Saw the sign driving past and decided to give it a try. Delighted we did. The new owners could not have been welcoming and helpful. The menu was not extensive but interesting and based on their "trio" theme of pasta, meat and fish. Started with great cocktails and breads with a delicious salmon mousse. We were recommended a lovely wine for less than we were originally looking at. Starters and main course were unhurried and excellent. Liked that sides were served separately and all could share. Recommend the sea bass and black linguine. Great coffee to finish and complementary liqueurs. Lovely meal and will definitely return.

A very friendly restaurant. great food and relaxed informal atmosphere, the owner shared a couple of local Port style wines. Wonderful evening.

Excellent food and service. Don't miss this gem. Have been several times during a two week holiday. Would highly recommend.

Je ne comprends pas les avis précédents, certes le service est sympa mais la nourriture est dégueulasse je ne recommande absolument pas, le menu enfants est juste un désastre mes filles n ont rien mangé mon confit de canard et ma soupe de tomates c'était juste à vomir.

I brought the family here and everything was superb. Hosts very friendly and accommodating, very relaxed atmosphere, terrific food and the (complimentary) port was to die for. Do not hesitate to drop in.

This was the first time that my husband and I have dined here. The food, atmosphere and ambience was absolutely brilliant. The staff were friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. A must go to dine, if you are in that area as it was the best restaurant we visited during our weeks stay.

Fantastic restaurant and great staff, friendly and helpful. We were a large group and the only very minor issues was the chef was worked hard and some food delayed by a few minutes. Loved the place and we'll be back.

Amazing atmosphere and great food. The owner is very hospitable and attentive. We had the pasta dishes and they were both great! The pana cotta was delicious!! Even tried some Moldovan wine which I must say was very nice!! If you’re in the area it’s a must try for dinner!!

We went to the Trio for a valentines meal!! We came over from the UK to stay with my family so we did not know where to eat but had been recommended by a relative that this young couple had bought the restaurant and had completely revamped the interior and also completely modernised the menu. We were greeted with a complimentary glass of champagne and a rose which was a lovely touch, we then had the set 4 course meal which was amazing!!! The owner could see what a big bloke my husband is and asked if he’d like another piece of steak which he kindly excepted (which we weren’t charged for) this would not have happen in the UK We then decided after the meal to sit at the bar and listen to the singer who had an amazing voice and were given a complimentary glass of port to finish off our experience, plus a card with an extra 20% off our next visit. What a lovely couple, they couldn’t have been more attentive if they’d tried, I hope they do well. Make sure you try it there, you will not be disappointed!!!
