Viel mij zwaar tegen, we kregen lamsbout in schijven van de gril, maar hadden graag koteletjes gehad. Er was geen frites of rijst te krijgen, wel gekookte aardappelen. Kreeg echt de indruk dat ze snel geld willen verdienen. De gastvrouw is wel helemaal top

Great find for a spot of lunch. Food was excellent and well priced for what you receive. Daily changing menu depending on what's in season and at it's best. All desserts were gluten free, cheesecake was top. Would recommend if your looking for something different to the surrounding touristy restaurants. Good job

The brill was quite good, the tuna was very tasty. I was disappointed to be brought bread dry, without any oil or butter. I was unable to catch the eye of any of the serving staff to request some butter before the main course arrived. I would expect to be offered these options if they are not included.
I queried the bill at the end of the meal and found that some items from an adjacent table had been added to our bill. The bill had also been totalled wrongly.
The manager was apologetic and deducted two glasses of wine from the bill.
It's a pretty looking restaurant but has some problems. There are restaurants nearby offering a much better experience.

It's not very cheap, but food was great! I eat tuna stake which was perfect and my wife took prawns. They also have delicius desserts. Recommend!

Não gostei, porções pequenas, o restaurante ocupa o canto da travessa no qual se situa, e ainda senta clientes no banco colocado na rua pela câmara municipal. Proprietário arrogante. O staff é muito simpático e prestável, apesar das condições de trabalho oferecidas, contratos duvidosos! E ainda põem anúncio a pedir "empregada inteligente"...???. A não repetir, Olhão tem melhores restaurantes, a preços idênticos!

Wonderful, rustic and charming little restaurant tucked away in the back streets of Olhao. We came here for lunch with our two children and everything we had was fantastic. Beautifully cooked Bream and Prawns and great service from the owner who was very attentive and clearly cares about the experience you have. We can't wait to come back in the summer and eat here every chance we get, reasonably priced for what you get as well.
Keep up the great work my friend, from the Oklahoma, Manchester crew :-)

Vraiment à éviter. Personnel obséquieux, rien dans l'assiette, dessert sans saveur, prix élevés. Je suis sorti en ayant faim!!!!!! Décor de chochottes, pas de lumières. Arrêtez avec les desserts sans gluten et sans sucre. Je ne suis pas malade ni bobo.
Je ne suis pas d'accord avec le propriétaire. J'ai payé ma note. Et je paie toujours où je vais. Mais quand on se donne des airs, il faut savoir assumer. J'ai horreur de sortir d'un restaurant en ayant faim. Je veux informer les autres touristes. Si certains ont aimé, tant mieux. Pas moi. Et ce site est fait pour le dire.

Gemütliches Restaurant mit sehr nettem, freundlichen Service. Die Qualität der Speisen ist top, die Portionen im Verhältnis zu anderen portugiesischen Restaurants normal. Mein Thunfischsteak war auf den Punkt gegart, einziger Minuspunkt war, dass das Grillgemüse kalt serviert wurde (bewusst). Da ich kein kaltes Essen zu einem Steak mag, wurde dieses auf Wunsch aufgewärmt. Das "gesunde" landestypische Dessert war lecker.

Good service, rustic nice atmosphere very good food all fresh and bought at local market daily. For me especially it was the gluten free menu and wonderfull gf cheesecake. Kevin is a wonderful host and is obviously doing his best to give fresh local food and cater for those who suffer allergies and intolerances.

Besides of the tastefull and well prepared delights, the restaurant shows a great ambiente to sit, relax and enjoy.

Restaurant idéal pour un agréable dîner en amoureux. Le cadre est top, cosy, épuré mais chaleureux. Le service est adorable et attentionné (en plus d’etre polyglotte ;)). Et les plats sont frais, gourmands et à la fois raffinés ! Une adresse dans laquelle je reviendrai avant la fin de mon voyage avec grand plaisir !

Nice and cosy place. Unfortunatly the british style cooking is so britsh. How to transform superb seafood in an unpleasat, blant, less than average dishes. It s so much better to eat in the little cafe around the market.

Chachacha is terrific! It’s not only the best restaurant in Olhão, but a positive asset to the town (which of course is a delight). The restaurant is easygoing and relaxed and it does what anyone with good sense in Olhão would do – it gets the best, freshest ingredients from the fabulous market, a couple of minutes’ away, and serves them in ways that best bring out the flavours. Nothing exceptionally fancy but imaginative nonetheless – smoked tuna with plums, for example, or clams with samphire, or a perfectly grilled squid. The wines, too, are pretty special – a simple choice of red, white or rose, all natural, unfiltered wines from an estate near Setubal. And the dessert cakes are something else again!
I really can’t praise Chachacha highly enough. It really is a gem.

Restaurant agréable mais nous ne nous sommes pas régalées : très peu à manger dans l'assiette et servi froid pour ce qui est des pommes de terre, la seiche était tiède, accompagnée d'un peu de mayonnaise. Cheesecake bon, mais mini portion aussi. Nous avions faim en sortant.

What a gem of a place. Four of us on holiday from Yorkshire called in for lunch the other day. It was so good, we are catching the train back from Cabanas todays, for another lunch. We understand that the menus changes every day and depends on what is the best thing the owner finds in the market that day. The food and service were top quality. I don't normally recommend restaurants but I can recommend Cha Cha Cha without hesitation. I could go on but I think you will have got the message

It was the very best of all restaurants we tried in Olhao!
Very fresh, very tasty and the best (zelf made!)cakes of the town.
The service is very friendly and correct.
Very good food for a good price.

Comida y trato muy buenos y un local agradable. Menú basado principalmente en productos del mar y unos postres muy ricos.
No aceptan pagos con tarjeta, algo que hoy en día me parece imprescindible.

Fui duas vezes: achei a primeira especial mas a segunda pareceu-me pouco especial. Penso que é demasiado caro para a diferença que oferece relativamente a outros restaurantes.

Mitten in den verwinkelten Gassen der Altstadt findet man dieses kleine aber feine Restaurant.
Ohne Reservierung bekommt man trotzdem noch einem Platz im Lokal. Alles ist sehr geschmackvoll uns landestypische aber modern eingerichtet. Kellner und Besitzer waren unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend.
Die Speisen werden täglich gewechselt, je nachdem was gerade aus dem Meer gefischt oder auf dem Markt angeboten wird. Tapas zwischen 3 und 6€ und Hauptgerichte zwischen 12 und 16 Euro. Wir hatten 2 Hauptgerichte, 1 Tapas-Gericht, Brot&Oliven, 1Flasche Wein, 1Flasche Wasser und ein Stück Kuchen für 49 Euro. Die Kreation der Gerichte sind hochwertig und lassen höhere Preise vermuten. Der Chef ist Gastronom mit Leib in Seele und versteht es sich auf die Gäste einzulassen. Und das obwohl er kein Portugiesisch spricht.
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Faible quantité dans les assiettes (un plat = une entrée à mon sens) et une note très salée ! Très déçue par ce restaurant. Nous en avons testé de bien meilleurs et plus copieux dans les mêmes rues, et pour moins cher......

I went on my own for dinner and I would come back again. I had salad with pear, rocket, almonds, goat cheese and honey sauce (4.5) It was small but good sice as starter for one. Maybe too much pear, and few pieces of rocket and goat cheese, but good anyways. The best was the main dish, tuna kofte totally recommend it (12.5). I didn't want any dessert but the owner offered me some cherries, great customer service and great service they were very quick even though they were almost full

Dueño con un carma especial y muy atento.
Camarera hiper amable y te explica toda la carta con un gran sonrisa, es estupenda.
Comida muy buena y precio razonable.

Excellent staff and service with great food. Very cozy with attention to details. Had home made marinated anchovies, tomatoes with some smoked tuna, lentils with local chorizo, grilled lamb and tuna steak. Tuna was perfectly cooked rare. The tuna was little bit too salty but besides that everything was perfect. Highly recommend this place!

Great food and atmosphere was spot on; worth the wait. We almost walked out after waiting a bit for service, but were super glad we sat it out. It can be busy and the staff were super friendly and compensated us with a few glasses of wine for our wait. The food was exceptional. Modern tapas with local ingredients, nice portions and very fairly priced. Absolutely delicious dishes and the menu changes daily. We loved the butter beans and the grilled prawns. The small details set it above and beyond the competition. First, the lighting and ambiance where on point with the wall full of mirrors and subtle lighting on the floor tiles. The prawns were hand peel and accompanied with a bowl of hot water filled with mint and lemon for a hand rinse. Get a reservation early and take your time at this cosy gem.

Yum yum yum! A restaurant you must try if given the opportunity. We enjoyed a pleasant evening with an award winning bottle of tinto. Here, we had the mussles and the clams for dinner and would recommend both.

I had an image in mind of what dining may look like in Olhau and this wasn’t it. I had painted a picture of seafront taverns serving a piece of fish from the grill with some simple greens. As lovey as that sounds, cha cha cha took my image and threw it out of the window. Refined and beautiful cuisine. Balanced flavours. The most amazing piece of tuna I have ever tasted, a beautiful fig salad and a raspberry and chocolate cheesecake to really write home about. The service was convivial and I loved every minute. I don’t often write reviews. But this was in my eyes. Perfect.

We stumbled over this place by accident and it immediately looked cosy and inviting. We decided to make a reservation on the spot. Owner and staff are amazingly friendly and they create a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious. We had starters, main and dessert and each of it was great. We will definitely return when in Olhao again.

No teníamos reserva y nos acomodaron. El servicio excelente y el trato amable (nos atendieron en perfecto español). Pedimos la ensalada de higos (diferente) y lubina (exquisita). De postre tarta de queso con frambuesas y base de chocolate. Muy recomendable!!!

Abbiamo cenato in questo delizioso locale perché ci siamo fatti catturare dall'arredamento outdoor semplice ma curato e dal numero degli avventori seduti nei tavolini. Non avendo prenotato, non sapevamo se ci avrebbero fatto cenare, ma con nostra sorpresa il proprietario (?) ci ha accolto lo stesso! La cena è stata buonissima, abbiamo scelto le alici marinate con le cipolle rosse (divine!) per antipasto e due branzini grigliati come piatto principale, anch'essi ben cucinati. Il tutto è stato accompagnato con l'unico vinho verde presente sulla carta dei vini, che sfortunatamente non è molto ricca. Abbiamo concluso il pasto con un ottimo cheesecake con formaggio di pecora e bevuto del buon Madeira. Tutto lo staff è stato veramente gentile e sorridente. Il rapporto qualità /prezzo è adeguato, il costo è medio-alto. In totale abbiamo speso 70 euro. Lo consigliamo sicuramente!

Produits frais, locaux, et en plus de ça excellents. Les serveurs/serveuses, étaient très accueillants, souriants, gentils! Si vous passez par Olhao, vous devez y aller. Très bon rapport qualité-prix.

Une expérience magnifique ! Au détour d'une ruelle et à l'abris des pièges à touristes. La terasse est charmante, le personnel souriant et attentionné et on y mange délicieusement bien. Un must à Olhao !!

This restaurant was recommended to us and it did not disappoint. Staff were fantastic and charming, service was excellent and the food delicious. We both had the lamb which was cooked beautifully, couldn’t fault anything. Desserts again delicious. Very reasonably priced. Can’t wait to go back and try something different. Would highly recommend

Fantastic little restaurant and really child friendly. We had Tuna (which was cooked perfectly) , sea bass and chicken, all of which came with a lovely salad. Service was brilliant too. Definitely recommend.

Ein Kleinod im Zentrum von Olhao und doch versteckt. Junge Frauen in der Küche und im Service haben Spaß an ihrem Job, und das spürt man als Gast. Kreative Küche (gegrillter Kürbis mit Ziegenkäse) gibt es hier genauso wie traditionelle Gerichte, aber jung intetpretiert (Sardinen mit einem herrlichen Salat und Kartoffeln). Das (Bauern-) Brot wird im kleinen Stoffsäckchen serviert. Wie kommt man hin? Die Markthallen im Rücken auf den "Startplatz" der Fußgängerzone gehen und dort bald links abbiegen. Man kann draußen unter Sonnensegeln sitzen oder drin im originell bunten Restaurant mit modernen Kunstwerken an den Wänden und Kräutersträußchen auf den Tischen.

Liebevoll eingerichtet, sehr nette Bedienung und man sitzt drinnen wie draußen an einem Ort, der zum Schmausen und Verweilen einlädt. Neben dem obligatorischen Fisch und der oft in den Kommentaren erwähnten leckeren Thunfisch-Mayonnaise, gibt es auch tolle Nachspeisen. Davor oder danach kann man dann gleich in der „Werkstatt“ shoppen.

Spontan beim Vorübergehen aufgrund der toll hergerichteten Tische entschieden hier zu bleiben - unglaublich freundliches Personal, toller Service, jeder Wunsch wurde zur vollsten Zufriedenheit erfüllt und das Essen war äußerst lecker! Alles frisch gemacht!

Sehr gemütliches und authentisches Restaurant etwas abseits des Touristentrubels. Überschaubare aber gut ausgewählte Karte mit exzellenten Gerichten aus frischen und lokalen Zutaten. Gute Weine, sehr freundlicher Service. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert!

Il cibo é buono e di ottima qualità, il personale ė gentile, le tre stelle sono per il fatto che le porzioni sono piccole e i prezzi alti, soprattutto per gli standard portoghesi e di Olaho. Mi auguro aumentino le porzioni o diminuiscano i prezzi, in quel caso ci tornerei volentieri visto che i piatti erano davvero gustosi.

Petit restaurant qu'on pourrait facilement rater en déambulant dans la ville mais ce serait dommage car la cuisine est inventives et succulente. Plutôt élaborée mais pas prétentieuse, la nourriture y est fraîche et donne envie de tout essayer. Le service est chaleureux, du coup un peu lent, mais on ne leur en veut pas trop puisqu'on est en vacances. Évitez juste le vino de la casa, pas terrible.
