We live locally but had never visited before. Visited twice during the Rota da Petiscos event. I really love this place. Very tranquil atmosphere. No intrusive loud music, in fact the music played added considerably to the experience. , being a mix of swing and other 30/40s era. The food was great and the menu looks fantastic to just sit quietly have a drink and some petiscos (tappas). Definitely going again..

Die Cocktails waren lieblos und nicht schmackhaft. Der strawberry dream war leider ein strawberry nightmare. Der Erdbeer Geschmack war sehr süßlich künstlich und der Cocktail hat trotzdem noch sehr stark nach günstigem Alkohol geschmeckt. Das es uns nicht geschmeckt hat war der Bedingung allerdings sehr egal

UPDATE! Waitress didn’t wash her hands after leaving the toilet! Average food, above average price & dodgy tourist trap. When we went to pay the bill with credit card, the waitress said the machine had no paper. I said ok, I don’t need paper. Then she said no paper & the chip reader doesn’t work. Once again I said ok, we can swipe. She refused then, & said cash only. Great frozen glass for beer however.

Ein liebevoller netter Ort, wenn man von den touristischen Souvenirsläden und der auf Konsum gerichteten kleinen Stadt entkommen und sein Essen in einer liebevollen und authentischen Athmosphäre genießen möchte... ist es hier der richtige Ort.

Un buen lugar para comer y beber! Te atienden bastante bien y rápido. Los precios son bastante buenos. Tienes bocadillos, tapas... Por 3.50/5€!

Die Cocktails haben stark nach billigem Alkohol geschmeckt. Weiter war nicht wirklich was zu schmecken daran. Nach 2 Schluck haben wir, wie auch andere, die Cocktails stehenlassen und sind gegangen. Nicht zu empfehlen
Essen haben wir nicht gehabt - kann ich mir kein Urteil drüber erlauben.

Service déplorable, le serveur demande d'attendre 5min qu'il finisse de manger puis nous apporte le TPE en nous demandant de rentrer le montant nous même. Bravo monsieur.

Waitress was taking forever, and he seemed sorta lost. My tuna toast had only tuna, no seasoning whatsoever. Cheese and honey bruschetta was a joke. Melon and orange juice were fine. The only great thing is the decoration. Go somewhere else.

We found this place by accident, me and my fiance wanted to have shrimps for dinner. A lovely lady came out when we were looking at the menu and said she is the cook. So we decided to take the garlic shrimps with piri piri. One of the best shrimps i had in my life, delicious! And the sangria was really good. Recommed this place, I am sure everything taste great here! Cozy place

Ended up here by mistake later in the evening. Absolutely blown away, one of the best food experiences I ever had. The piri piri prawns were unbelievable, chorizo and salmon amazing. Highly recommend!!!!

We came here for tapas-type food and wine. The piri piri shrimp were delicious, as was the cheese with port, almonds, honey, and figs. Fun place with tables and chairs made out of wine crates, and little crafts for sale. We will come back.

Good for lunch snacks. Its slightly further up the hill than the pizza and chips places. Not so touristy. Quite chilled. Go inside or outside. Some of the food is basic but they do serve meals with some actual Portuguese meats, cheeses, and fish in them. We watched actual chorizo sausage being cooked the actual Portuguese way. Some authentic Portuguese drinks too.
