Pudim conventual, com o atendimento simpático de Jessica e Daniel. Musica ambiente boa.

Ein tolles Laden(-lokal)-Konzept. Im Erdgeschoss bekommt man tolle Produkte aus Portugal. Von kleinen feinen Souvenirs bis hin zu schönem Interieur. Einen Stock höher befindet sich das Restaurant und auf der Dachterrasse ein kleines Bistro. Unser Mittagessen (ebenfalls alles aus Portugal) war richtig lecker. Und das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Leider hat es sonntags geschlossen und spät am Abend kann man dort auch nicht speisen (geschlossen). Dennoch unbedingt reingehen!

3 reviews in one incoming with the star rating pertaining to the restaurant. The store and bar are fantastic.
Review 1 - The Store: The store is definitely leaps and bounds above the quality of the surrounding businesses. A nice selection of local goods arranged across several floors of a really interesting space. I would recommend for anyone in town on vacation.
Review 2 - The Rooftop Bar: A hidden gem in Lagos. Great views of the neighborhood and the beach to the northeast. If you're looking for local beer and other beverages, this is a good spot. The music they play has to compete with street artists out front, but that's not their fault. Overall, a chill place to have some drinks and watch the sparrows fly around.
Review 3 - The Restaurant: If I could I'd give this a 3.75. It's better than average. Comparably, this is probably one of the better restaurants in this section of Lagos. Unfortunately that's not saying much. They try a little too hard to present locally sourced foods. See a theme here? Admirable, for sure, but the pairings left a lot to be desired and fell short in the end. Preparation is slow, meats overcooked, and sauces are bland. But if you're tired of the same old Portuguese food, this restaurant will relieve you for a spell. Just temper your expectations.

La comida es espectacular. Pedimos la ración de atún, empanada de pato y para el niño (3años) el puré del dia. Los helados son artesanales de naranja y frutos rojos. Todo riquísimo y fresco a muy buen precio.muy muy recomendable. El sitio es pequeño por lo que es recomendable ir pronto.

Really nice cafe space- good espresso and latte. The store is very touristy items some food- nothing that was super interesting or unique. Very limited cork selection. They have a music-book space which is unique. Friendly enough employees.

Comimos 4 y todo exquisito. Servicio excelente, comida buena y relación calidad precio viendo lo que hay por la zona inmejorable. Los postres absolutos, pedimos bombones de cacahuetes y 3 natas y muy muy bueno. Recomendable al 100%

Got to say I was not feeling it when we walked in as it is a Store first and restaurant and bar second, food was fantastic and a really nice atmosphere would have given it 6 stars if I could! Very good value for the quality of food

Very nice and friendly place. Don't forget to book a table in advance and be there in time. Its worth it. We had great food. especially the desert! Chocolate mousse with an Orange with olive oil and seasalt sauce. Heaven!

This restaurant is out of this world. Delicious plates, good portions, more than fair prices. This is a unique restaurant in a city where 90% of restaurants are for american tourists looking for burgers and pizzas and not typical portuguese food. I highly recommend this restaurant. The shop itself offers also great products.

Edifício com muita história e ainda bem que foi recuperado. Loja bem decorada, os artigos bem interessantes mas um pouco caros. Várias salas com artigos e um bar esplanada no topo do edifício. O único senão é a esplanada fechar às 0h que é a hora de fecho da loja. Detalhe que pode ser considerado, visto que há uma porta de saída para as traseiras que pode ser usada após o fecho da loja(hoje sai por lá, porque as da frente da loja já estavam fechadas), sem haver necessidade de atravessar a loja.

I have passed this spot for years and thought it was another junky tourist hole like any other. Then one day we just went in on a whim and wow! This is the tourist shop to visit. They have Portuguese alcohol, music, books, houseware and so much more. But take care, it's not cheap. If you want cheap tourist junk go to any other store. If you want a quality 70 Euro Expresso cup made in Portugal, go here

Delicious food in a lovely space in Lagos’s old town. The food really was great and the waiters were so friendly, helpful and just great. They made us feel so welcome and it is obvious a lot of love and care goes into the food here.
Even the ‘bread starter’ was fabulous.
The shop downstairs has a good selection of Portuguese craft and food and there’s also a roof terrace bar and a small but excellent book + music shop. Would love to go again.

Top floor restaurant is genius. Every thing we ate was fabulous with the exception of one dish which was just okay. Bottom floor boutique was great. Some lovely Portuguese products such as honey, oils etc.

Ottima cucina a prezzi economici. Siamo rimasti sorpresi dai prezzi così bassi dato che la qualità è alta. Probabilmente il loro core business è il negozio di souvenir e prodotti tipici che si trova al piano terra (con prezzi molto alti, lo dice uno che viene da Milano).

The food was excellent. Stuff was very nice and patient. The place is very interesting as well. Nice combination of multiple business premises. Definitely my favourite place during my stay on the south of Portugal this time.

Entrei sem saber ao q ia... adorei! Um edifício mt bem aproveitado tendo em conta a sua antiguidade.
Loja c produtos regionais, verdadeiras relíquias dos tempos q já lá vão, aromas, bebidas, vinhos...um sem fim de coisas q apetece levar p casa. Restaurante, biblioteca, e no terraço um lounge super agradável p um chá. Aconselho vivamente.

Best local food and very nice and well trained waiters. Had luck and someone didn't show up for his reservation so we had a place. Make sure to reserve it has only a few tables and the food is really an experience!

Еда была весьма вкусная. Стейк из тунца удался. Куриная нога ничего особенного. Тунец в карпаччо был вяленый, а хотелось сырого. Десерт (конфеты из арахиса с шоколадом и мороженым из мадагаскарского банана) был прекрасен. Главная претензия к нашему ужину -- что-то странное с напитками. Мы хотели сангрию, но сказали, что у них нет, но есть в их баре наверху. Немного странный подход. Почему бы не принести из бара? Кто-то из посетителей сам сходил в бар за коктейлем. Расстроившись, что нет сангрии, мы заказали лимонад и что-то с апельсиновым соком. То ли мы не так выразились, то ли не знаю что, но получили мы нечто с название "ананасная сода", что на вкус было юпи с газиками и тонной сахара. Лимонад к нашему ужасу был этим же юпи, только разбавленным и со льдом. И опять-таки ужасно сладким. Никакого фруктика, ни лимона, ничего. В конце мы заказали мятный чай в надежде что-нибудь таки выпить. Листики мяты были прекрасны. Но хлорная вода из-под крана все испортила.

We visited the shop which had some great local produce and ended up in the rooftop bar enjoying a nice bottle of wine.
Staff were superb and really friendly.

In the morning had a delicious espresso in this beautiful roof terras (it was not too bitter nor acidic as in many other cafetaria's, price for an espresso 1.20€). Me and my boyfriend were here at around 10am and we were the only customers and so the service was fast and friendly and the waiters spoke English. Prices are somewhat higher than average but if you are looking for a chill spot with a beautiful view of the city, it's worth it! And I absolutely recommend browsing through the store downstairs. The souvenirs are of high quality and locally made. Moreover, the building itself is very beautiful to wonder around, it's huge! Go and see for yourself!

Wonderful portuguese restaurant which only uses local ingredients. The dishes were simply amazing, we ordered the steak and grilled octopus and were very happy. The staff is friendly and helpful with great recommendations. Located in a building together with a gift shop and a rooftop terrace & barwith the same concept (locally sourced products / drinks). Be sure to reserve a table as it usually is fully booked.

We only were able to visit the rooftop bar because the restaurant was all booked up. The view and ambience was nice. The were only able to serve starters up there. We had some cheeses and chorizo. Nothing really blew us away. It was a bit more on the expensive side.

Im Erdgeschoß ein Shop, auf der Galerie ein sehr gutes, kleines Resti mit wenigen Tischen. Hatte Crevetten in Oranfensauße (Orange Prawns) und geschmortem Schwein mit Muscheln (Pork with Clams, siehe Foto), dazu einen schönen Roten aus dem Alentejo, alles war vorzüglich!

Roof top bar only serving Portugal products/drinks so if u want a Vodka mixer or Coca Cola etc it won't be available. Drinks are slightly expensive but you get a nice view of the roof tops of Lagos centro.

Très bon restaurant, service impeccable. Le restaurant est situé à l'étage, le rdc est une boutique. Il est conseillé de réserver avant. À savoir, il existe un roof top mais il n'est accessible que l'après midi pour un "petisco".
Les produits sont frais, locaux, cuisiné avec soin. Choix limité mais de grande qualité.
Je recommande le porc com ameijoas.

Wonderful place, the food was good, but the staff were a bit sleepy though kind, they made some mistakes on my requests. The tabua mists is good, the tuna carpaccio too. The cake very good but we had not understood yet the ingredients, since the waiters did not speak English

Love the roof top terrace on this place. You get a lovely sunny area (with some shade if you're hot). It has great traditional Portuguese drinks, cocktails and snacks. Classy but unassuming, you can go in casual beach gear (as long as you have a t-shirt and shorts on) or dressed up. The shop downstairs has a huge range of traditional Portuguese arts and crafts, not the usual tourist junk but actually hand crafted quality items and artwork by local Portuguese makers and artists. It's not so cheap because of this but at least you will be buying something your friends and family might like and keep.
My favourite place for a drink after dinner or the first drink of the evening if you are going out on a bigger night. It's not a place for the young drinkers as it's not a very large terrace and it doesn't play pumping house music. It's much more tranquil than that! They have blankets if the wind is up or umbrellas if the sun is too hot. A wonderful place to wind down and relax...enjoy!

Eine riesige Auswahl an lokalen bzw. in Portugal hergestellten Produkten. Lebensmittel, Taschen, Tücher, Kleidung, Bücher, Bilder, Keramik, Musik und vieles mehr. Es gibt ein Café im 1.Stock und eine herrliche Dachterrasse mit Cocktailbar. Auf jeden Fall ein Besuch wert.

Sadly we had lunch across the road, not realising this little gem is hidden under the guise of an authentic Portuguese trinket shop. Some lovely Portuguese items for sale. We ventured in to find a lovely dining area on a mezzanine floor looking over the shop. Venturing further we found a rooftop cafe. Absolutely lovely. They have ultised every nook and cranny in this place and we will definitely be going back to eat next time. I have read that you need to book a few days in advance.

Um fabuloso local para relaxar!
Quando em Lagos, recomendo que se visite.
Começando por baixo, pela loja, os produtos levam-nos em viagens de nostalgia, e quando não o fazem, espantam-nos com a originalidade dos mesmos.
Subindo ao 1º piso, a secção de livros e música encontra-se repleta de cultura, Tanto tem livros informativos como livros para crianças - vale a pena perder uns minutos para decidir. Quanto a música, são inúmeras as opções e estilos de música tradicional portuguesa.
No mesmo 1º piso, na zona de restaurante, garanto que a comida não é nada menos que "genial". Combinações de ingredientes que - de todas as vezes que lá comi - me deixam "as papilas gustativas a bater palmas"! Carne de excelente qualidade, vinhos excepcionais e todo um ambiente de profissionalismo na cozinha, que bem se nota nos pratos servidos candidamente pelo "staff".
Passando ao piso do terraço/bar, bem... a vista é linda, os cocktails são bem preparados e - em dias em que o típico vento norte lacobrigense dê tréguas - o tempo passa sem que se dê por ele!... Nos dias mais ventosos, as "mantas" disponíveis fizeram muito bem o seu serviço. Experimentem o "Café Algarvio" aqui servido, se quiserem afastar qualquer réstia de frio!
Em resumo, trata-se de um edifício cheio de história e de estórias, com um atendimento atencioso, em qualquer um dos seus espaços, e na minha opinião, merece ser visitado.

Wonderful and quiet spot, away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets. Limited menu with exquisite choices. Excellent service. Our hosts went out of their way to make a memorable evening. Although on the main street, its set up, inside, on the second floor of a bookstore, brings welcome peace.

My husband and I went to the rooftop bar on September 04th to have a lunch after reading all those excellent and overrated reviews from internet! I do not understand the hype about this awful place.
First, the service is the worst. Absolutely ignorant waiters who do not pay attention at their customers, not to mention long time to waiting for your food.
We left the bar without having coffee or dessert because nobody was serving or offering to us. We were seating with empty plates for 25 minutes while the barista was chatting with waitress and not paying attention at us. We were hand waiving but did not help.
We had to go and pay at the bar and leave this place because these people ignored us.
Second, food and menu are not interesting with strange combinations of ingredients.
There was No fresh fish or seafood or meat, only pre-served or precooked food staff like canned tuna.
Algarvian gazpacho has more onions than tomatoes and was awful.
And third, my husband got food poisoning after eating at this terrible place and this spoiled our day completely.
Please avoid Mar D'Estorias rooftop bar if you can because there are many other good places in Lagos with friendly and attentive service and FRESH food ingredients.

Really good sangria with a great view of the surrounding rooftops! We relaxed at the rooftop bar while the sun started to set and really enjoyed ourselves. The store downstairs is also very fun and well stocked with Portuguese made items. We bought some honey, olive oil, almond butter, and handmade soaps

Un service de grande qualité. Une carte très courte excellente. Une atmosphère reposante. Poussez la porte de ce lieu particulier tout à la fois librairie, magasin d'objets artisanaux. Ce qui en fait aussi son charme.

We had breakfast on the rooftop and it was quite nice. Scrambled eggs, fresh juice and coffee were all good. It is tucked away above the store.

Toller Laden mit landestypischen Produkten (Weine, Seifen, Öle, Bilder, Taschen, Keramik...), die sich wunderbar als Mitbringsel eignen. Kein "Touri-Nepp", sondern wirklich schöne, wertige Dinge. Außerdem sind in dem Gebäude eine Bar auf der Dachterrasse (schöne Stimmung bei Sonnenuntergang) und ein kleines, aber sehr feines portugiesisches Lokal beheimatet. Vorspeisen und Hauptspeisen sind exzellent. Kabeljau und Wildschwein für je EUR 13,00 - fast schon unverschämt günstig. Als Dessert unbedingt den Carob-Feigen-Trüffel probieren.

Voici un restaurant qui a tout bon . La cuisine est délicieuse particulièrement les coques, le riz aux herbes, les chips de patates douce , le poulpe avec la patate douce.
le seul bémol c'est le pain , franchement peu (beaucoup mieux faire) , de petites tranches sèches de pain d'un noir artificiel et du pain blanc qui ne vaut pas mieux

Very touristic Store with a nice Coffee-Bar and a chilling Roof-Top-Bar.
Nevertheless all in all it is not typical touristic, it is with ambition.

Amazing trendy shop with authentic Portuguese items for sale (not the tourist trap type) with a hidden gem of a cafe/lunch spot on the roof that was some of the best food we had on vacation! Definitely check it out

My girlfriend wanted to visit the shop because it looked interesting. It WAS interesting. As we delved further into this labrinth of an establishment we fell upon a roof top cafe. First impressions were great, very clean and kept well. We had a quick glance at the menu, I had been craving fruit all afternoon so it really was a quick glance. We ordered two mocktails, two bowls of fruit and some fig icecream. Exceptional from start to finish. Proper little gem! Hoping to return for dinner later this week.

Fantastic cultural centre with shop , gallery and bookshop highlighting and offering local goods and artefacts.......2 nice bar/cafes also......especially the rooftop bar with stunning views....accessible only by small stone stairs...well worth a visit ...in the heart of Lagos.

Espaço muito agradável e acolhedor. Climatizado. Pessoal muito simpático e serviço rápido.
Gostámos de todos os pratos que provámos com destaque para a tomatada algarvia.
Vale a pena espreitar todos os restantes espaços do edificio, sobretudo o terraço.

Great place to buy original gifts, traditionally portuguese. Old church recovered, and great view from the terrace (coffee shop upstairs)!!! Try the fig cake with yogurt!
