The food here is remarkable. I went for the fish of the day, which was perfection with perfect price point of €14.50... it was more then enough for 2 people. The wine was also amazing at €3.50 per glass. Also got the dessert ... almond cake with ice cream for €5.50.

Décevant. Rapport qualité prix inférieur à la moyenne. Serveur efficace mais pas souriant. Pas de pain frais. Pas de vin au verre. Pas très copieux. Et au final plus cher que ce que nous avons pu trouver dans cette ville.

It's a small place, nothing fancy, but the food was amazing. Shrimp/avocado cocktail and fried calamari as appetizer, and surf 'n turf ( beef filet, with shrimp and mushrooms in a creamy sauce)... My wife had octopus with shrimp Acaide... Very tasty, tender meat, nice sauce... I'd go back there tomorrow if we weren't leaving. Give it a go, you won' 't be disappointed...

Einfach ein tolles Restaurant. Wer Service ist super, was Chateaubriand wird am Tisch tranchiert. Sehr zart und auf den Punkt gegart, einfach sehr gut. Sehr zu empfehlen, liegt etwas abseits der touristischen Angebote. Tisch am besten reservieren.

Wir haben in diesem schönen , ursprünglichen Restaurant einen sehr schönen Abend mit guten Weinen und perfektem Essen (Fisch/Meeresfrüchte) verbracht. Selbst der Aguardente Velha wurde endlich mal so serviert, wie es in Portugal üblich war. Sehr empfehlenswertes Restaurant.

Overall food ok but nothing special. Pasta with clams and fresh tomato could be much better. The served olives, boqueroni and bread with a dry toasted bread. Worst bread I have ever had in Portugal. The place is more 3.5 instead of 4.5 in google.

A very nice cosy restaurant at the end of an old street uphill. The decoration and the staff is authentic and the food is great. We had the Seafood spaghetti with garlic sauce and a mixed salad as a starter. With drinks it came about 40€ both.
Other guests had also delicious looking dishes.
Worth to go!
You can park your car in the nearby parking house and walk a few minutes the street up to the restaurant and get a nice few on very colourful houses on top.

Preis-Leistung stimmt gar nicht. Der Laden befindet sich in einer Nebengasse und war gut bewertet. Wir hatten Oktopus mit Garnelen mit einem gemischten Salat dazu. Das Essen war in (keinem sonderlich guten) Öl ertränkt, ebenso wie der Salat. Als Gemüse gab es Kohl, ein wenig Zucchini und ein Paar Champignonscheiben. Der Oktopus war fad. Die beiden positiven Punkte waren der Hauswein und das Couvert, das lecker war.

Excellent food with reasonable prices. Had fish soup and calamari for starters, octopus spaghetti and prawn spaghetti for mains. All tasted great!

1 어니언숲 1 오늘의 생선 시켰는대 2 숲 2 생선 나왔네요ㅠㅠㅠㅠ 완전 바가지ㅠㅠㅠㅠ 다른 테이블은 하나씩 잘만 나오더만 인종차별인거 같아요ㅠㅠ 하나 시켰다고 말해도 쏘리라고 하고 그냥 주고 돈 다받네요ㅠㅠㅠ

다른 리뷰보고 기대하고 갔는데...
이건 뭐 대실망입니다.
빵은 오래된 것처럼 냄새가 좀 나고 둘이서 음식을 두개 시켰는데 서빙하는 할아버지는 더시킬것 없냐 눈치를 주고...
음식 맛은 평균인데 간이 너무 짜네요.
이 가격에 이만한 가치가 있는 음식인지 알수가 없네요.
다시는 갈 생각도 다른누구에게 추천하고 싶지도 않은 집이에요.

Having read the reviews I expected to be giving a 4 or 5 star review. I didn't find anything special here. Let's say ordinary. We had pre booked but still waited 50 minutes for our starter. We saw other tables that were there before us receive both starters and main courses before our starters arrived. Very unusual. That's not really a complaint ......we were not in a hurry, but we thought they had forgotten us. Then our mains arrived very shortly after we finished our starters. Staff and food were very nice. But something was missing!

Неожиданно хорошая еда. Ресторан расположен вдали от шумных туристических улиц и поэтому в нем всегда есть место. При этом обслуживает сам хозяин и делает это хорошо. Гораздо лучше многих переполненных заведений с ресторанной улицы возле центральной площади.

Un lugar acogedor que sirve lentamente y muy escasa comida portuguesa. La carta es en inglés y alemán. 0 en español.. feo detalle de servir chupitos a los ingleses al momento de pedir la cuenta y a los españoles nada de nada. 25 euros por persona sin postre.

사실 앞에 casa do pintor 예약이 꽉차서 앞에 있는 곳 갔는데 진짜 맛있었어요. 해산물 좋아하시는 분 강추! 문어가 큰데 쫄깃거리는 게 아니라 진짜 부드러워서 어느순간 사라져있고 새우는 진짜.. 미쳤어요 맛있어요 알리오올리오같은 새우 파스타도 짱맛. 웨이터 할아버지도 친절♥

Ein kleines Lokal etwas außerhalb der Meile. Das Essen war spitze und die Qualität des Fisch war sehr gut und extrem lecker. Wer in Ruhe das Essen genießen möchte ist dort bestens aufgehoben.

My husband and I have been traveling for 2 weeks in Portugal and try to eat out of the beaten path. This place was within 8mns walk from center of Lagos but everything was fresh, tasty, and perfectly seasoned. Older waiter very attentive, recommended a dry white with our clams,octopus and rock bass all delicious!

Excellent food in Lagos. We ate a beef for 2 persons and it didn’t disappoint us. They even cut it in front of you. The starters are a great addition. The staff is very friendly and prompt to give you tips. I recommend making a reservation beforehand as it may get fully booked.

Worth it just for the fish soup and Octopus&prawns... Both were absolutely stellar. Humble and delicious, if highly seasoned cooking. Thankfully, away from most of the touristy fare, those two dishes are a MUST in Lagos.

Excellent food and the most classy waiter/sommelier in town. Quick and on the spot. Great quality food with genuine ingredients. This is a great and genuine restaurant. Would come back if we get the chance.

Achtung: 2 Stunden nachdem ich hier war, musste ich mich übergeben. Entweder es lag an der Fischsuppe, den Garnelen oder dem Eis. Wenn das nicht gewesen wäre, hätte es 4 Sterne gegeben.

Etwas ausserhalb der Altstadt, auf einer kleinen Anhöhe, nahe der Stadtmauer gelegen. Hier stimmt einfach alles!
Schönes Ambiente, tolles Speisenangebot, super Service.
Das Essen ( Chateaubriand ) war vorzüglich und wurde am Tisch tranchiert und uns mit köstlichen Beilagen serviert. Preis/Leistung ist super. Gerne wieder.

Ambiente acolhedor e familiar. Quem nos atendeu foi o proprietário e chef que apresentou os pratos (limitados) e suas sugestões. Fez questão de mostrar os pescados frescos e prepara-los próximo a nossa mesa. Fomos os primeiros clientes do dia.
Dias de funcionamento e horários estão errados na internet, até comentei com o proprietário que informou que não fazia questão de corrigi-los ou manter um perfil de avaliação.
Preço justo, tempo de preparo médio, logo que os pratos são feitos na hora “ao vivo” e frescos. Uma grata surpresa.

Had lunch last week and enjoyed delicious lamb and octopus dishes!! Fresh and fabulous flavours. Owners were very warm and friendly and accommodating for our 10mth daughter. Highly recommend!

Die Bedienung war super, das Essen war lecker, der Laden ist in jedem Fall weiter zu empfehlen! Neben inländischen Spezialitäten gibt's auch das ein oder andere für "nicht Fisch Liebhaber ". Wir hatten beide das Pfeffersteak. War gut! ;)

Main courses seem to be spaghetti variations around 10 euros then jump to 20+ euros for other mains. Spaghetti we had was delicious though I have to say. Cover was also excellent, wine was good also. Just seemed a little expensive with no in between priced mains. Would recommend though, especially for couples looking for a good quality meal.

Great food! Went with my girlfriend, after ordering the starters we received bread and tapas on the house. Starters: Swordfish, Fried Calamari. Both outstanding in quality and presentation. Main courses: Clams with Cuttlefish, Grilled Filet Steak. The clams and cuttlefish was a first for me. Enjoyed it very much. The steak was of a good quality and cooked as requested. Experienced waiters that preserve formal tradition in their habits giving you a classy experience.

We loved this restaurant, the shrimp in green pepper sauce was delicious, as was my partners sea bream. We ordered the nata tart for dessert, it was amazing! The house white wine was lovely, service was fantastic and it was overall very good value, would highly recommend.

Insomma, il posto è carino e tranquillo, i prezzi sono medio - alti. Abbiamo preso in 2 solo un antipasto di frittura di calamari (buoni ma porzione piccola) e 2 primi pasta con vongole (porzioni piccole). Nella pasta mancava il sale. Abbiamo speso 40 euro. Non sono molto soddisfatto della cena.

Exceptionnel ! Des amuses bouches d'une grande finesse. Présentation du poisson du jour avant de le cuire. Plat savoureux et service à la portugaise avec le digestif offert en fin de repas. A ne pas louper !

Locale piccolo, ma cucina ottima, il posto migliore dove ho mangiato qui a lagos il pesce è squisito mi spiace solo di non esserci stato altre volte perché avevo voglia di provare altri posti ma dopo le altre esperienze di ristoranti posso affermare che tra tutti i ristoranti provati e stato il meno caro. Quindi prezzo qualità 4 stelle meritate.

We had the clam pasta and the octopus pasta, both delicious. Also tried tomato salad and beef carpaccio, which were quite good. Reasonable prices and friendly and attentive service. We'd recommend this little spot if you are in Lagos!

We knew it was going to be good food when the coivert (cover) came with amazing flavoured butter and home made pate. The prawns in green pepper was outstanding. Finished it off with a pastel de natas and a gratis port.
