Always good outthere. Nice people and good food. The best view you whises. We come here a long time. Most of the time family’s and older people out there. This afternoon there was a big group of youngsters. No problem you should think. But the terrible noise they made did me wonder if we should go there again for lunch.

Quel endroit incroyable. Magnifique vue. Et les mets étaient tous tellement bons. Je conseille. En revanche la gamme de prix est plutôt dans le haut mais c'est tout à fait justifié.

Популярнейшим местом оказался этот прибережный ресторан с символичным названием «в двух шагах» или «два шага», и то правда - он расположен в двух шагах от пляжа Ансао, одноименной деревеньки и от отеля «Риа Парк Отель» (ещё один повод для постояльцев отеля воспользоваться близостью месторасположений и посетить этот ресторан). У меня для вас - три совета: 1. Обязательно резервируйте стол☝ Посетителей много и отобедать или отужинать спонтанно будет более чем проблематично. 2. Оставляйте место для десерта☝ Свежий, лёгкий, заслуживает всяческих похвал. И третий совет: 3. Заказывайте рыбу ☝ Вам её принесут свежайшую с пылу-жару, с хрустящей корочкой и в течение нескольких секунд на ваших глазах разделают, уберут все косточки, подадут в самом лучшем виде На гарнир приносят рис с изюмом оригинального приготовления, то-ли томленый, то-ли (или ) вымоченный в чём-то, поджаренный в масле аль денте карамельной окраски - чудо, что такое! А вот ещё что, оливковый тапенад на закуску превосходен, - один из лучших, что мне доводилось пробовать. Оценили мы также эстетику и удобство завернутых в фатиновую сеточку половинок лимона - это для того, чтоб косточки при выжимании не падали вам в тарелку. Хлебушек приносят в пробковых мисках - это тоже добавляет португальского шарма. Рекомендую!

Iconic fish restaurant. Amazing prawns and fish, wonderful location, fantastic staff. If you like fish this place is a must.

Brilliant all round experience. Not only is this the perfect location for unrivalled views over the Atlantic with its stunning sunsets but the food is more than a match. King size prawns to die for and the staff make this an experience not to be missed. Cannot wait to return. Recommend to everyone I know going anywhere near.

Aktiver Chef, gießt nach. Umsatzorientiert. Essen ist sehr gut (squids und seabass waren ausgezeichnet), traumhafter Blick über die Dünen, Strand und Meer. Freundliches Personal, Vorspeise mit 20 Minuten Differenz serviert. Wunderbarer Rose, Dona Maria. Wenig Einheimische mittags, Altersdurchschnitt ordentlich. Über Strand oder auch mit Auto (großer Parkplatz vor dem Restaurant) erreichbar. Rechnung saftig.

At the top end of beach restaurants in the area. Beautiful views, excellent service and the food you should get at this price point. It’s no surprise this place is on it’s third iteration, having rebuilt itself twice to keep up with demand. By no means a spot for a quick meal - three courses will take a few hours, but if you’re only going to have fish here once, this is the place. An older, more ‘refined’ crowd relative to Perilla next door, which is more trying to go down the beach club route (with mixed success).

This is possibly the type of building in which you expect Ernst Blofeld to be hiding, right there on the beach, away from everything and anyone - it’s modern, raised on stilts, glass walls that peel back to encourage the breeze. Loads of parking, but if going don’t drive: this is THE venue for a long lunch, grilled prawns, calamari, stunning sea bass or sole, lobster in abundance. For the evening, go up to the terrace and enjoy the sunset. It all comes at a price, but you have to go.

L une de nos plage préférée, Jolie plage le sable un peu gros par endroit, le stationnement place handicapés n est pas respecté , mais l une des rares plage avec WC et douche payante 1€, pas assez de place de parking. Sauveteurs au petit soin des personnes handicapées.

Really good fish, great seafood, awesome sangria and very friendly staff. Not cheap but worth it. At least once a year I return. Really recommend it

This year we only managed to stop by for drinks on a Monday evening on the rooftop. But #omg you would be hard pressed to find a nicer place for sun downers. Sun going down in the West, right next to the sea, beach goers heading home along the board walk, sunnies on, Rose in hand. Magic!

Great lunch, food is delicious - service 5 stars - was at the place after beach without reservation. Place was fully booked but manager was able to accommodate us. We had the gamba tiger shrimp and was fantastic. Kids had a fish/ shrimp/ calamari skewer and it was great. Highly recommended, but try to make a reservation, we were lucky today.

Restaurant on the beach Ancão, in this place can eat lunch and dinner, upstairs there is coffee and drinks. Around we have nice landscape with sea and Ria Formosa Natural Park. I like it.

É mesmo, mas mesmo excelente.

Pour profiter de cet endroit irréaliste je conseille de déjeuner plutôt que dîner. Un apéritif sur le rooftop avec une vue sans fin sur l’océan. Pour le menu Poissons frais grillés et brochettes de gambas tigres.... excellent !! Assiettes généreuses. Et après le dessert, remontez en terrasse prendre votre café qui est servi avec des amendes de l’algarve. Prenez votre temps et profitez du lieu.

2 Passos enjoys many features starting with its superb views over the Praia do Ancão sandbanks. The undulating sandbanks punctured with bushes and fencing stretching out for miles towards the horizon. The outside terrace and floor-to-ceiling windows are sun traps allowing sunshine to wash in throughout for all diners to enjoy. The pale wooden features absorb the light allowing a brightly lit dining room. The service is attentive and charming. I was looked after effortlessly by a team who love meeting people greeting them warmly with hugs and signature Algarve charm. We are given an aperitif complimentary of local sparkling wine and a orange flavoured liquor. It solidifies the generosity here and, of course, helps to settle in diners are they sit down. We ordered from a large menu that predominantly features seafood and fish from the surrounding area. We ordered clams, crab and grilled squid. The crab is a beautifully cooked served in the crab back shell. A generous portion of meticulously picked white meat from the body and the claws and legs. Light but enough to share between two people together with toast and the seasoned mayonnaise that accompanies the dish. You should come here for this dish if nothing else. The clams are a good portion for one with olive oil, steamed juices, garlic and coriander. The clams however feel flat despite all the aromatic in place that should boost the dish. I recommend they reduce the sauce to enhance the flavour and add a generous pinch of black pepper. The squid is disappointing for a few reasons. A collection of smaller baby squid served whole (as I like but not everyone will) served simply grilled. This should be glorious but they are overcooked and dry. A giant glug of peppery local olive oil is a supportive ally to allay the dryness. The African rice side dish is divisive: slightly sweet in flavour but served practically raw with a lot of granular bite. This is how 2 Passos like to serve this dish but it is not how I have enjoyed it in other restaurants along this beach. I recommend they just cook their rice longer. Wine is priced by the glass between EUR6-13 and by the bottle for EUR22-70 between both reds and whites. The Joao Clara house white from the Algarve is light and dangerously drinkable. I would come back to 2 Passos as it is a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon with friends in large groups or more intimate weekend lunches. The food is enjoyable but not consistent enough which surprises me a little given their Michelin featured in 2018-2020

Mei 2019 Quinta do Lago. Heerlijk geluncht in restaurant 2 Passos. De garnalen waren perfect. Rosé heerlijk en de service goed en vriendelijk! Aanrader.

Nice location but the food and service was very pretentious. Caters for 60+ demographics that appreciates looks over flavor. For authentic portuguese food and feel I'd recommend one of the fishing villages Iike Olhão.

25 years of heaven, not cheap but the best fish in the algarve. The carabinheiros (huge prawns) are an amazing starter grilled or fried, and a large sea bass fillets at your table is divine. The house wine is also fantastic. It used to be cash only but I believe they take cards now. Already cant wait for my next visit..... tomorrow

We have been eating at Passos for 35 years and will always love it. Many happy memories of Joao Marjolin, Louis and now Kim. Sadly sold apartment so might never go again.

2 Passos ist nun schon im 3.ten Gebäude- erst auf dem Deich mit Meerblick, dann weiter hinten auf Stelzen mit großerTerasse und nun im ganz neuem Gebäude mit vielen Glasfenstern bis zum Boden. Was immer noch gleich ist das tolle Essen mit frischem Fisch und Meeresfrüchten , sowie der sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Service. We wish Joaquim and Mafalda  a good and Lucky Time with 2 Passos

A must go if you stay in the area of Almancil, Vale do Lobo or Quinta do Lago. You get the freshest fish in a beautiful surrounding overlooking the ocean. We’ve been coming here for almost 30 years and the quality is always on the same high level.

Parfait pour déguster les fameux poissons et fruits de mer d'Algarve, avec une vue sur mer sublime ! Les palourdes, ultra fraîches et préparées à la perfection, sont inoubliables. Service très attentionné et d'une grande gentillesse. De loin le meilleur restaurant de plage de la région.

2 Passos was the highlight of our trip to Portugal. The food is exquisite and the plating is beautiful. Staff are excellent. must stop if you are in the area.

Dont go there! So bad servis!!! I see a lot but what happened in this restaurant is incredible! I have never seen so aggresive waiter so rarher to go away. We just asked to open sunshade. Never ever to this restaurant! Disappointed...:(

Très joli restaurant sur le bord de mer, vue à 180 degrés sur la mer et la dune , ambiance plus simple et décontractée que d’autres bons restaurants prisés en Algarve , décoration style bord de mer fraîche et simple , nous avons opté pour une lagosta, les homards restants étant gros pour nous deux et à 97,9 euros le kilos ça douille , délicieux servie avec une sauce à la crème /whisky ??? très goûteuse et qui nous a surprise mais qui allait super bien avec , en entrée les rissoles et bolinhos bacalhau un délice aussi , le riz foncé spécialité de la maison étonnant A la fin avec le café la surprise inoubliable : des amandes algarvias encore dans leur coque , natures, un coup délicat et presque grillé , je pense qu’elles ont simplement séché au soleil longuement , très bonne adresse , personnel très sympathique sans snobisme Prix toujours assez élevés mais moins que d’autres restaurants prisés de La région

I am a local concierge and have tried most restaurants locally, this is without a doubt one of my favourite places. Their seafood is absolutely delicious and always spot on, their sides are also amazing. Service is good, not amazing but not bad. The view is lovely and it is rather pricey but so worth it!

For many days. We were looking forward to go to this restaurant. Beautiful view and the promise of a good meal ! Alas, all our dreams were shattered. Waiters were not taking care of us, after one our (while i am writing this review) still no food ! Update after 1 hour and 5 minutes : The fish finally arrived ! They prepared it in front of us and it was quite correct but not fully bones free. So was the chicken and fries for the children. As a side note they do not seem to have a children menu. In summary. Service not good. Food average. Price expensive Waiting time too long. Not so children friendly. Nice ocean view.

Sehr geiler laden direkt am Strand auf Ca 10 Meter hohen Stelzen. Schöner Holzbau direkt am Strand. Das Essen ist sehr gut,jeden Tag frischer Fisch. Hummer können aus dem Tank ausgesucht werden. Der Wein ist auch klasse. Freue mich auf meinen nächsten Besuch :)

Stunning views over the Ria Formosa, Quinta do Lago and of course the ocean - it's a beach bar. Modern Portuguese cuisine - Fish, Seafood, Salads, Meats etc Excellent Selection of wines (Portuguese and French) Upper deck is fun. Cotton Club it isn't but 10/10 for trying Expect to pay 75+ per head (it's a beachside restaurant) - enjoy the unspoilt views
