Sehr leckeres Essen und richtig gute, frische Cocktails. Ein wenig beengte Verhältnisse, aber trotzdem gemütlich. Die Bedienung ist aufmerksam und kam die meiste Zeit gut mit. War aber bei vollem Haus auch gefühlt am Limit. Insgesamt aber sehr zu empfehlen.

Very nice Spot for student’s on cheap budget. You get a nice Portion for what you pay. The food was very good and Cheap. 8$ with extra guacamole and water is not charged!

The burrito itself was quite good. However, deducted one star because of an unnecessarily long wait - there was plenty of space for us to sit in the restaurant but the staff couldn’t be bothered with the hassle of getting customers to sit efficiently (e.g. couples sitting next to each other on bench style seating, leaving two free but unusable seats on the opposite bench).
The churros we ordered for dessert were also inedible- flavourless and extremely doughy, not crispy at all.

First time eating here and was impressed with the freshness of the ingredients! You certainly get your money’s worth with the size of the bowls. Many options to customize your bowl, making this a vegetarian- and vegan-friendly spot.

Super lecker, nette Kellner und faire Preise. Was will man mehr? Ein paar Sitzplätze mehr, damit man nicht eine halbe Stunde warten muss bis man essen kann sowie gemütlichere Sitze und Bänke wären schön.

Really good food for cheap 25€ for 2 with starters, mains, a dessert to share and a beer. I recommend the chickpea gordita which is delicious.
Only thing the churros are not so crispy so I don't recommend them.

Good food, good service, good ambience - 5* don't go there is you want fado, fish and some guy singing your name in broken English to an audience clapping to every word they understand. You can choose from either a small menu or create your own dish. Sauces are awesome, piri piri sauce on the table I love!
Haven't had a better dish in a while, thank you guys.

Great place for vegetarians. You could either chose mains and specify fillings or go for their already prepared dishes. Both the nachos and our main dishes were good. Friendly and quick service.

Amazing little restaurant! We found it randomly the first time & it was so good we had to go back again! They have delicious burritos, tacos, nachos etc and a laid back vibe. The staff are great and the prices are good! Highly recommend!

If you are a vegan, this place will be your to go place for Lagos. I got the Hummus Bowl for €8... which came with roasted sweet potatoes (it was done just right), hummus (I found it to be extremely salty, asked the chef and they said that batch was over-salted and brought me a different type of hummus, a sun-dried tomato hummus and it was probably the best hummus I’ve had in my life), guacamole (was a very light), lettuce dressing (it was light and fresh), quinoa (quinoa is quinoa) and pico del gallo (light and refreshing). They are also very generous with requests... not nickel and dimming you, when you ask for bread and stuff.

Amazing food... delicious and fills your tummy..vegan options..I would say it was value for money meal..I went twice during my stay at Lagos.. also I found my favourite roasted potatoes there... Must try!

Holy cow this place was great, the mains are built by you from a choice of options or there is the option of a menu with a wide range of choices. Being difficult sorts we asked for a mojito made without rum and the lovely waitress didn't even blink and cracked out two amazing Virgin mojitos that lost nothing thanks to her skills. The food was sensational and all served with home made hot sauces including a mango one I could have literally drunk it it was so delicious. The dessert that we tried was churros with a chocolate sauce and once again it was delicious! The staff seemed attentive and incredibly friendly and helpful and the actual restaurant was really cozy and well laid out. Absolutely recommend this place!

We were sat opposite the kitchen and saw some unsanitary kitchen practices eg eating with their hands and then continuing to prepare food for customers. My friend saw a chef suck his fingers after eating and then continue chopping veg! I was so so hungry so despite this we ate and the food was v good. I wouldn’t go back as the kitchen practices were off putting. Such a shame!

Amazing burritos and tacos. Nice and trendy place to eat. Has lots of vegetarian options for me. I actually went thrice for lunch there during my visit, which is sufficient to say that I absolutely loved it ;)

Nice Mexican Resteraunt with awesome staff. This is a very fun casual place if you just want to chill out have some fun and eat good food.
They have a good few options to choose from and the best part is you can pretty much create any of there dishes anyway you like, just tick the box and you're good to go!

Sehr nettes Personal und gutes Essen. Man kann selber ankreuzen was man alles in seinem Burrito (oder Quesadillas, Bowl) haben möchte, das hat mir sehr gefallen. Meine Quesadillas waren ein bisschen fade, aber vielleicht liegt es auch daran, dass ich salziges Essen liebe. ;)

After posting my 1 star, I've since been contacted by the owner asking me to remove my review as I couldn't have visited because they were closed for the season.
For the owners information I visited at lunchtime on Sunday 28th October 2018 (Google timeline says I was there for 49 minutes). I probably have my receipt somewhere. You were definitely open as there were at least 3 other tables occupied.
The reason for the 1 star, is quite simply that I didn't think the food was of a good quality, was poorly prepared and nowhere near authentic.
I only give genuine reviews based on my visit to an establishment and this is my honest opinion based on my visit.

Favourite place to eat in Lagos, mainly because (as being vegan), there's quite a few vegan options! I went twice during my journey: one for dinner and the other time for the coffee break. It was truly amazing how tasteful it was. I picked one of the vegan bowl and the vegan brownie and it was so good. The staff is incredibly nice and warmful. I totally recommend it and it's also well located, 2 minutes by foot from the center.

Very cool interior. Right after we got our table they brought some toys for the kids. The food is very good and you will be stuffed for quite some time. :) The vegetables are fresh and the portion was fair. We had a little issue with one of the dishes and the nice waitress was very polite helping to fix the issue. We had a really nice time and very good food. Definitely a reccomendation.

OMG seriously the best burritos I have ever had!! We in fact went back there twice more during our 3 night stay in Lagos. The service and drinks were also great! Highly recommended.

Extra ! Ce n'est pas parce que l'on est au Portugal que l'on doit obligatoirement manger portugais :) De très bons burritos avec de très bons produits, un décor et une ambiance super sympa. Et si vous êtes un artiste, vous pourrez retrouver votre serviette accrochée sur les murs, pour accompagner les autres chefs-d'œuvre !

Great burrito & tacos, well made and tasted all fresh, polished off with a tasty piece of key lime pie! We liked the 'Death Sauce', it was seriously spicey! Staff friendly.

Being from Los Angeles county I have the privilege of eating some of the best Mexican food in the world so this may be slightly bias. In my view though the food was subpar, we ordered bean dip which was cold and had cold tortilla chips. The bowl we ordered was alright but the beans and rice were dry and the best part was the meat was cooked well and had great seasoning. All together the vibe was nice and drinks and food were cheap, but the food was 3 stars at best.

Great place, nice fun people, amazing food. You choose your food ingredient by ingredient which makes it perfect for picky eaters. I had burrito bowl with chicken (all my selected bits are visible on the photo) and sweet potato brownies with vanilla ice cream. It was fabulous and I felt like a stuffed pigeon! I actually didn't finish the brownies and had them packed with me. They were lovely for next day breakfast :) You don't have to worry they pack food with if you need to, using paper boxes.

Awesome food, fast service and priced very reasonably. They also have a 'tick the box' type menu which I thought was pretty nifty. Absolutely recommend eating here though it does get very busy after 8.30 and as it's a small restaurant you may have to wait outside for a table.

If you want a proper burrito, go here! Hands down one of the best I've ever had! Really good price too! You can have as many of the standard toppings as you want, with a few costing extra to have. Vegetarian and vegan options are really good too, having chickpeas doesnt cost any extra which is great!!

We were in an apettite for burittos.
Found the place, entered there, took a seat, an englishwomen “welcomed” us, so we thought about leaving after she spoke to us.
But then again, the burittos were the reason for us there.
We configured our burittos (you need to choose yourself the ingredients) and we waited.
The burritos came and in 10sec magic happend and burritos took over.
If they invent burritos international shipping I’ll start order daily from this guys, only not to see the englishwomen that ownes the place, she’s like Seinfeld’s soupnazi.

Their food is so delicious, I think I developed feelings towards it. Good music, nice people, options for everybody (vegan, vegetarian, meaty). They're very attentive and fast (it took max 15 mins to get our food). There's usually a line outside, make sure to maybe come before the peak hours, but even if you wait it'll be worth it. Would/will definitely come back!

Situado mesmo no centro histórico de Lagos com um ambiente incrível, comida vegan e deliciosa, (também tem opções com carne). As pessoas são super simpáticas mas só se fala inglês. É um sitio muito acolhedor que nos faz sentir em casa e ao contrário dos restaurantes portuguesas aqui não há preconceitos e partilham-se mesas, desenhos em guardanapos pelas paredes do restaurante e fazem-se donativos para os bombeiros em troca de um autocolante de Beats and Burritos e ainda se podem comprar t-shirts.

Delicious design your own style burrito. You can choose from classic burrito, bowl, soft shell tacos etc. I liked it so much I ate here twice and both were fresh. I tried the hottest sauce available and it wasn't very hot at all so don't come here if you want a wild chili ride, just a good burrito. My mojito was pretty good.

Amazing place with delicious food. The place is very welcoming, nice and friendly staff. The service is fast and the prices are really good (6e for a burrito + any meat at 1e and special sides for another addition of 1e each). The burritos are delicious and they come in huge portions! We ordered a side of humus with nachos and tortillas, and two burrito bowls (one with chicken, all free sides and extra sides of guacamole and roasted veg, the other burrito with chickpeas some free extras and then mango salsa and guacamole). I couldn't stop myself from starting my dish so that's why the burrito bowl with chicken looks mixed already. Definitely worth a visit, with great prices and delicious food.

What a cool space! Really quirky yet somehow cozy restaurant. The staff is extremely friendly. I ordered a vegan hummus bowl, sweet potato fries, and a vegan brownie to go. My boyfriend ordered a burrito. We were looking for a good-sized meal before going on a huge hike, and we were not disappointed. Really good food. Great vibe, too. Highly recommend, especially for my fellow vegans.

Un sitio correcto, sin mayor pretensión que resolver una comida rápida. Ambiente agradable en mesas compartidas y carta basada en tacos y burritos con mucha opción para elegir ingredientes. Ojo que si no lo pides, el burrito va sin carne. El personal todo guiri, siguiendo la norma de Lagos.

Das Essen kann ich nicht beurteilen da wir gar nicht erst reingekommen sind. Beim ersten Versuch Um 19uhr warteten wir, ganz normal gekleidetes Pärchen mit Baby, 1h brav in der Schlange bis wir an der Reihe waren. Unser Baby hatte längst die Aufmerksamkeit ( lachte viel weil ich es bespaßte) . Da Fragen die uns ob wir reserviert hätten. Hätten wir nicht aber dafür 1h gewartet. Sagen die tut uns leid ohne Reservierung geht es nicht. Ist ja nicht so, dass man kurz zu einer Familie mit Baby hingehen kann und dies schon nach 10 min mitteilen könnte. OK dachten wir uns. Gehen wir halt am nächsten Tag früher hin. 16uhr wenig los. Wir wollen gerade rein da halten die uns auf und teilen uns mit der Laden schließt kurzfristig für 1h und öffnet erst gegen 17uhr. Wir dann: ok dann reservieren wir für 18uhr. Da sagt die : Reservierung erst ab 4 Leute. Muss somit zu dem Ergebnis kommen, dass die schlichtweg kein baby im Laden haben wollen. Außerdem , wie leider sehr oft in lagos, scheint der Laden auf englisch sprachiges Publikum ausgelegt. Auf portugiesisch reagiert man mit einem Fragezeichen überm Kopf... Schade. Essen sah aus der Ferne gut aus.

Delicious vegan food. Had a hummus bowl and a vegan burrito. So, so good! I was here last year and don't remember them selling meat dishes which they do now - I personally feel that's a shame. But great veggie menu and I'll be back again next year!

Pretty poor, chilli and rice where cold ,so called burrito was just warm and had cheese straight from the fridge so no melted cheese , so you got a just warm bite then ice cold underneath not a nice experience needless to say I couldn't recommend this restaurant

Un sitio genial para comer o cenar. Te atienden super bien, camareros agradables y simpáticos. Además hablan idiomas. Eliges tú los ingredientes de tu burrito, pero también tienen tacos o quesadillas. Tambien tienen buena cerveza: Estrella Galicia!!! Está situado en todo centro de Lagos. Hay muy buen ambiente: gente joven, niños, mayores...
Para volver sin duda!

Comida gostosa e preço acessível. O burrito ou bowl custam 7 euros, e carnes são adicionais. Cada adicional custa em torno de 1,5E e você consegue comprar cervejas, chás e vinhos por 3 euros aproximadamente. Atendentes que falam inglês! Lugar bem jovem e moderno.

Cool little place in Lagos doing tasty bowls and burritos. The walls are covered with funky art by customers on tissue papers. The food tastes good, the portion is decent and the there's a straightforward process to ordering. It is not exactly in main market area but still has a good central location. Good service, good vibes and is priced well. Can be tried once definitely.

Very nice burritos to create yourself! The starters are delicious as well. We had the hummus and enjoyed it a lot.. If youre trying to ssfe the planet, this is a start to do so as they have coke in glass bottles and the take away is in paper boxes!!

Spectacular value. The best Mexican food we've ever had at a bargain price. A bit of a queue to sit in but totally worth the wait. Chicken fajitas portions were very generous, mini quesadillas and nachos were also delicious, can't wait to go back on our next holiday. Not to be missed.

Really cool place. The burritos were delicious. I love that you customize exactly what you want in it too. Prices were pretty decent too. It seems to get busy at night but I still didn't have to wait very long at all (you may if you have a bigger group) but I also came during the day and there was no wait.

Cool place and good food. Patrons draw napkin art while they wait and some are put up on the walls. Expect to pay 9-10 EUR for your taco/burrito/bowl after adding extras. The portions are a good size and very delicious.
They don't take reservations here and there was a decently sized line most of the night but you can also order for take away.
This place is also cash only.

Wir waren in unserem Urlaub zweimal in diesem Restaurant. Beim ersten Mal hat es uns absolut gut geschmeckt, wir hatten die Vorspeise mit Bohnenmus und danach Tacos bzw einen Burrito. Beim zweiten Mal war unsere selbst zusammengestellte Bestellung jedoch nicht ganz richtig (Soße hat gefehlt, bei mir waren zusätzliche Zutaten darin, die ich nicht bestellt habe). Außerdem hat alles etwas wässrig geschmeckt und wir waren nicht so begeistert. Jedoch insgesamt ein cooles Konzept, dass man sowohl Gerichte auswählen als auch selbst zusammenstellen kann, preislich sehr in Ordnung, freundliches Personal und sehr leckere Vorspeisen!

This restaurant has the probably best burritos and tacos in the town, giving you the opportunity to customize your own meal from the start to the end as well as offering a great pre-selected menu with delicious ingredients and sides. The restaurant in general is very vibey with a very cozy hand made interior as well the beautiful napkin wall to be seen on the photo. Only the direct view into the kitchen, narros seating and the sometimes not so empathic staff hinder me of giving a five star review.

Cheap and delicious! The make your own burrito bowl was a very big in size and filling. Ingredients are fresh, and though the chicken was shredded, which was not what I expected, it was delicious and juicy. The quesadilla was very cheesy and also delicious. There's always a line here so recommend coming at off peak times.

Very good place to eat mexican food. The price is economy and you can decide what do you want to put in your burrito, enchilada,etc. They do not have to many tables, so better if you go there early or you can made a reservation. They have kids menu and it is very nice (our boy ate the chicken and it was very nice). Two problems, to park there it is impossible so go walking and the only accept cash.

Das Ambiente entspricht dem mexikanischen Style vom feinsten.
Von einer Auswahl an fertigen Gerichten kann man hier sein Borito, Bowl,Tacco usw. selber zusammen stellen. Dies wird auf einem Zettel mit den Preisen für z.B Extra Fleisch ausgefüllt.Ebenfalls wird dort das Geteänk so wie alle extras , Nachtisch usw. eingetragen und der Bedienung übergeben.
Die Bedienungen selber sind sehr freundlich und sprechen perfekt Englisch.
Achtung! "Ohne" Schuhe , Shirt oder Hose wird man nicht bedient ;) (badeschlappen gehen klar. Also wie in jedem anderen Restaurante auch.

Good portion sizes, and a few choices of vegan options (although they ran out of vegan cheese, and we were the first in here???). Our server was a bit on edge/rude for so early on in the day too. Food lacked flavour, the rice and beans had no seasoning and the guacamole was a little boring. 3 stars because I am very full and the vibes are nice.

Wir waren um ca. 19 Uhr dort und es war schon recht voll. Wenn man einen Tisch ohne Wartezeit möchte sollte man am besten vor 20 Uhr dort sein.
Das Essen lohnt sich auf jeden Fall richtig. Am besten ein Menü mit Nachtisch bestellen diese sind es sowas von wert.

Stayed three days in Lagos, came down twice here... The place is awesome and their food is spectacular. But the gem of the place for me is their home-made Chipotle sauce is worth dying for. Will never forget the taste. The service as well is prompt and the guy is super friendly and helpful.

Although Beats & Burritos isn't all vegan, it's definitely the best place in Lagos for vegans to go! The Staff is very friendly and the food is just stunning. Have been in Lagos for 7 days, went three times to B&B ;).
My recommendation: nachoplate with black bean dip as starter, burrito with vegan chili as main dish and the sweetpotato-chocolatecake as desert.

We both had a burrito and it was very tasty. But the serving size was ridiculous and unacceptable for that high price...Portions were way too small and I heard also other clients who were complaining about the sizes of their tacos and quesadillas. The taste was good, but don't expect a burrito like in Mexican restaurants. It's only a snack. :(

Come here if you don’t want fresh prepared food. Really good vegan selection but food was cold, served in plastic bowls, and my sweet potatoes scratched my throat. Taste was little plain. The 100% fresh squeezed orange juice was from fridge also . So yeah 100% orange but not fresh. Lady who serve there is very friendly and smiley which is only plus to this restaurant.

Good, efficient eats. You can fill out a card to your exact liking for food so it’s hard to mess up. Sangria was good (although a little pricey at 9 euros). The WiFi is good and fast and free! I had the burrito and they had a good selection of free and pay sauces you could add on. The mango was superb (and not spicy). The salad bowl presentation was superb. Photos as of April 2018.

Sort of a hipster place, but I say that in a good way. The server was helpful with her suggestions. I was looking for non-Portuguese dinner and this place helped me with that. We sat past their closing time and they didn't mind at all.

Thoroughly enjoyed eating here. Spectacular flavours, lovely staff. I had a couple of vegetarian friends with me and there was plenty of choice for them too. I wish I lived closer so that I could be a regular customer.

Amazing burritos and great chili! I can only recommend it. The service is great, they are all very nice and helpful. If it's on the menu of the day, absolutely try the keylime pie! The atmosphere is really chilled, like being at a beach bar even though it's in the city's heart (maybe it helps that almost everyone coming in here looks like a surfer or regular beach-goer). Good price for the food too, I really felt that I paid a fair price. Don't hesitate to post something on their wall...no not facebook I mean literal wall (it's filled with guests' drawing on napkins)

Really disappointed with the serving size, and the price. I ordered a standard chicken burrito, add guacamole - I received 4 small chicken pieces and thin layer of guacamole. The ingredients were unevenly layered also.

Absolutely amazing burritos! Cool place as well. If you are good at doodling on your napkin they will hang it on the wall. Food is lovely. You can choose as many fillings as you like. Good news for coriander haters is it's an optional filling! Will be coming back before my holiday is over.

The food is oke, but may not be enough for a all eaters. For vegans/vegetarians the fillings are replaced by chickpeas. The nachos starter was not so special, no guacamole as dip, just normal sour cream, a smokey dip and a fresh tomatoes and onions version. The cheese topping, which you have to pay extra for is not so tasty and only covers a small bit. The atmosphere becomes better later in the evening. Note that you have to sit on benches which are a bit far from the table.

Asked for double chicken. Still only got 50g of chicken. That's half a chicken breast.... Don't waste your money. And I paid for double chicken...

Burritos were good, but both of us got severe diarrhea the next day. they definitely should improve their hygenic standards!

Nettes einfaches Restaurant für ein Clientel das eher ohne Schlips und Krawatte auskommt. Die Burrittos waren sehr gut, allerdings ein bisschen klein. Haben sogar einen Radler im Angebot :) Empfehlung!

We are in Lagos for our honeymoon and this place is tasty and fun! The staff are super friendly and seem to enjoy working here. This is our second time in 3 days! I'm having the tacos. They come served on a stone plate and are crispy on one side. Really fresh ingredients. The first time we were here...no avacados! The order they had that day wasn't good!

A comida estava deliciosa, só que as pessoas servindo estavam meio desatentas. Sou vegetariana e me entregaram o burrito da minha mãe, com carne. Como em quase todo o Algarve, também ninguém fala português no restaurante.

Great customizable burrito! I also loved the pineapple-habanero salsa! Great staff and fun atmosphere. Definitely the place to go for yummy Mexican food in Lagos.

One of those places where all food options are great, apart from the candy that comes with the bill. You get the opportunity to set up your own burrito, making it a spot where everyone can get something they prefer. Really filling, good drink options and lovely caring staff.

Sehr kleines gemütliches Restaurant, mit trendiger Musik sehr gutem, frisch zubereitetem Essen und guten Drinks. Sehr nette Bedienung und gemütliche Atmosphäre. Kann ich nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Very good food. They have some great home made spicy sauce. The guacamole needs garlic, some diced onions and tomatoes.

Everything was perfect! Nice music and tasty burritos. The food is good quality and a kitchen is well cleaned. Prices are low. You must visit this place once you'll come to Lagos.

Food ok, breaks it up a bit from eating the same old in other restaurants. Staff very laid back but service is fast. Steak in the burito lacked flavour. Good for a quick bite.

Had lunch here, my wife an I ordered starters, quesadillas and drinks and everything tasted amazing, the prices are reasonable, and the staff were very friendly, they even have vegan options.
