Excellent service and communication throughout the entire process with transparency. The owner picked us up right from the airport gate and allowed us to drop the car right at the drop off area. The car was nice and clean . For a change it was nice to be only charged for what i was told and nothing more for a rental car company !

I strongly advise Rui's (NiceRent) bookings over any of the other big brand vendors, anyday! 5 star concierge-like service and No hidden costs!! Well aware of the various issues with the big rental franchises, I was scouring tripadvisor forums for reviews on car rental options in Faro/Algarve and came across about 40 reviews - all 5 stars - for NiceRent. So I called their number and straightaway spoke to Rui (no automated IVRs nor hold options) and within 5 minutes he had arranged a car, latest model, alongwith Sat Nav and a free booster seat! He met us at the Arrivals - no queues, no elaborate form filling, no sales pitch (pushing excess cover etc.), and sent us on our way with very useful local information and guidance. Upon return, I literally drove right to the departures gate where he was waiting for for collection with a trolley to help us unload our bags. Overall, the rental experience was The Best ever! We need more service providers like these everywhere!

I was really happy with the service, communication and the car. No hidden fees, pickup at the airport, great price. The car was new and clean. Highly recommend this rental service.

j'avais très peur des commentaires laissés par les gens sur les arnaques a la location de voiture au Portugal en particulier, ca semble être le point critique,,,,j'ai donc trouvé Nice rent sur trip advisor ou il n'y avait que des bons commentaires; je n'ai pas été déçue bien au contraire, Antonio est très arrangeant, est venu m'apporter la voiture a la gare de Faro au lieu de l’aéroport, voiture de modèle supérieur a celui commandé sur internet et tout cela sans aucun supplément; durant mon séjour, le montant convenu a été prélevé sur ma carte sans le moindre centime en trop; j'avais dis que je ne prenais aucune assurance supplémentaire ayant payé avec une carte visa première, il n'a absolument pas essayé de me faire payer quoi que ce soit de plus, il est si confiant qu'on se demande si ca ne cache rien et au final c'est juste une homme gentil et honnête et ca fait plaisir! le retour de voiture s'est passé de la façon la plus cool et la plus facile, merci !

I can only echo what others have written. Why would you want to rent from a huge international chain when you can have a nice guy like Rui meet you off your flight, walk you to a perfectly clean and comfortable car, hand you the keys and remind you that any problems, just call or mail him? Fantastic service end-to-end.

5 star experience from the minute we called the company until the car was collected from us. We called super last minute to book and Rui made sure to offer a very good clean and new car for a fair price! He delivered the car to our hotel in Faro and collected it from us at the airport before our flight! Super friendly and would definitely recommend this company!

The best car hire I’ve ever been too. No deposits, you can pay with debit card. Free car upgrade! We paid for the cheapest one and got brand new Renault Captur! By far best option to rent a car in Faro. Price is fair and there are no hidden costs (like the other companies do and fool the customers). Cars are good and service is great. Rui is very attentive and punctual.
