O aluguer de carro foi via da seguradora... mas o atendimento foi impecável, muito atenciosos a explicar tudo o que teria que fazer. Não tenho o hábito de alugar carro, mas em Lagos recomendo o serviço da Europcar, foram simplesmente 5*.

Rude and arrogant staff. Take hours to process. The waiting seats in lounge were shaky so asked them to get them repaired as customers might fall, reply from staff was the it did not matter as the fall was short.

I read the bad reviews but the car was so cheap that I decided to rent it. And it was the worst decision of the day. The lady is extremely slow, I lost one hour and at the end I couldn’t pick up the car.
The costumer service hotline is not working, I didn’t get the car and I had to pay for it anyway.
I wouldn’t recommend this place. There are another companies in the city center and they are very good.

Ich bin nach wie vor sprachlos. Wir hatten ein Auto online gebucht, die Kaution wurde bereits auf der Karte blockiert und wir hatten - um sicher zu gehen - nochmal im Chat auf der Webseite nachgefragt ob mit der Buchung alles ok ist und wir das Auto am nächsten Tag abholen können (Screenshot haben wir gemacht) - uns wurde zugesichter das alles klappen würde.
Tags darauf hieß es vor Ort, dass sie uns kein Auto geben können, da wir keine korrekte Kreditkarte verwendet hätten (die Kaution hatten sie aber bereits abgebucht...). Als wäre das nicht genug, mussten wir den Preis für das Mietauto trotzdem bezahlen ohne eines zu bekommen. Als Alternative hätten wir für mehr als den doppelten Preis für den wir online gebucht haben ein weiteres Auto buchen können - ohne Gewährleistung, dass das Geld der ersten Buchung zurückerstattet wurde.
Da mit der Frau am Schalter nicht zu diskutieren war, versuchten wir insgesamt drei Stunden die Hotline zu erreichen - ohne Erfolg. Im Onlinechat wollte man uns diesbezüglich auch nicht helfen. Auf eine Email haben wir bislang noch keine Antwort bekommen. Hoffentlich bekommen wir zumindest die 330€ Kaution zurück.
Kleine Randnotiz: Es dauerte über eine Stunde, bis die Dame an der Rezeption alles - zu unseren Ungunsten - bearbeitet hatte.

Good service , helpful staff , busy place may take a bit to get your rental. Be sure to have your passport (or a picture of it) and licence both, for the rental. Small automatic diesel Volvo was very good.

Fraquinho, mesmo muito fraquinho. Cheguei e iam buscar carros porque não tinham mais. Deixaram-me plantada, fora e ao frio. Continuo à espera. É ainda de acrescentar que se aconselha qualquer outra companhia que em Lagos esteja aberta ao sábado porque esta fecha!

Bad company , Pretend nice to customer,staffs are liar
I rent a car in Lagos Europe car though zhe zhe Che agent for 2 days , I told the staff that we didn’t need any insurance due to we already bought all online, and they understand our situation, and they promised no extra insurance in our contract.
They were nice to you when I returned the car, and I just feeel they are nice people, and forgot to take a picture of all my contract .
After I back home I got my credit card bill, 50 euros are debit from Europe car, 50 euros are the extra insurance!!!
Now I’m flight for 49.99 euros back from Europe Car.
If you need to rent a car here , need to take all pictures of car and contract for before and return the car!!!
Of course, don’t rent car here is good choice
我經租租車在拉船斯Europe car 租了兩天車,因為之前網上已經在租租車買了全險,所以跟店員說明不須要買任何車行保證,而他也說我簽的合約是沒有加購任何保險,
在取車還車時,他們友善的態度令你放戎心, 我也忘記了拍下合約的照片,他們也在合約上全剔了,說我們車子沒問題,便放心離開
回到家後,賬單竟然給Europe car扣掉了49.99euro,經租租車查下說是車行的保險,Europe car竟然偷偷的扣了我信用卡錢加買保險,太不老實了,
現我正爭取退回費用

Wow what a marothon . I arrived at Saturday 6th Oct at 14:00 and left at 16:10.
Now i had an electronic booking but it still took forever to manually enter my details. So this was a sore point.
The background to the very long wait was due to only having one staff member on the desk. I'll give the make staff member credit for handling the two difficult customers (who took up over 40+ mins )as well as the returns as well as the other bookings.
But to wait over 2 hours to collect a prebooked car is rediculous.
Address the staff issue, that was just poor form.
Also have something for customers such as water or coffee on hand. This doesn't take much effort and cost.
Plus clean the waiting area. It was dirty and poorly maintained.
Other than this the car is good.
Rating 1/2 a point at best. Hope management in lagos europcar listen and take on feedback.

Mir fällt kein anderes Wortein als "VERBRECHER"!!!
Haben uns einfach 300Euro abgezogen und behauptet, es sei durch uns ein Schaden entstanden.. wir bitten um Schadensbericht (ist mittlerweile 3 Wochen her) und bekommen nicht ein mal eine Antwort.
Und die größte aller Frechheiten: Heute haben sie versucht, uns noch einmal 480 Euro abzuziehen, ohne irgendeine Begründung darzulegen .. wie kann es sein, dass ihr nach 6 Wochen einfach auf die Idee kommt, uns Geld abzubuchen????
Nie nie nie nie bei Europcar ein Auto leihen, sie werden auch schamlos ausnehmen!

Went to collect a car. Queue already formed, waited 10mins, asked people in queue how long they'd been waiting (20mins) asked if they'd seen anyone .. No.
Walked outside phoned the office, no one answered. Saw through the window the two was Sat on the floor in another room talking on her mobile. Another rep brought back a car was gobsmacked at the queue and suddenly she appeared...

Booked (including payment) through Expedia. Turned up to collect the car and was told there were no cars available including if we were to return the following day. Disgraceful

Sehr netter und unkomplizierter Service!
Es wurden keinerlei Versuche unternommen, zusätzliche Versicherungen oder ähnliches anzudrehen.
Kreditkarte wird mit 300€ Deposit belastet.
Abholung und Rückgabe erfolgte jeweils um 08:30. somit auch keine Wartezeiten, da das Büro um diese Uhrzeit erst öffnet.
Wir bekamen einen relativ neuen VW Polo mit 7000km, kleinere Kratzer wurden alle im Protokoll vermerkt und der Check-Up bei der Rückgabe erfolgte sehr unkompliziert.

Went here one day to rent a car for the next morning . The agent present informed us there are no available cars until 4pm... not knowing what to do we tried to book online and we were able to reserve a car for the morning as we wanted. The agent did not tell us we could have done that and would have been very helpful if they had. When we arrive to pick up our reserved car the same agent was having a lot of difficulties with their system and could not plug in our name and license. Took about 45 mins until he gave up and left it the way it was. He seemed stressed and angry since he kept pushing the keyboard keys so hard. Finally we got our car. But I was not so pleased with the service here....

Be carefull the employees of this company appear to be helpfull and plesant but they lie through their teeth to get you to buy more options. I was told that i just had to pay 18 euros and all the high way fees would be free. One month later after paying the 18 euros a large amount of money was deducted from my card for highway fees. So they have a deceitful marketing stragergy to fool you into paying an amount that you don´t need to as you could just go to the post office and pay the highway fees. It´s clearly done to rip off tourists who would only be charged once they are back in the country of origin.

The worst car rental expierence. After first car checkup employee marked scraches and damage, which was preexisting in the vehicle. We could not control and know if all scratches and damage are marked. Our mistake was, that we did not make any photos. After car return - they found three new damages, but I can assure you - this damage was preexisting. We receive ~130 euro claim, which raised our expenses x2. Avoid this company, do not prepay, make a lot of photos. Photo every part of the car and demand, that every scratch would be marked down...

Dans l’ensemble ça allait. Mais la voiture n’a pas été donné avec le plein, le nettoyage ce n’était pas ça. Et malgré qu’il m’ait donné un véhicule diesel comme « surclassement », le véhicule était en dessous de la catégorie demandée.

Prices online are totally different to prices in the office. Online it said 28€ for the smallest car and a few minutes later in the office 62€, same car, same time, same terms... Very strange. Only thing they worried about was the credit card...

Terrible, terrible customer service. Everything takes ages to accomplish. It's been two days since I've cancelled my reservation and I still did not get my money back. Look for other car rental company, anything is better than this place.

Una vergüenza... me cobran 226 euros de la reserva y posteriormente 300 euros sin avisar de depósito. Llego y no me dejan coger el coche por que no podía haber pagado con la tarjeta que usé (un supuesto error de la página web). A parte de esto, la pagina me deja contratar seguro premium , para no dejar fianza, cuando solo se puede si eres mayor de 25 y tengo 21. Por si fuera poco han tardado 12 días en devolverme los 300 euros y los 226 aún no he visto nada... se supone que me van a quitar 50€ de "multa" . Optamos al final por compañía local como marina rent a car, súper barato y un trato extraordinario.

Lamentable... Reservamos un coche, nos cobran 526€ y al llegal a recogerlo nos dicen que la tarjeta debe ser de crédito y no de débito, la cancelación nos cuesta 50€ y nos devuelven la cantidad restante dentro de 2-3 semanas. Les da totalmente igual y nos dejan así tirados sin dinero. No habíamos firmado nada. El trato al consumidor nefasto.

Véhicule réservé et payé à l'avance sur le site avec le pack premium (assurance complète). Arrivé le jour de la réservation, l'agent EuropCar m'informe que j'ai la protection basique avec une franchise de 1500€. Je lui indique que j'ai bien souscrit à l'assurance complète sans franchise mais me répond plusieurs fois que non, et que si je la veux je dois la payer. J'ai dû lui répéter 10 fois avant que par miracle elle se rende compte que oui (parce que j'avais un document le prouvant)... Tentative d'arnaque à touristes ?!
Véhicule attribué vraiment bas de gamme pour le prix payé !
Après la location, bonne surprise : qq frais supplémentaires ont été prélevé sans que je sois prévenu ! Bien sûr aucun soucis sur la voiture au retour et le plein avait été fait.
Ayant déjà loué à Sixt et RentaCar sans soucis, je ne recommande pas du tout EuropCar à Lagos !! Prenez garde à ce qu'ils font si vous ne surveillez pas... En +, location trop chère !

Sehr lange Wartezeit aufgrund der vielen Formulare und unentschlossene Kunden. Kreditkarte sollte ein ausreichendes Limit haben zur Buchung. Erklärung ausschließlich auf Englisch oder eben Portugisisch.
Fahrzeuge sind ok und waren alle rel. Neu.
Bei Übernahme auf Mängel achten von Vorgänger und aufschreiben lassen.

Car was fine. Checkout staff was VERY rude and slow (low season so can't imagine what they do during high season). Look up other websites for reviews... these guys don't seem to do very well in the Algarve region. I would not recommend using their services and I find it interesting that they do not send a consumer survey.

Our car was great, but the checkout process took forever. I think they need to streamline their checkout process or hire additional staff. Overall europcar was reasonably priced and the vehicle was good so I only took one star off for the slow service.

Mussten beim Abholen des reservierten Autos eine Stunde warten. Sonst sehr gut: Auto in sehr gutem Zustand, viele Extras möglich. Auch E-Bikes
