Lovely staff..food very well cooked..not expensive..like really good home cooked food..not Portuguese cuisine but the clues in the name.well run efficient and friendly..Lovely evening spent .

Spent a week in Praia Da Rocha and had our breakfast here every morning because the food was good quality and staff very cheerful and friendly.

Serveuse très sympa, nous avons commandé des ribs mais il n'y en avait plus, la serveuse nous recommande quelque chose de similaire mon compagnon accepte.. Surprise sur la facture la viande était à 19euros soit 7 euros p'us cher que les ribs (pas sympa la recommandation) et la viande ne valait clairement pas les 19 euros..

We were so delighted that after a long night taking wrong turns there was a wee bar/restaurant just up the hill from where we were staying. The communication and service wee got was fab! Even though we might be been there all day night drinking they still managed to give us a smile. Hands up to Debbie for making her first cocktails! We must've liked them because we ordered hundreds more. Next time we will definitely be back! Thanks again

It's an english (welsh) food joint on a holiday resort strip.... It's hardly likely to blow your mind now, is it!? Service was spot on though.

We stopped off at Taffy's after a day trip and we were ravenous. We each chose a different meal and were all delighted with the large portion sizes and the quality of the food. Friendly staff, great food at a reasonable price what more could you ask for? They don't take credit/debit cards so make sure you have cash on you.

Arrived in Portugal a few days ago. Was looking for somewhere with good British food. I searched Google for "English breakfast near me" and Taffy's Grill was top of the options. We have eaten breakfast and tea there. The food is astonishing! It's the first time in a long while that I have been shocked by good food. The Welsh lady in the kitchen chatted to us when it was quiet and gave us advice on the best places to visit and shop. She was really helpful and was just a lovely person to be around. The other members of staff were also extra friendly and helpful, but in the way you want them to be. They ask you about the food quality when they can see it's convenient and not whilst you have a mouth full of food lol. It's honestly the most organised restaurant I have been to. They really knew what to do and worked like a very well oiled machine. The way they greeted you to changing cutlery once you ordered steak was phenomenal. I can't wait to go back there tomorrow and neither can my wife. I also LOVE the way they handle their English breakfast menu! You get a check list of all the food that you normally have on an English breakfast. You get to tick what of those foods you want on your plate. You can choose any number of food items and you do not get penalised for choosing one item of all 14 items the set price works brilliantly and I think more places should adopt this method. After both our drinks and both full English breakfast the bill come to only €13. What more could you ask?

Went for dinner here and the food and drink were great. Staff were friendly too. So good we went for Breakfast here a few days later, and it was just as good as the dinner.

I recently had gastric sleeve surgery and I can only eat very small amounts, I have had trouble finding places to eat that let's me order from a child's menu, however after visiting taffys on a few occasions the staff were awesome and fully understood my needs, can't highly recommend the place enough, the food is to die for and is of a high quality xx

Very tasty barbecue. If you are not familiar with steaks you should definitely go there because steaks are impossible good. Very pleasant waiter and very good prices. We were at 7 people and everyone was full and got tasty dish. Recommended place I Portimao!

Food was ok. But not amazing like at the most other restaurants in Portimao. Service was fast and friendly. In my opinion a little bit overpriced for the quality of the food.

Service was very good, the staff is friendly, attentive and fast. The rib eye steak was tasty, the ribs a little on the bland side. Prices a little higher than other restaurants in Portimão for the beef steaks, but not above the usual in Europe.

The red flags started when, upon letting the waitress know we wanted breakfast, she took away the menus and gave us little slips of paper to order from. The beans were ice cold and canned. The tomatoes were also straight out of the can. The blood pudding was as tad dry but tasty, as were the mushrooms which were the best thing on the plate. Our eggs were also overcooked, but that I can understand. The rest however, was pitiful. Go elsewhere if you're looking for a good hearty and savory breakfast, unless you're looking to pay for canned food, which you can do from home for a 5th of the price :/

No primeiro dia provamos o Mix de churrasco com extra arroz e extra ovo, as batatas, o costeleta de porco e a linguiça estavam impecáveis, porém o restante estava sem sal, a quantidade de comida é boa, pedimos tamanho jumbo. Demos ao restaurante uma segunda chance e provamos o a entrada de asinhas de frango picantes que estavam deliciosas e muito bem cozidas e a seguir o piano de porco com salada e molho sweet chilli outra vez delicioso mas pecou na falta de sal. Staff super gentil e atencioso. Realmente a única coisa que deixou a desejar foi mesmo a falta de sal. Não é bom usar sal fino de mesa porque podemos acabar por exagerar no sal, já que não foi colocado no cozimento das carnes.

Good place near the see. Friendly staff and good food. They have a lot of meat with good look but I have tried the vegetarian option which was a good surprise. I recommend it.

Visited here on my first day in Praia da Rocha, the breakfast was lovely and the staff here were very polite and welcoming. It is a bit away from the main part of the strip but the strip is quite small so it isn't a long walk to get there at all! Would definitely return whenever I come back to Praia da Rocha!

Wonderful staff and really tasty food. Staff make you feel like old friends. It's a cosy spot that serves up breakfast, lunch and dinner and cocktails, beer etc would recommend trying at least once during your visit to the area.

Attente beaucoup trop longue (même si le restaurant n'était pas bondé), nous attendions la carte des desserts qui n'est jamais arrivée, nous avons de nouveau du attendre plus de 30 minutes pour l'addition... Quant au plat, pour la viande c'est OK mais pour le reste, pomme de terre et légumes sans saveur, juste cuits à la vapeur, idem pour le poisson qui n'a pas de goût (regrettable pour un restaurant en bord de mer). Si vous allez, préférez plutôt de la viande (ribs) et des frites.
