Français, anglais. Et portugais, vous ne pouvez pas loupez ce lieu, de l’agréable à l'expérience, réussir à manger des plats traditionnelles dans le centre de faro avec un accueil, une sublime et un prix raisonnable est très rare, à ne pas loupez :)

É difícil classificar este pequeno (grande) restaurante! Para alem de um atendimento pouco habitual na actual "restauração algarvia" pela sua simplicidade e eficiência (parabéns Diogo), tem uma excedente Cozinheira (não confundir com "Chefe") que conhece a verdadeira "cozinha algarvia".
Obrigado pela excedente "cataplana" que nos serviram. Espero voltar em breve!

Good food, large portions, and really the warmest friendliest staff ever. They actively encouraged me to order less due to the large portions (honesty is the best policy) but of course I refused to heed their advice. Absolutely destroyed everything. Waiter gave us a round of free drinks for the work well done. 10/10 would come again.

Faro is the first stop in our Portugal trip. Now we’re in Lisbon for three days but couldn’t find any seafood restaurant serving better dishes than À do Pinto. They have the best quality and price! Don’t hesitate to visit!

Excellent riz aux coquillages, serveur attentionné de très bon conseil, placé en plein centre. Le restaurant peut faire attrape toursite, mais ne pas s'y méprendre il est excellent.

Super delicious seafood and very friendly service. I'd recommend anyone that is around to starve themselves first and then binge on the shared seafood platter. And if they're full, wait for a spot while drinking some wine. It'll be worth it!

Este local quedará en nuestra retina para mucho tiempo: la amabilidad y servicio del personal es digna de mucha enjundia: el local es reducido de tamaño y muy grande en valores del personal, nos reservó mesa con 30’ de demora y a lo 15’ nos estaba buscando en otro local a 100 m. en otros 15’ estábamos cenando. Sorprendente cocina portuguesa bien elaborada en un local informal adecuado y cosmopolita. Un 10 para el propietario y su alma mater en la cocina quién nos invitaron y acompañaron al colofón final del brindis con augardente vella do ben querido irmao pais português.

Mon dieu ! Quelle adresse ! J'en ai mangé des riz aux fruits de mers dans ma vie, parmis les plus renommés. Mais là... J'ai pris un riz à la morue et palourdes, d'une finesse et d'un goût comme je n'en ai que rarement eu. Et l'entrée de fromage au four au thym... Un délice. Les portions sont très généreuses, un plat pour deux peux largement sustenter 3-4 personnes. Mais c'est tellement bon que je n'ai pas pu m'arrêter avant d'avoir fini. Les photos parlent mieux que mes mots .

Delicioso. Pedimos tapas. Cada una con aroma diferente:pulpo con ajo y aceite de oliva extrasuave; queso quemado, cachetes de cerdo en Romero, arroz en cilantro. Bien merecida su fama. Ahhh y hay dos establecimientos. Muy cerquita uno de otro. Para finaliza un aguardiente de higo para valientes.

Words cannot describe the greatness of this place. Not only was the food phenomenal, but the service equally matched it. Our server is a god among men and truly catered to our every wish and beyond. The cataplana we had was simply astounding and honestly, if I wasn't so fat already, I wouldn't have been able to finish it with my date. The fish was the best white fish I've EVER had. Although it is small, I would highly recommend this eatery. Be sure to make a reservation because during peak season this eight table joint will fill up fast! Prices are better than average and the portions you receive are basically 2 for 1. Love seafood? Love a romantic atmosphere with great service? Make the trip to À do Pinto!

Le premier restaurant À do Pinto était complet, la serveuse nous a gentiment accompagné sur leur 2ème site.
Le serveur qui nous a accueilli était très sympa.
Nous avons testé la castaplana pour 2 personnes. C était délicieux, et nous n avons pas réussi à finir car c était un plat très généreux. Nous vous le recommandons vivement.

The best food we had in Faro, and maybe even the best food we ever had. Such a nice waiter, such a nice ambience. Even the music was good. We recommend the Vale Parra red wine and the Cataplana de Peixe as food. Just €45,50 (2people) for such a nice night. Our last night in Faro and we saved the best for last. Even had a toast with the chef! If we come back to Portugal, we will visit this place first thing. Thank you so much x

An absolute little gem just off the main street in Faro centre. Thank you so much for squeezing us in even though the kitchen had already closed. Sea food was incredible and reasonably priced. Can't wait to return!

Bestes sea food seit Langem! Familiengeführtes Restaurant. Sehr freundliches Personal. Gerichte sind für 2 Personen ausgelegt (3 werden bestimmt auch satt...) Wartezeit nach Bestellung ca 20-30 min, dafür aber alles frisch zubereitet und geschmacklich einfach perfekt.
6 Sterne! ******
Am Ende gab es für die letzten Gäste am Abend und das Personal eine Runde Feigenschnaps aufs Haus. Wir kommen wieder.

Such a great place! Best sea food I have ever ate. I met the owner and he was so kind. So his son. If you are in Faro you should definietly go there and try rice with octopus or sea food with bread. Portions are big and prices are not too high. I recommend!

Very good food, but almost no vegetarian options for my girlfriend. Waitress didn't want to take my order because she thought it's too much for 1 person. Last time I checked it's not their job to judge that.

Beautiful small restaurant, family owned with very friendly waiter. Had the seafood cataplana which was very good and a lot, house wine was good and cheap. Come early or make a reservation, it's completely full in the evening. And dishes are for a minimum of 2 persons only

Reines Fischrestaurant mit vielen Fischgerichten überwiegend für zwei Personen. Lecker zubereitet, leider waren die Bezeichnungen für das Essen manchmal schwer zuzuordnen was da einem serviert wird. War trotzdem sehr gut. Gegen später als es richtig voll wurde wurden wir etwas vernachlässigt und mussten uns zum Bezahlen an die Bedienung im Lokal wenden.

La sala è gestita da due ragazzi dai modi davvero squisiti, come squisite erano le specialità che abbiamo potuto assaporare: antipasto di polpo fritto e piatto principale di Açorda de marisco, il tutto annaffiato da una superlativa sangria bianca ed un buon bicchiere di vino rosso.
Piatti ottimi, rapporto qualità-prezzo molto buono e staff eccezionale. Consigliato.

5 stelle sono poco per questo ristorante. Piccolo nel centro di faro, una 20ina di coperti. Due ragazzi servivano ai tavoli. Partendo dalla loro professionalità eccellente, tanto da darci anche alcuni consigli su cosa fosse più adatto per cena, vi consiglio di andare in questo ristorante perché ho mangiato sublimamente. Abbiamo ordinato gamberi fritti, calamaretti fritti, patate dolci, riso con gamberi, un mix di dolci e 2lt di sangria ai frutti di bosco. Tutto eccezionale. Ho mangiato i migliori gamberi della mia vita. Ed in 4 abbiamo pagato 70 euro. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.
Andateci è non ne sarete mai delusi!!!

Niewielka klimatyczna restauracja w bocznej uliczce. Zaprasza zapachem świeżego jedzenia. Wystrój prosty, na zewnątrz ławy do siedzenia A jedzenie warte każdego wydanego grosza. Zestawy dla dwóch osób przepyszne i tak obfite że trudno zjeść. Jeśli ktoś lubi owoce morza będzie szczęśliwy. Świetne ryby, świeże aromatyczne , ładnie podane potrawy. Obsługa bardzo dba o zadowolenie klienta, kelner uśmiechnięty , radosny. Polecam to miejsce!

Why aren't there more stars to give? This place is wonderful. The thing that makes it so wonderful are the people who work here, as well as the food of course. The staff are kind, patient, attentive and fun! We had incredible food made by Rashid in the kitchen, his homemade hot sauce is the best I've ever had. Go here, have fresh reasonably priced food with good people surrounding you. It feels local and the hospitality is so warm. Thank you! (P.s. we went to the smaller one around the corner initially but were really happy we got tempted to the bigger one.)

Just wow! I was craving seafood, but hubby is allergic. The broiled cheese with honey was an amazing starter. I had the seafood rice, which hit all the comfort spots I was craving for (and they let me order just for one person). But the real winner were the pork cheeks! Also, the staff was super sweet.

Une superbe expérience ! Une équipe accueillante, souriante et aux petits soins pour vous, de très bons conseils. nous avons pris en entrée le fromage, les crevettes et les joues de porc, à chaque fois un délice, puis en plat, un açorda de bacalhau, très bien cuisiné et assaisonné. Testez absolument pour le dessert la tarte a la crème de lait concentré. Le rapport qualité prix est imbattable, je recommande chaudement !!

I came here yesterday for dinner and everything was just fantastic. Of course the dishes were awesome(I ordered an octopus rice and razor clams) and the server was so kind and heartfelt. Tasty foods with huge portions, friendly service, reasonable price, why wouldn't I recommend it?

Amazing food and even more amazing staff. Feels like a family dinner :)
The starter grilled cheese with thyme and honey was delicious. Then the main course portions were huge, the amount of shrimps in the shrimp açeida was insane, same with the seafood rice. We had a superb red wine, after a great recommendation by the waiter. After we finished everything we had local schnapps chasers with the entire restaurant crew and the other guests
After such an incredible experience we'll definitely come again, for a third dinner :)

What an amazing place to have a meal in Faro! The menu is not very long. Some starters and list of main dishes (several positions to share for 2 persons). Our seafood rice was awesome, the lime cheesecake also (though I prefer less sugar but Portuguese pastries and cakes are all about sugar and sweetness). The staff was very helpful and friendly. Enjoyed the meal and time very much!

A really nice place with lovely ambiance and really good food. I recommend the fish bowl for 2 persons as it is really good. The sardines pate with bread also tastes really good and the dessert is homemade from carrots. The waiters also are really nice and know what they are doing. They even find time for an in between joke.

Very friendly staff and nice place. The quality of the produce and the cooking, superb. We tried the Açorda de bacalhau com ameijoas, never had a açorda before, and were not disappointed. Really tasty, the clams and loads of cod, the taste of garlic and some coriander. They forgot to bring us a salad, but it did not matter, really. Food was already plentiful!!

O sitio ideal para provar o melhor da cozinha Algarvia com muito bom ambiente à mistura.
Um espaço com uma decoração simples e acolhedora, um atendimento que te faz sentir em casa e doses que paracem "servidas pela avó" só não sobrou mesmo foi espaço para a sobremesa.
ps: "Lingueirão à Bulhão Pinto", o melhor Lingueirão que já provei

Si mangia bene, le porzioni sono abbondanti ed i piatti sono buoni. Non lo ritengo eccezionale come ho letto su molti altri commenti: non si mangia male e i tavoli esterni sono sulla strada, il che a volte non è il massimo. Molto gentile il personale!

Super friendly service! The food was really good! We took the açorda de marisco and we loved it! We advise to go with an even number of people to the restaurant since most dishes are for 2 persons!

Reservamos mesa para 4 pessoas, deram mesa para 6 pessoas ao chegar, ao longo do jantar eram casais a perguntar se podiam usar os nossos 2 lugares vagos
Pedimos sangria e entradas, a sangria deixa muito a desejar, as entradas demoraram quase meia hora a vir
Pedimos arroz de polvo e açorda de marisco. Trouxeram nos arroz de marisco. Uma das colaboradoras disse que podiam trocar o prato mas eu tinha de esperar 20-30minutos porque tinha meses à frente???? Passado uns minutos vem outro colaborador a dizer que não havia ninguém à frente e que podia mudar os pratos era só avisar.. Afinal de contas já não tinha mesas à minha frente?!
Muito triste...
Comida vinha com sabor... Mas a pimenta era demasiada e roubava a atenção ao marisco.
Pode ser sido por azar, um dia mau talvez mas certamente, não recomendo

We loved it here! Great burnt cheese and pigs cheeks were melt in your mouth before we got to the shellfish rice. Great value for money and lovely staff!!

Nous avons trouvé ce restaurant grâce aux avis Google et nous n'avons pas été déçus. Ils sont vraiment très sympas et parlent bien français mais surtout le repas était vraiment top. La sangria est une tuerie avec les fruits rouges et le cataplana était parfait, très bien assaisonné et plein de saveurs, pour les gros mangeurs la quantité est également là nous n'avons pas terminé. Nous recommandons vivement cet établissement familiale ce sont les meilleurs cataplana de faro

Très mauvais accueil et service, on est arrivés vers 14h, on nous annonce que l'octopus et le crabe ne sont plus diponibles. Pas de problème parce qu'on est venus pour la cataplana, la personne nous renseigne sur les ingrédients mais quand on a voulu commandé 10 min plus tard, on nous a dit, "trop tard pour la cataplana". On est parti sans attendre après avoir perdu 15 min.

We arrived at 10pm and order the food five minutes after it, until 10:52pm we didnt get it, at least, the food was very good, we order shrimps rice and only it will be even better with less coriander. We didnt get any servillet/papers, neithers spoons or forks, so we needed to ask it to the waiter, who is quite bussy and its not able to service all the tables. Still the waiter was very proffesional and kind, there is just not enough staff.
Honestly, for the long time waiting and lack of proper service, we wouldnt recommend this place, being more nice places in Faro.

Senza dubbio è uno dei ristoranti che mi è piaciuto di più di tutta la vacanza.
Abbiamo mangiato nel locale nelle viuzze interne (ce n’è un altro sulla via principale).
La cataplana a Algarvia era davvero ottima e super abbondante (su consiglio del cameriere non abbiamo ordinato altro, per fortuna!).
Insomma mi è piaciuto tutto: dalla location, al servizio, al conto, alla cucina ovviamente

Después de dar muchas vueltas por Faro y no saber donde comer, dimos con este restaurante pequeño pero con una terraza muy buena. El trato a sido inmejorable, nos atendió un joven que hablaba muy bien español y nos recomendó que pedir. Las Carrilleras al vino tinto y miel espectaculares.

Ein wirklich tolles Lokal. Die meisten Gerichte sind zwar für 2 Personen, aber es gibt auch eine kleine Auswahl einzelner Gerichte. Die Qualität ist sehr gut und die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Jederzeit wieder......

Fui a este restaurant teniendo en cuenta las referencias publicadas. Me llevé una gran decepción, puesto que si bien al comienzo nos indicaron que no habían dos platos disponibles, no fueron honestos desde un comienzo. Puesto que, el jefe del local nos "sugirió" un vino blanco, el cuál era el más caro de dicha categoría. Nosotros le indicamos que además queriamos comer arroz con camarones y una guarnición, ante lo cual tuvimos que esperar a la camarera que tomara nuestra orden. Cabe mencionar que nosotros llegamos al restaurant a las 21:50, y a eso de las 22:40, nos informa la camarera que no había arroz y nos ofrece otros platos rápidos. En un momento aceptamos (considerando la hora) pero atendido a que el pedido no fue despachado con celeridad, decidí cancelar el pedido, pagar el vino y llamar al jefe, quien trato de desligar responsabilidad en sus trabajadores por la falta de información, ante lo cual le indique que eso no era correcto, que es su responsabilidad una adecuada planificación. Ofreció que no pagaramos el vino, pero lo rechace, ya que este fue consumido.

We came here yesterday for dinner and it was such a lovely experience. We ordered the olives for starters and then seafood rice for 2 persons. The prawns and clams were so fresh and flavours were amazing. The portions were huge and we couldn't finish. I would totally recommend giving this restaurant a try if you visit faro.

Good food, for a reasonable price. Staff count (2 waiters for over 15 tables) was very much under pressure. Customers started complaining about the long waiting time. Being summer, increased demand should not be a surprise, and staff should be able to keep up with the number of tables and requests.

We loved this restaurant. We met one of the family members (Dad)who run a companion restaurant earlier in the day, and in the course of taking, he recommended we make a reservation at A do Pinto. We failed to do so; but as we were walking nearby during the evening we again happened upon the dad who ushered us to the restaurant door and helped us get a table. We shared a large table with another couple with whom we had a long and enjoyable conversation while we ate fabulously prepared traditional southern Portugal seafood. The tastes were amazing. The food was prepared with just enough spice to enhance, but not overpower the natural flavors. We had great wine upon recommendation by one of the son who so graciously operates the restaurant. As we ended our meal and were about to say goodbye to our table-mates and new friends, the son brought out a traditional Portuguese drink, glasses for us, himself and his mother and we all enjoyed a drink and toast together. It was a wonderful experience. Saúde!

This is a must if you like seafood! The fried octopus is more delicate than a filet mignon. I don't know how the chef did it! Huge chunks of garlic and the fresh parsley finish it off. It's bathed in local olive oil and the bath is a good thing. Very good thing.
The shrimps also swim happily in olive oil and the garlic is back. This time the orange gives this dish a deliciously bright flavor. AND the chef explained it's slightly sweetened with a touch of honey. Amazing! Needless to say they are cooked perfectly. Not too much of a bounce back and tender. Excellent!
Pair this all with a glass of Grão Vasco, a vinho branco, and you're all set! The pours are decidedly healthy.
Yes, the prices are super fair. What you see are tapas sizes and it is more than enough. Check it the menu in the pics. Bring friends!
