Piège à touristes que la vue d interressante et encore ....encore une erreur du guide du routard ....repas insipide et cher pas l habitude de critiquer sur les réseaux mais là ....malade toute la nuit alors....pour rendre service....

Das Essen und darum geht es ja ,war unglaublich gut! Ich hatte den Dracula Spiess ! Es war Huhn ,Rind ,Schwein ,Zwiebeln, Paprika eine komplette gegrillte Tomate mit Pommes an einem ca 50 cm langem Spiess! Ich sag es hier nochmal alles perfekt auf den punkt ! Eines der besten essen was ich jemals hatte! Für 19 Euro gibt es nix besseres ! Die Gastgeber sind sehr Herzlich und sollte ich jemals wieder hier sein Esse ich hier !

Das Restaurant heißt jetzt Don Carvoeiro. Die Inhaber sind dieselben. Die Karte wurde überarbeitet. Es gibt etwas weniger Gerichte. Die Qualität ist durchweg sehr gut. Sehr leckere Grillgerichte - egal ob Fisch oder Fleisch. Sehr gute Pizza.
Die Aussicht von den Terrassen auf das Meer ist wirklich sehr schön.

Fomos pela recomendação de uns amigos e fomos muito bem. Atendimento muito simpático, familiar e acolhedor, comida bem confeccionada e saborosa, professional, bem equilibrada nos temperos, sobremesa foi o bolo de alfarroba, miscelânea de doces da casa, tudo muitíssimo bom. Ficamos bastante satisfeitos. Relação preço/qualidade bom. Recomendo por quem passa por Carvoeiro.

Exzellente Fleisch- und Fischgerichte zu moderaten Preisen. Immer frische Zutaten. Neu in der Speisekarte ist der sehr gute Hamburger. Pizza ist ebenfalls sehr empfehlenswert. Von der Terrasse aus hat man einen hervorragenden Blick auf den Atlantik und auf den Strand von Carvoeiro. Man beachte die Besonderheiten der schweizer Küche in der Speisekarte. Sehr freundliches Personal. Lockere Atmosphäre. Das Restaurant hieß bisher "Tia Ilda". Abgesehen von der Änderung des Namens hat sich aber kaum etwas verändert. Auch die Inhaber sind immer noch die gleichen.

Local simplesmente maravilhoso! Uma ótima experiência gastronómica, com um cardápio variadíssimo, que oferece a possibilidade de escolher, desde uma cozinha italiana para satisfazer o desejo de massas ou pizzas, até uma lista diversa de grelhados divinais, e ainda, alguns pratos típicos da casa que vale a pena experimentar! E para tornar a experiência ainda mais agradável, o restaurante tem um terraço e uma vista mar fenomenal que acaba por tornar-se a cereja no topo do bolo Sugiro que façam reserva, principalmente na altura do verão, porque rapidamente a casa enche. Os preços são bastante acessíveis para a qualidade do serviço e do local. Recomendo!!!!!!!!!!

Hier heerlijk gegeten. Wij hebben gekozen voor de tapas op de voorkant van de kaart. Zeker de octopus is een aanrader. Ook het bruschetta brood is heerlijk. Lekker op een dunne pizza bodem. Uitzicht is perfect, je kijkt recht op het strand en de zee uit. Personeel is vriendelijk, maar komen wel war gehaast over. Voor 19.30 kregen wij 20% korting. We hebben hier 2 keer een kleine maaltijd gepakt, en 2 keer was het goed! Zeker ook als lunch kan je hier heerlijk eten. Al zijn ze niet altijd open, de reden hiervoor is bij mij onbekend.

Три только за вид с террасы. За местного осьминога с рисом на двоих за 45€ поставить нечего, осьминога там с трудом можно найти, а вкуса его нет и подавно.

Food was good however the service was not. We felt unwelcome and the staff especially the “lady” to be somewhat off which was a shame as the location and setting is great. Seemed to us that they lean very much towards the locals.

Buen sitio. Estuvimos arriba en el mirador, la vista, espectacular. La comida bastante bien y con un precio razonable para el lugar donde nos encontrábamos. Nos gustó para repetir.

Relación calidad-precio nefasta. El sitio y los camareros son agradables pero la calidad de la comida deja mucho que desear...¡Ojo! con el precio de las bebidas, una lata de ice tea 4,10€

Belle vue sur la plage... et c'est tout !
Au Portugal les serveurs sont très dynamiques et avenants, ici il était lymphatique... Le prix pour le plat principal des sardines grillées, était bien trop élevé (et pour tout le reste de la carte c'était l'arnaque aussi) : c'était notre premier restaurant au Portugal et notre plus mauvaise expérience. Plusieurs restaurants à Farragudo, à 15 min en voiture, sont bien plus intéressants !

We have ate in here a few times over the years and have always found the food to be good. The kebabs are really good plus the pizzas are super thin and crispy. Good settings, views and food.

Das Essen ist einfach gut und nicht teuer im Vergleich zu den anderen Restaurants die sich in der Nähe befinden. Freundliches Personal das seit Jahren dort arbeitet und ein echtes Stück Carvoeiro!

Un endroit calme pour un repas parmi les meilleurs que nous ayons eu à déguster sur Carvoeira. Des choses simples, mais faites par du personnel aimant son métier. La brochette de Polvo e Tamboril, juste grillée ou les sardines grillées (congelées), le bacalhau au four. Tout est fait maison à la demande. De plus, la vue sur la plage, à partir de la terrasse, est splendide. La patronne, d'une grande gentillesse, parle un français parfait. Merci beaucoup pour votre accueil et votre compréhension concernant mon allergie.

Stopped here on our first day in Portugal, we found the waiting staff very friendly. We were originally going to have a light lunch but ended up have our main meal. We both had the cod cooked in the oven, the fish was cooked perfectly it came in a traditional Portuguese sauce of onion peppers and potatoes word of warning the fish had bones in so make sure you get then out. We had a sweet and coffees to follow, this was an excellent experience at the star of the holiday

Super Meerblick, große Portionen. Grillt viel, es riecht auch immer nach Grill, muss man mögen. Spaghetti Carbonara waren lecker allerdings eher Schweizer Style als italienisch - der Besitzer ist wohl auch Schweizer. Bedienung war sehr nett.

Ordered main course and drinks only, had to wait over an hour for our food and then one of our party did not get what they ordered. This was corrected when it was pointed out. I ordered the piri-piri pizza but it wasn't spicy at all and food in general was bland and uninteresting, won't be returning.

Gostei do espaço da decoração e da simpatia do staff. Têm uma boa vista sobre a praia do Carvoeiro no terraço com um ambiente agradável. Boas opções de peixe e de carne mas o seu ponto forte é o marisco. Preço elevado e doses pequenas. Não têm menu para crianças.

Das Restaurant hat einen super Ausblick auf das Meer und den Ort Carvoeiro. Dies war eine der besten Cataplana die ich gegessen habe, auch der Dracula - Spieß war auf den Punkt über Holzkohlefeuer gegrillt, eine wahre Delikatesse und sehr reichhaltig. Dazu das sehr freundliche Personal und das schöne Ambiente des Restaurants. Sehr zu empfehlen ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Geht so ....
Die Sicht ist natürlich sehr schön. Das Essen war in Ordnung, bis auf den Tomatensalat. Eigentlich einfach zu machen. Wenn die Tomaten aber wirklich kalt und noch nicht reif sind, dann schmeckt das nicht wirklich. Mit meiner Reklamation wussten die auch nicht viel anzufangen. Kommt wohl nur selten vor, dass jemand sich kritisch äußert.

We last visited 8 years ago and we can't say it hasn't changed because it's been extended and refurbished - all for the better. Now has an indoor area if the evening is a bit chilly but still has the roof terrace with great views. The food and service and the friendly staff are still as excellent as ever. Will be going again before we leave.

El sitio es bonito, tiene buenas vistas. Y el personal es amable.
Si eres una persona a la que no le importa el precio , ni la relacion con la calidad de la comida , este es tu sitio.
El precio esta ridiculamente inflado. Por un pollo piri piri 15€ y por una botella de Mateuz 23€ son solo algunos ejemplos.

Gutes Restaurant mit toller Terasse und wunderschönem Blick aufs Meer und die Stadt. Das Essen ist auch gut, leckerer Fisch, gute Fleischgerichte, alles frisch und wirklich anständige Preise. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und nett, kann man guten Gewissen weiter empfehlen.

Nous sommes allés dans ce restaurant fortement recommandé par le guide du routard 2017. Quelle déception ! A la place de la bonne cuisine portugaise , nous avons eu droit à un plat insipide pour touristes.De plus les prix sont anormalement élevés pour le pays.Le personnel n est pas désagréable mais il ne faut pas attendre de conseils.Le seul point positif est la très belle vue mer.

Se aspetti un ristoranti tipico portoghese stai alla larga, é un ristorante italiano, anzi che assomiglia da lontano a un italiano. Prezzi altissimi non a livello della qualità offerta e di quelli praticati in Portogallo, cozze thailandesi surgelate, vongole idem, forse si salva il branzino. In Portogallo si mangia molto meglio pagando la metà, non ci torno mai più.

Appalling red raw chicken sent back twice and owner Paula said I don't care people like frozen chips and the chicken is medium rare
This is my first negative review.
I took my partner and mother for lunch to Tia Ilda in Carvoeiro. Lovely view and location. We were very surprised that the place was empty. We ordered chicken peri-peri and bacalhao com Natas (cod fish on cream sauce)The chicken was served raw with frozen chips and the fish was bland and still frozen in the middle. We raised this to Paula the owner expecting an apology. She said that foreigners prefer frozen fries and that there was no point of serving salad which people would often leave behind?! This was a €14 plate of chicken and chips and €20 plate of cod fish. We send the chicken back to be properly cooked but after another 10mins in the barbecue the little chickens off cuts still tasted over salted and chewy. We said we had sent it back twice. An apology would have helped but this restaurant owner just decided that it has really no point addressing the complaint and saying that "well, it often happens" and just walked away pretending that she need to take a important phone call. Maybe a fresh complaint.!? Surely fresher that the food served!!
Sorry for the front house staff who felt very embarrassed.

Déception. Encore une mauvaise adresse du guide du routard! Certe vue mer mais Personnel qui n'explique pas la carte et menu en français mal traduit donc je me suis retrouvé avec un plat de pâte en sauce alors que je pensais goûter une spécialité portugaise de viande de veau haché ! Très cher pour des pâtes à la sauce quasiment sans viande et la morue à la crème fraîche de mon mari était bonne mais peu copieuse. Donc à fuir. Trop cher pour ce type de prestation surtout au Portugal ! 60€ à 2 avec 1 bouteille de vin , melon farineux en entree MAIS sans dessert ! Écoeuré

Basic food similar to a fast food restaurant , forgot our reservation , nothing done to rectify the reservation situation but a 'oh well' attitude , forgot about us in the restaurant , 3 smokers puffed away beside a 4 year old child on the neighbouring table, should have left the minute we arrived. I visit the village every year and won't be going back. Gave it one star cause the view was nice.

De cola die we besteld hadden was 4 maanden over datum dit was de 3e keer naar zijn zeggen maar hij straalde niet de drang uit om er iets aan te doen.
De kip piripiri was lekker maar de patat erbij lag in een laagje vet. De pizza was wel oke.

Went to this restaurant many times whilst on holiday
Breathtaking views and fantastic menu couldnt fault the food!
