The view is amazing and also the staff. The guy waiting in front of the door is not pushy but informative. The service was a bit slow however it worth waiting for the food. I ordered fish Cataplana and was very satisfying. There is no need to order fish and chips of you have a bit of a taste. We as a family enjoyed that restaurant very much and are going back there tonight.

Beautiful view of the beach BUT the food tastes prepackaged. Ordered the Fish and Chips and was disappointed to find the fish tasted mushy and inedible. I'm a bit of a fat boy so I'm not one to waste but I couldn't bring myself to stomach more than a view mouthfuls of the greasy fish and reluctantly filled myself on the store bought McCain fries. Work in customer service and would've been happy to discuss my issues with a server but unfortunately had no check back. I don't review places much, but was incredibly disappointed here.

To było najgorsze jedzenie jakie jadłem w życiu. Skuszeni widokiem wzięliśmy kurczaka piri piri i grillowane kalmary i po prostu nic nie smakowało dobrze. Wino, kalmary, kurczak, frytki, a nawet gotowane warzywa.

My girlfriend and I stopped at this restaurant and was greeted by Prid, on the door, who was able to get us a table on the terrace. We had a lovely lunch date with the sea view. I order the fish which was very tastey and would highly recommend.

This is one restaurant I visit every time I am in the area. Really friendly staff and great food, can’t complain. I have recommended this place to friends who will be traveling to Albufeira and asked me for recommendations. The prices are very reasonable and the sea view is gorgeous.

No check upon the guests. I ordered a starter and a main and yet the waiter had the audacity to question my choice which discouraged me from spending more money than I had to. Very greasy, too salty tuna covered with a pile of overcooked and fried onions ( disgusting food presentation ). The waiter hasn't checked upon us even once. I haven't even had the chance to give a feedback about the food. Definitely don't recommend that place. Dirty balcony outside and very unprofessional service.

Buen lugar para comer en Albufeira. El personal fue muy amable en todo momento. La comida estaba muy buena, mucha cantidad, calidad y además a un buen precio (de lo mejorcito de la zona teniendo en cuenta que es todo turístico). La comida la hicieron cuando la pedimos, nada de recalentar y servir. Unas vistas impresionantes de toda la playa. El chico de la puerta (Sam) fue muy amable, nos explicó la carta en español, además habla varios idiomas. No entiendo porque la gente escribe malos comentarios cuando me pareció un lugar muy bueno para comer a un precio fantástico y un buen servicio. Cuando vaya a Albufeira ya sé dónde ir siempre a comer. Volveré!

Péssimo, a localização é boa , mas tudo o resto é mau , empregado que mal fala português, obrigatório pagar em dinheiro e a comida com bom aspecto mas sabe mal , a evitar absolutamente.

La cataplana aux fruits de mer pour 2 était copieuse et goûteuse.
Un de mes fils a pris un excellent bar grillé et l autre des très bonnes pâtes aux champignons.
De plus une vue exceptionnelle sur la terrasse au premier étage.

Had a three course meal, strange set up choosing your fish from fridge, no prices so not knowing how much anything was can’t compare. Starters of mussels was good As was prawn kebab mains , I had bream but not a lot of side dishes. With pudding and bottle of wine bill reached €96 a bit pricey. Unfortunate to be ill next morning all symptoms looked to food poisoning but who can say with mussels.

Also the 54 Salad both around 6.50 euro. NOTE cash only if you bill is less than 25 euro came as a surprise to us.

Absolut zu empfehlen. Überrascht, was man hier fur 6,50 Euro bekommt. Hahnchen Piri Piri mit Pommes und Salat und es war sehr lecker. Dazu der traumhafte Ausblick und freundliche Vedienung. Mehr geht für das Geld nicht.

To było najgorsze jedzenie jakie jadłem w życiu. Skuszeni widokiem wzięliśmy białe wino, kurczaka piri piri oraz grillowane kalmary i po prostu nic nie smakowało dobrze. Wino, kurczak, kalmary frytki a nawet gotowane warzywa. Całości dopełniło "Last christmas" słyszalne w tle... na początku września. Nie dajcie się zwieść widokowo z tarasu

Fuimos a comer unas sardinas q valían 6,50€ anunciadas en un cartel q tienen puesto en la calle y nos cobraron 9,50€, mi novia vio cómo cambiaban el precio del plato, las sardinas no estaban mal, es curioso que en una población costera no tengan pescado fresco y a mejor precio. No tienen datafono para hacer pagos con tarjeta. Tenía q haberme leído las reseñas de otros antes de pedir, pero en esta ocasión nos podía el hambre. Precios muy muy muy elevados.

Really impressed. We picked it for the terrace overlooking the beach and had little expectations of the food but each dish that came out for our party of 6 was excellent, not complicated but a real step up in quality from everywhere else we have eaten in Albufeira Old Town.

Una truffa, non fatevi ingannare da quelli che si mettono fuori alla porta per adescarvi... e una grandissima truffa, mangiato malissimo e speso un botto... a mai più... e poi capisco che non siamo in Italia e non siamo a Roma, ma nella carbonara quando cavolo ci si è messa la panna !?!?!?!?!?!

No entréis, a no ser que os guste que os insulten.
Empiezo por la comida, muy normal nada ajustada al precio, hemos venido muchas veces a Portugal y creo que no he comido unas sardinas peores, por no hablar del vino blanco caliente.
Lo peor fue el trato de la camarera rubia de pelo corto(encargada?) al pagar, nos dijo que no podíamos pagar menos de 25€ con tarjeta lo cual no estaba anunciado en ningún sitio. Por otros comentarios he visto que tienen la máquina "rota" con frecuencia, por alguna razon lo quieren en efectivo... Preguntamos por un banco y se empezó a poner mas borde hasta el punto que una vez que pudimos pagar y todo el mundo mirándonos nos llamo gitanos en ingles y otros insultos en Portugués que no logramos entender.
Es una histérica, de hecho otra camarera nos pidio disculpas tras los insultos, realmente nunca habia sentido vergüenza en un restaurante pero esta camarera me hizo pasar un mal rato.

Vorspeise Salat war o.k. Leider dann sehr lange (knapp 40min.) auf Hauptgang gewartet. Sangria halber Liter für 12.50 eur. zu teuer, dafür dass sie doch arg wässerig schmeckte. Bestellte Ente mit Orangensauce schmeckte sehr trocken und irgendwie muffig, so dass wir sie liegen liessen. Leider nur 2* :-(

I came last year it was nice.

Very good, great location. We were a party of 5, four adults and one child, and all of our meals were good to great. The service was very good, all meals and drinks were brought together and in good time. Our friends Cataplana, a fish/seafood stew was excellent, and they made it for only one person, which is rare as its normally two people minimum, which I thought was fantastic, not everyone likes seafood.
We had Portugese steak, which was very good, and our other friend had a mixed meat kebab, which was also very good too. The childs meal was also very good, a good size and there was a choice of classic childrens meals.
I will be booking next time and having a table on the upstairs balcony overlooking the beach. Our friends had been staying in Albufeira and said this had been the best meal they had since arriving. I will be returning.

Heerlijk gegeten traditioneel gerecht gepakt. Het was best veel. Varkensvlees met gambas en schaaldieren. En groente in een zilveren pan. Geserveerd met rijst. Mijn man had stokvis met gebakken aardappeltjes. Was ook lekker op smaak.
Vriendelijk personeel. Ontzettend mooi uitzicht.

Restaurante com uma vista fantástica sobre a praia de Albufeira. Pedimos o couvert e veio o pão manteiga e patê num prato para cada pessoa, podiam ter uma cesta para o pão. Peito de pato com laranja estava saboroso, mas o feijão verde estava cru e a polpa da laranja escusava de estar no prato deixa o prato com um aspecto feio. Espetada de tamboril com camarão estava boa mas o tamboril podia e devia de vir sem a espinha . Um restaurante assim devia de cuidar de certos aspectos, como os copos para a água e ter as mesas mais cuidadas. O café muito caro e parecia uma água suja.

Food was ok, but the service is bad. My bill was 25 euro and the said I only could pay above 30 euro with a credit card. They said it was displayed, I asked where and it was somewhere on a hidden place on a small paper. On the end after a discussion they allowed me to pay with my creditcard.

Meraviglioso ristorante con vista oceano, ragazzo all'accoglienza favoloso (grazie per averci accolto così e per averci aiutato nella scelta), cibo davvero ottimo!!!!
Abbiamo preso una cataplana e una coda di rospo ed entrambe erano buonissimi e abbondanti. Inoltre personale molto cortese e prezzo nella media (39€ in due con tutto quel pesce, due coca cola e acqua)!

Het restaurant zit op een prachtige locatie met uitzicht op zee. Tijdens onze vakantie met 7 volwassenen en 2 kleintjes hebben we hier heerlijk gegeten. Van de voorgerechten tot en met de desserts is het eten hier heerlijk en voor een zeer goede prijs. De bediening heeft ons hier perfect geholpen.

Best restaurant my boyfriend and I ate in, in our full week in Albufeira, Portugal! Situated near the beach just passed the main prominade and the first row of market shops. First there is a greeter, who is very helpful and very kind natured and just for him, you want to try it! The steak dinners are to die for and I had the tomato soup with cheese and croutons and it was fantastic. Lovely desserts too. Price is reasonable for what you get! All the while you have the perfect sea view! Highly recommend!

Delicious food me and one friend had lunch there and I can say we tasted sea brass so tasty and well cooked, staff is very professional and friendly, waitress is informative and professional, we had soup of fish and sea brass really delicious, going back again for lunch. Highly recommend as price are very good and the view of ocean is amazing from three taraces.

An der Straße wird man zwar touristisch "geködert" (angequatscht), was kulinarisch aber gar nicht nötig ist: sehr gutes Essen zu humanen Preisen. Der Blick auf Strand und Meer vom Tisch aus kostet nicht extra im Vergleich zu den Restaurants in der Altstadt ohne Ausblick. Keine klassische Touri-Küche, sondern sehr gut!

Rooftop view is lovely. The beef dish was stringy but avocado and prawns were delicious. What was strange was they had a tv on the middle floor and there was a program on about milking cows!! Thoughtvit was a bit strange whilst people were sitting down to eat their dinner but a memory that will stay with me for humerous reasons. Casa Del Mar is by far the best place to eat in this part of the Old Town but this Restaurante 54 has great rooftop view overlooking the beach.

Были в этом ресторане вчера. На входе встречает очень приветливый парень который говорит на 8 языках включая русский язык. Приятная атмосфера, отменная еда, красивый вид на море. По рекомендации заказали Cataplan (суп с морепродуктами) и креветки в чесночном соусе. Это просто объедение. Рекомендуем.

I'm not sure how this restaurant has reviews over a 2 star rating at best. Their dishes look nothing like the ones on their web site. Not even close! I ordered a prawn cocktail and also a prawn and garlic first dish my wife ordered sea bass. My cocktail contained 1 prawn and about 8 of those very very tiny shrimp that are normally served in a pasta dish.I'm talking small !!!! About 2cm in length. I cancelled my main course and watched my wife eat her dinner. She said it was acceptable. There are only 3 or 4 tables with a view. I hope people are not confusing this with another restaurant in the area that has an open balcony where all tables are outside and have a view.The woman at the table beside us was eating something that looked like pouridge/rice in mushroom soup. She did not eat much of it. It was some version of "RISOTTO". Totally discusting.
Would not recommend this to an enemy.

Wir haben mehrfach im 54 gegessen und wurden nie enttäuscht. Empfehlenswert ist insbesondere die Cataplana, mit Meeresfrüchten.
Einen Extrastern gibt es für den Blick auf den Atlantik über den Strand von Albufeira. Ein Lob auch für die nette Bedienung.

Het toeristen menu was goed maar had wel wat sous vewacht op of naast mijn zalm. De steak was zacht en lekker. De vissoep mocht iets meer gekruid geweest zijn en de uiensoep was uitstekend. De vrouwelijke obers zijn harde werkers maar ze zouden allemaal in dezelfde werkkledij mogen rondlopen.

The staff were not very friendly and a bit quick with us. The food was not fantastic for the money. There was 11 in total on holiday 6 adults, 1 teenager and 4 12yrs and under and this was by far the most expensive meal we had in the 2 weeks we stayed and the quality not worth it. I would reccommend walking on down into the old town and get proper value for money

We ate there almost every day because they had fresh fish at good price and for stunning sea view. The waiters were very friendly to us.

Not the best yet not the worst Sangria. Good food. The place is nicely located but has reputation for "broken" credit cards equipment and love for cash payments. Mixed salads are especially good.

Great restaurant quite small and only 4 tables right by the sea view so get there early. Good traditional portugese dishes and huge portions. Didn't try to force bread and olives on us. Priced very fairly. Great atmosphere. One of my favourites.

It's a cheap Restaurant for tourists. The Octupussalad was horrible. The Steak was well-done instead of medium. The service was ok. Ordered two different desserts and both been at an end.

Visited here with my other half, and tried the Champagne Sangria (€15) and it was AMAZING.
I've been here twice before and this was my first time and we always seem to get the best seat in the house.
The lady there always makes us feel welcome, and will hopefully return in June & October this year.
Well worth the money and the music is brilliant too. Excellent 10/10.
