I would recommend this resort for the following reasons: Very nice resort with spacious rooms and good bathroom. Decent adult pool and good sun loungers; excellent health club facilities also. Breakfast was buffet style - decent selection but not sure that I would give it a full 5 stars, nonetheless, that would not prevent me from returning to this hotel. Service: very friendly staff and particularly so on welcome but overall I did not consider the service 5 star and that was particularly evident at meal times. The staff are very friendly for the most part but I am just not sure that any manager has explained to them how to give five star service. Also, it is necessary to factor in taxi rides to and from Carvoeiro in the evenings - definitely not walkable!! Otherwise, I would recommend this resort for a really nice hassle free chilled out holiday.

I stayed here with my fiance for my birthday weekend and we had a brilliant time.The staff were very friendly and helpful and they made my birthday very special. The resort was calm and clean, the facilities were very good and the food was very tasty (had breakfast lunch and dinner). We will be back!

Love this place. Particularly the health club and spa. As a resident I use it regularly and the current health club team is absolutely superb and have created a great atmosphere in which to get for and have fun while doing it (never thought I would say that!) The encouragement we all receive is so personal and friendly the majority of us are driven to try harder with pleasure....
Whether a holidaymaker, part- or full time resident.... Highly recommended

Très beau resort bien entrenu. Maisonnettes spacieuses et propres (hormis transats de la terrasse salis par des oiseaux...). Petit déjeuner très correct.
Petit bémol: la salle se petit déjeuner manquait de chaise hautes sécurisées pour bébé de moins d’un an.

Cleanliness excellent. Only one restaurant and snack bar so limited choice. Service in restaurant slow but staff pleasant and friendly. Courtesy transport to local beaches and restaurants which did widen choices. We would return, but possibly hire a car to explore surrounding area. Over all very enjoyable stay.

Très bel hôtel doté d'un parking sécurisé. Nous avons été accueillis en français. Magnifique jardin. Piscine intérieure (bonnet de bain obligatoire) et extérieure mais non chauffée donc impossible de s'y baigner en mars. Grande chambre avec de spacieux espaces de rangement. Literie au top. Peignoirs et chaussons à disposition. Très bon petit déjeuner. Petits inconvénients : 1 siège dont l'assise avait perdu tout son moelleux et un éclairage insuffisant dans la salle-de-bains. Nous y avons dîné. Pour 2 : une trilogie de poissons, 1 bouteille de vin blanc et 2 desserts avec de petites quantités et une addition s'élevant à une centaine d'euros, ce que nous estimons trop élevé. Nous reviendrons toutefois avec plaisir nous y loger !

Dort haben wir 2017/2018 gewohnt. Leider haben die Bäder keine Heizung, im Januar ein Muss. Das Frühstücksbuffet sehr reichhaltig und für jeden etwas dabei. Die Silvesterparty war gut gelungen. Ein Sejtemofang mit leckeren Häppchen und ein feines Menü. Es gibt sowohl Hotelzimmer, Appartements als auch Bungalows zu mieten. Die Anlage liegt mitten in den Hügeln und grenzt teilweise an den Golfplatz Gramacho. Sie ist im maurischen Stil erbaut.

For a 5 stars hotel, they didn’t give us washing stuff(e.g shower gel) until we asked. The double bed in our room was made from two single beds which created a gap in the middle. It’s really uncomfortable to sleep on that kind of bed. They closed the outdoor swimming pools these few days(or maybe the whole Jan). The indoor swimming pool is not that great. The only great thing is the breakfast which is the reason I don’t give it under 3.

Un joli complexe 5 étoiles. Restaurant de grande qualité. Petit déjeuner de rêve. Tout est fait pour reussir votre sejour. Même, aujourd'hui 19 janvier, il pleut, après une ballade, nous profitons de la piscine couverte, du hammam et du spa. Le golf est à côté et un tarif réduit nous est proposé. La chambre, en fait le pavillon , est magnifique, très bien équipée.

Un lieu de détente parfait ! L'accueil est de qualité et tout est expliqué avec détail afin que le séjour se passe dans les meilleurs conditions. Tout est propre et entretenu régulièrement. Le pdj est copieux et varié. Le calme est très apprécié pour la détente bien méritée ! Les chambres sont spacieuses et bien équipées. A moins de 20 minutes, toutes les commodités sont disponibles, supermarchés, restauration et loisirs.

Came for my 50th birthday with my husband. It did not disappoint we had a relaxing break from start to finish.
We used the hotel shuttle bus to the local places .. ferragudo and carvoeiro, all I can say is stunning views good food/wine and well worth a visit the driver john even took us to watch the sunset which was an added bonus.
The reception staff restaurant/bar staff and managers all approachable with genuine interest in meeting your needs and friendly into the bargain. The food in the restaurant is excellent with a new chef no complaints at all.
Hotel is very Clean throughout and all the facilities are adequate with a good pool sauna and Jacuzzi.
The temperature was in the 20s which is great for us in December !! having come from Scotland.
Overall great memories of this beautiful place...highly recommended

The resort is lovely and well-maintained, the apartment was spotlessly clean and spacious. The resort is a little out of the way but easy to drive to and not far to drive to plenty of great beaches. Perfect for a family holiday.

Relativ schwer zu erreichen, aber sobald Mal angekommen ist gibt es schöne Bungalows mit genügend Platz und guten sanitären anlagen. Es gibt ein Spar, eine Sauna und andere Einrichtungen wie Hallen und Freibad. Wobei man fürs Hallenbad eine Badekappe braucht, was für mich ein negativer Aspekt war. Das essen ist lecker und die Aussicht ist ebenfalls schön.

Fantastic service. They catered for all our needs. We were on holiday for my girlfriend's birthday and got back one evening to find a cake and some bubbly in our room. They happily printed our boarding passes and allowed us to stay an hour after check out time. Our room was spotlessly clean.

Größe der Anlage geht durch Baustil unter und ist somit sehr angenehm in die Landschaft integriert.
Sehr sauber und gut organisiert.
Für ein 5 Sterne Hotel ist das Frühstück in Ordnung, auf jeden Fall nicht außergewöhnlich.
Lage ruhig, abseits des Zentrums.
Caveiro als ruhiger Algarve Ort sehr zu empfehlen.

I went with my wife and 2-year-old daugther. It was our first experience in a spa resort with small kids. The Vale d'Oliveiras Quinta Resort & Spa is a beautiful hotel with a lot of green and peaceful (great for kids and people seaking some rest). The rooms are big (even the standard appartments).
The main pool is really nice. There is an option for indoor pool for bad weather (like I did). You need to use caps (they sell it on the reception). Our daughter was too small for the kids club. It was not a great success. Most of the time, it was empty. They have concerts at night and some extra activities for kids. I really enjoyed my stay. The food was good (bar and restaurant) and the prices reasonables. You will need a car to get there and it is a good idea to keep it. Considering you are in Algarve and there are lots of nice beaches, you will need a car anyways. The staff was really nice and helpful. I enjoyed a back massage on the Spa and it was really worth it. The hotel will definatly be on my favorite list.

Lhôtel est en campagne, entouré de golfs, il se situe à environ 5 kms des plages, heureusement que lhôtel possède une navette qui propose tous les jours aux mêmes heures, deux endroits différents, ce qui permet de sortir un peu, car sans moyen de transports, il y a rien à faire. Déçue que personne de lhôtel ne parlait français, difficile donc de communiquer, et déchanger, ce qui a été très frustrant, même si lon se débrouillait un petit peu pour parler anglais (car les portugais parlent couramment langlais, mais ne font aucun effort pour les français). De plus, aucune information dans lhôtel, ni prospectus, ni carte, ou autres, pour les activités quelconques qui sont proposés aussi bien à lhôtel quaux alentours.La chambre que nous avions était un grand appartement avec 2 chambres, grande cuisine équipée (même une machine à laver avec de la lessive), salon, grande terrasse en étage, une salle deau + une salle de bain. Tout confort, literie impeccable.

O espaço é muito bonito, estava tudo muito limpo nos jardins, as plantas muito bem tratadas. Adoramos o restaurante, a comida é uma delícia, o atendimento muito bom, profissional. O quarto era agradável, no entanto há certos pormenores que não são de um resort 5 estrelas, por exemplo a secretária do quarto estava com um pé todo danificado, é uma coisa simples de arranjar, mas estava feio, assim como há muito pó dentro dos candeeiros. Para mim não tem grande importância, mas sendo um hotel de 5 estrelas, deve estar tudo " impecável" ! Mas é como disse, gostamos muito e de certeza que iremos regressar.

Staff friendly and helpful.Buffet breakfast was included in our rate and is excellent - one of the best Iberian breakfast buffets we have enjoyed.The New Year Gala Dinner was a disappointment, I wouldnt rush to repeat the experience - especially at the 135 euro pp cost.Nevertheless, a really enjoyable stay at a competitive rate.

The resort is well presented and of a good design and the staff are lovely, but the maintenance let's the property down.
The pool is a great place to relax the parking is easy and the breakfast is extensive but no eggs/omelette cooked to order available, but egg was available on the buffet.
Make sure you look up directions to the resort and don't rely on Google maps.

Any concerns we had quickly disappeared as soon as we walked in to reception. A very friendly welcome. We asked for an upgrade and they were happy to oblige. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Beautifully decorated. Stunning outside space to relax. We used the pool and the gym every day. We took advantage of the shuttle service to visit nearby villages and sights. Our driver was great. We came for piece and quite and we got it. The restaurant was first class with an imaginative menu. Highly recommended. We will be back

loved the space in the apartment and quietness, lovely gardens. Take note s01 apartment gets the sun all day so you can do a lot of sunbathing on the patio, but there is no wall of bushes like all the other apartments so no privacy, everyone can see you.

Wir waren Ende des Sommers zum zweiten Mal hier und diesmal haben wir ein Gartenzimmer gebucht mit eigener Terasse.Das kann ich wirklich empfehlen,da man auch eine eigene Küche hat und einfach viel mehr Platz als in einem Standard DZ. Leider sind die 5Sterne nicht gerechtfertigt,da das Frühstück und auch der Service und die Zimmer nicht 5Sterne gerecht sind. Da haben wir schon ganz andere Erfahrungen gemacht mit anderen Hotels in der Kategorie.

Lobby was under a bit of renovation when we arrived. Staff was friendly and helpful... very attentive. We stayed in H08 which is near the rear of the property and had a view of the tennis court. The room is in need of a refresh as some of the furniture was worn. The bed was extremely hard and did not offer a comfortable sleep. Pool was freezing cold but drinks were good. Dinner was just okay.

We came here for the first time and our honeymoon! We had a 2 bedroom apartment, it was huge and had everything you would need from home in it. We are very pleased with our accommodation. The grounds are stunning. Very quiet. Will definitely be back to stay again.

Les espaces verts sont magnifiques et les chambres en petit appartement de grande qualité. Les services et le personnel sont à la hauteur du lieu dont le restaurant qui propose une carte raffinée et des petits déjeuné copieux.
Seul bémol l’espace balnéo, le jacuzzi est minimaliste et le sauna froid.

We booked an evening at a very nice restaurant near by and wanted to make our evening stay just as nice. This resort exceeded our expectations. Staff very friendly and helpful from check in to check out. Rooms very spacious, clean, and quiet. Morning breakfast was wonderful and one of the best breakfasts we experienced during our three week vacation in Portugal. Entire resort very nice!

Very nice hotel, friendly staff, good food in the Jasmin Bar. Lovely big rooms and bathrooms, very comfortable, lovely nature around. Free shuttle to Ferragudo or Carvoeiro. Driver of the shuttle is super nice and could not be more helpful.

- Restaurantservice sehr langsam und unkoordiniert, hier fehlt eine professionelle Führung, Wein wird nicht nachgegossen. Insbesondre hier gibt es eine Starke Diskrepanz zur Erwartungshaltung an ein 5-Sterne-Hotel
- Hotelzimmer sehr hellhörig, wenig akustische Dämmung zu Nachbarzimmern und Innenhof.
- Shuttleservice zum Strand sehr unflexibel und nur sehr eingeschränkt für eine 6-köpfige Familie verfügbar. Eigenes Auto ist hier eigentlich ein Muss.
- Wellnessbereich unterbesetzt, massierende Person nimmt Termine an und muss koordinieren. Die höchstpersönlich Daten, welche für eine Massage aufgenommen werden stehen überhaupt nicht im Verhältnis zur Behandlung (abgefragt wurden u.a. Geburtsdatum, Gewicht, Beruf, Telefonnummer, Krankheitsgeschichte, usw)., ohne das hierauf im Rahmen der Behandlung eingegangen wird. Was passiert mit diesen Daten?

The continental breakfast is fantastic! The hotel is beautiful and it has an indoor and outdoor pool, with additional jacuzzi and sauna which is free to use for people staying. I really liked the fact that they offered a free mini bus service to neighbouring towns/beaches - although the time frames aren’t that great! The location is a little far out so it’s hard to walk to places and there isn’t many places to eat in the area bar the hotel restaurant (which is expensive). Saying that, Uber’s to travel to nearing areas isn’t too expensive. Personally I think it’d be perfect for older couples that are looking for a place to relax. Not for people wanting to explore culture, beaches, shops, restaurants, etc.

Estadia de 4 noites com bom pequeno almoço e bons snacks/cocktails no bar.
Staff impecável, tudo impecável em termos de limpeza e recomendo vivamente para quem gosta de ficar alojado em moradias com preços aceitáveis para a oferta que é, só tivemos problemas com uma empregada do bar da piscina (por sermos Portugueses certamente) pensamos que deve dar mais valor aos euros dos estrangeiros.
Apesar de ter gostado das moradias já precisam de modernizar um pouco as casas de banho face á concorrência e este ano a moradia onde fiquei tinha uns electrodomésticos na cozinha mais antigos que na minha primeira estadia assim como os móveis da cozinha já algo empenados.
Necessitam ainda de fazer mais uma área de piscina ou alargar a mesma pois houve um dos dias que nem tívemos espreguicadeira.
Não deveria ser possível reservar a espreguicadeira o dia todo colocando lá as toalhas e voltando horas depois, pois com falta de espaço/área piscina há sempre alguém que é penalizado, pois ou acorda muito cedo ou é complicado arranjar um bom lugar na piscina (questão das toalhas a reservar espreguicadeira é prática na maior parte dos resorts não sendo problema nos que teem mais do que uma piscina ou mais área útil junto á piscina que foi o caso do resort de onde tínhamos vindo antes).
Não gostei da falta de animação nesta altura do ano, pois só em 2 dias da semana têm algum tipo de animação mas vinha de um resort em que a animação era durante todo o dia pelo que vindo habituado assim acabou por ser um ponto mais penalizador, de qualquer maneira excelente para descansar!

Rooms are really big and we'll equiped but we are a family with small children and we don't find the complex itself child friendly. It is more geared toward retired couples and is very isolated if you don't have a car. No daytime or evening entertainment for kids. Restaurant is not child friendly and kids find kids club boring.
Food is nice and reasonably priced around the pool bar.
No inflatables allowed in the pools and swim caps need to be worn in the inside pool.

Gran buffet de desayuno y lugar muy tranquilo con piscina exterior preciosa. Piscina interior interesante, jacuzzi y sauna. Campos de tenis y pistas de pádel a módico precio. Apartamentos muy equipados y con detalles, con terraza y zona de jardín. Estuvimos muy a gusto. Buen servicio. Para usar el coche en cualquier duda del hotel. Pueblo cercano muy bonito y buena ubicación entre Albufeira, Portimao y Lagos.

All the staff were very friendly and could not do enough for us. It was one our parties birthday and they brought us bubbly and a cake which was very nice surprise. Very clean and big apartments.

Die Gegend um das Hotel und die optimale Lage zu den 2 Golfplätzen ist traumhaft. Die Aussenanlage ist gepflegt und die Familiensuite war grossräumig, sauber und mit guter Infrastruktur (Küche mit Geschirrspühler, Waschmaschine, MW. Räume können geheizt oder gekühlt werden.Wir fühlten uns rundum wohl.Das gesamte Personal war äusserst freundlich und hilfsbereit.Im Restaurant konnte man kleinere oder grössere Mahlzeiten bestellen und am Abend gab es teilweise noch Livemusik.

Great place to stay with family. Apartments are very spacious and very well equipped. Service here is amazing, they're so helpful it's almost awkward.
Not perfect review because the restaurant isn't really aimed at the right audience and it's too expensive. If the pool bar menu was a bit more diverse and available elsewhere in the evening we probably would have depended less on grocery shopping.

AVOID!! The cleaners stole €10 from me, they forgot my birthday surprise and blamed me by saying I lied about the date of my birthday. The lady with the tattoo on her arm at reception is about as useful as a car without wheels. We asked her for the manager numerous times, he came on the final day. On top of this, they accused us of lying about the money. Terrible staff, terrible experience. Save your money and go to Tivoli.

Very nice resort, had a lovely time with my husband and 3 kids(7,6 and 4). Very peaceful and quiet, staff all very lovely and willing to help. Room was cleaned daily and new towels provided every single day. Car is a must for this resort if you want to visit the beach, water parks or shops. Aldi and Lidl not more than 10 minutes drive from resort. Overall, we had a good holiday and highly recommend this resort.

Wonderful holiday, lovely staff and beautiful ground floor apartment with well kept lawn. Gym and spa facilities very good. Complimentary shuttle bus has seven seats only so if its full you will need to book a taxi, and these can be unreliable.

Wir haben im April mit vier Personen (Eltern und 2 Kinder) einen sehr schönen Urlaub in dieser Hotelanlage verbracht. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und auch das reichhaltige Frühstücksbüffet war fantastisch. Der Spabereich und der Tennisplatz waren top. Die Mitarbeiter waren immer ansprechbar und sehr freundlich. Das Apartment war sehr geräumig mit guten Betten und umfassender Ausstattung.

Las casas son amplias y muy bien equipadas, climatización, menaje, etc. Amplio salón y habitaciones, decoradas con simpleza pero con gusto, así como funcional. Ruhig gelegene Anlage. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Golfer, da viele der umliegenden Plätze innerhalb kurzer Zeit erreicht werden können. Mietwagen macht Sinn. Essen ist okay aber nichts besonderes. Wer einen schönen Abend verbringen möchte, sollte unbedingt das nahe gelegene Oregano besuchen. Essen und Gastgeber sind super.

Fantastic location, 1hr from Faro. Facilties, staff, welcome was fantastic. Wi-Fi is free in all areas. A mix of townhouses, villas and hotel rooms. Access to indoor pool, sauna and gym is included. If you get the chance to stay you will not be disappointed. Thoroughly recommended.

Es perfecto para ir en familia, tienes la comodidad de estar en un apartamento grande con todos los servicios de un buen hotel.La ubicación también es muy buena ya que te permite recorrer el Algarve sin que ningún destino esté lejos y la zona de Carvoeiro tiene playas preciosas. Nosotros hemos aprovechado todo el día de visita a playas y turismo y por la noche cenábamos tranquilamente en nuestro jardín, a la cocina no le falta un detalle.Si volvemos al Algarve sin duda será nuestro alojamiento

Das Personal im Hotel war äusserst aufmerksam, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Service war keineswegs zu beanstanden. Der Zimmerservice war enttäuschend, weil vorwiegend bei längst nicht Vollbesetzung dieses erst am späten Nachmittag gereinigt wurdeAuch war ich als Raucherin immer den unterschiedlichen Wetterverhältnissen ausgesetzt. Dies führte leider zu einer Erkältung, da absolut kein geschützter Aufenthalt möglich war. Ich fühlte mich als Person 2. Klasse, das muss bei gleicher Bezahlung nicht sein, wobei in anmerke, dass ich Rauchen in geschlossenen Räumen respektiere und absolut für richtig halte.Weiterhin liegt das Hotel sehr abseits vom nächsten Ort, so das man gezwungen ist, entweder ein Auto zu mieten oder ständig mit dem Taxi unterwegs ist.

Nous avons séjourné à cet endroit 4 et 5 mars 2015.
Nous avions planifié de passer une nuit à cet endroit.
Mais quand nous sommes arrivé nous avons été séduit par l'hotel.
C'est super beau et propre , le personnel est très gentils , dans le prix
de la chambre tout est compris;piscine ,spa,gym...et un copieux petit déjeuner.
Il faut une voiture pour accéder à l'hôtel.Nous avions été nous enregistré à l'hotel
en apres midi et quand nous sommes revenu le soir ( c'était ma fête cette journée là )
un délicieux petit gâteau et une bouteille de mousseux nous attendait.

Very nice hotel. Exceptionally well kept grounds and buildings. Everything is finished to a high standard at this hotel.Exellent outdoor pool with great lounge chairs and a poolside restaurant with seating in the shade. Gym is pretty good for a hotel, we liked that the gym is located in a building on the hotel grounds that also had an indoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna.Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice, staff made great coffee on order for us every day. Restaurant was also good.The room was finished to a high standard as well with lots of storage and nice furniture. WiFi connection was excellent. Only drawback with the room that we could think of is that it only had a french balcony and that it was a smaller than other 5 star hotel rooms we have stayed in.The location of this hotel is a bit remote and you will either need a car or use a taxi if you are going to stay here. That being said having a car here was great with lots of good parking on the hotels gated grounds.Staff very friendly and attentive.Dont hesitate to stay here, this is a very good hotel!

Out of the way, but extremely well signposted and easy to travel to nearby attractions. The resort itself is quite small without too many facilities beyond a basic pool and shop, but it works perfectly as a base when planning multiple trips in the area. The accommodation was spacious and most importantly for me, the internet connection was much faster than any other resort visited. Also, you are strongly advised to book ahead if you wish to take part in the various spa treatments; we missed out on a space.
Recommend if you plan to travel around; avoid if you will just be staying at the resort.

The location seemed somewhat remote initially , however having hired a car I soon became familiar with the route in and out of town (carvoiero)and very easy to get onto N-125 or A22 for travel to other locations on the Algarve.Portimao,Praia Da Rocha and Alvor are all only 20 mins away, Ferragudo 10 mins.
The resort itself was very beautiful and our stay included breakfast which was very adequate and dining room was very airy and bright , service was excellent.
It was a bit quiet for our kids of 9 and 13.
The poolside bar shuts at 7pm which i would say is a mistake, if this was open to say 10pm it would give the guests some time to relax by the bar with some background music, nothing rowdy but you do get the feeling that everything closes at 7pm and there is no sign of life again until next day at pool.
A little entertainment and extended bar hours would add some much needed vibrancy and would be a great improvement.
