Excellent. The staff were extremely attentive and provide a 5* customer service. Food was delightful along with the great cocktails and wine. The best place in Albufeira for a more up market dining experience with a very reasonable price.

Zeer sfeervol restaurant, het eten was super. Mooi opgediend, personeel was zeer vriendelijk, goed geadviseerd. Je zou deze kwaliteit niet op de Strip verwachten. Het was top!!!

Fantastic service and food really child friendly and the menu for children was good. My son had fillet steak which was cooked to perfection with chips and char grilled veg which was fresh and not over cooked. I had tuna with asparagus risotto very delicious and reasonably priced.

Nice surroundings but very small portions. My dinner came and was cold, heated in microwave to arrive back Luke warm. Very disappointing. Staff however were trying very hard to please us and I am sure it was genuine.

They lost a star only for being up some.steep steps and there were 2 large groups in. They were having lots of fun but the shape of the glass room meant we couldn't hear eachother across the table. The food was outstanding and the servers were friendly and knowledgeable

Un service irréprochable, super vue, gastromie au top dans l assiette et personnel parfait. Pas bon marché mais la qualité et le goût sont juste magiques. Sur 1 semaine on y est allé 3fois sans jamais être déçu.

Amazing food made with real love and attention to detail. The tuna main course is one of the best dishes I've had anywhere. Staff are fantastic too. This place is a real gem amidst a sea of neon lit tourist bars. Without a doubt this is the best restaurant in the area. Highly recommended!

Staff were fantastic. Very accommodating polite and sweet. They offered to take pictures of us becayse they could see we had dressed up for a night out.
Portions varied in size quite a lot. My good was significantly bigger than my other halves but the food was so good!

Fantastic food and incredible service, the staff were also very accommodating to my wife who is vegan and created a dish that's not on the menu.
The drinks menu is fantastic and once again I cannot express how attentive and welcoming the staff are.
This restaurant should be on your list if your visiting albufeira

Hello,
My fiancé and I went to the restaurant « the Market » in early December.
It was completely empty as we got in, but we were not worried one bit because of all the good reviews we have seen before.
And gosh let me tell you that it was just fantastic.
Service is great, the restaurant is nice and most importantly the food is really good.
Surely one of the best restaurants we have been in Albufeira and around.

What can I say about these guys......we visited here twice on our holiday including our last night. Of all the resturants we have eaten in abroad this place is by far the most enjoyable and worth every euro!
The staff were excellent and extremely knowledgeable, the chefs are perfectionists and the cocktails were superb. Cannot fault anything!
We felt very welcomed on both visits, entertained and very full! Make sure you visit here if you ever stay in the area!

Ресторан покорил нас тем, что ребенку принесли картошку почти что мгновенно. Да и все запросы взрослых членов нашей компании были удовлетворены. Блюда отличные, напитки просто божественные.
Кроме того, ресторан расположен на центральной шумной улице, но сохраняет изысканную атмосферу.

Worst service ever, bad attitude of their staffs. Food came before drinks if you don’t order cocktails. Not nice place at all. Over priced for the services. Ruined my night for my holiday. I never ever come back to this place again and rather eat kebab that cheaper and they gave you more nice service than you expecting than this restaurant. I feel like in hell to eat in this restaurant!!!!!!

Adorei!! Tudo 5 estrelas, desde à simpatia do atendimento à qualidade dos cocktails e da comida! Mesmo numa noite movimentada os empregados de mesa têm sempre tudo controlado e extremamente atenciosos! O preço é um pouco acima da média mas pela localização e pela qualidade do serviço não há problema em pagar um pouco mais. É merecido. Recomendo a visita.

So, we have had the best meal and cocktails the Algarve has to offer. The staff are simply superb, to be honest with you, we have been to many top end restaurants across Europe and this has not only surpassed expectations, it has set a new standard. Everything about this place is 5/6/7 stars! Everyone (including the chef) came to the table to make sure we are ok. The manager was also incredibly generous and made sure that not only the food and drink was above par, but made sure the experience exceeded expectations. A must book place when you are in or around Albufeira. Thank you so much for a lovely evening. Xxx

Unfortunately, the service was not as expected, it was very slow and the advertised glutenfree options could not be prepared without contamination. And the interaction with us a customer asking for the glutenfree option was not very friendly in my point of view.

Un des meilleurs restaurants que j’ai fait au Portugal ! Cocktails et vins excellents, bouteilles prestige, plats originaux , extrêmement bons et fins , personnel adorable et prix raisonnable vu la qualité du restaurant ! On est venus à 21 en haute saison et pourtant ils Ont été aux petits soins avec nous ! Vraiment une bonne adresse à garder et un passage obligatoire si vous allez en Algarve!

Ho capito perché il locale era vuoto .. rispetto a altri ristoranti frequentati in 15 giorni di permanenza ad Albufeira...Vista e posizione del ristorante ottima ma qualità media e quantità addirittura definirei scarsa.. rapporto prezzo/qualitá negativo.
Servizio comunque cortese, scelta piatti limitata

It was a nice restaurant. Had a nice meal with a group of friends while on holiday.
The only thing I didn't get is why my non-alcoholic drink was more expensive than my friend who had an alcoholic drink and her alcoholic drink was much larger than mine.

This is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. Although I was not a massive fan of albufeira when I next come to the algarve I will make sure I come back for an evening here. Hugely recommend all cocktails on the menu and the tuna loin risotto.

Cuisine excellente, cocktails à tomber (The forbidden market miam ). Personnel très agréable qui fait l'effort de parler français !
Un petit bémol car nous avons été servis très très rapidement malgré le monde présent (30 mn pour 1 cocktail et 1 plat chacun !)

A ne pas passer a côté. Côtes d'agneau cuisson parfaite , une filet de Thon avec du risotto aux asperges une régal, pulpe très tendre une explosion de saveurs a essayer , sans parler des desserts incroyable cuisine. Merci pour ce moment on reviendra.

Péssimo atendimento. Martini com água , cocktails sem nenhum gosto. Ficamos 40 min esperando para sermos servidos as bebidas. Fomos embora pois o gerente alegou restaurante lotado, ou seja,sem nenhuma estrutura !

Im großen und ganzen gibt es eine gute küche. Die iberischen schweinsrippen waren spitze, jedoch eher mini portionen für den etwas hohen preis.

We visited here having been to a place in among the strip previously
The first impressions are good, the friendly servers telling you the fresh food ethos as they seat you, and the decor appears upmarket. The cocktails are great but the beer is limited choice but ok.
I chose tuna steak with risotto and seared asparagus and the server recommended that i had it cooked medium which i was sceptical of, however i can say it was the best fish dish i have ever had, a statement the server took me to repeat to the chef at the end (they seemed very proud i had said it). The others in the party had pasta dishes which they enjoyed thoroughly but as this is my experience i can only pass on their positivity not the taste.
The deserts like the full menu were limited choice but in the best possible way this is because they focus on doing less dishes to a great standard.
Overall i rate this place very highly and it is great to feel you are slightly set back from the noisy strip in your lofty place of luxury.
As an asides the overall price was cheaper than the average touristy place we visited earlier in the week!

Wir waren das erste Mal zum Valentinsdinner im Market. Es gab ein Menu mit 5 Gängen von denen einer leckerer war als der andere. Ich habe leider nur den Nachtisch fotografiert.
Tolle Geschmackskompositionen, mit Liebe angerichtet. Dazu toller Service und probiert unbedingt die Rose Sangria, sehr lecker!
Das Ambiente mit der offenen Küche ist super, tagsüber kann man auch draußen sitzen. Die Mitarbeiter hatten Spaß bei ihrer Arbeit, dass konnte man sehen.
Die Preise sind nicht niedrig, das Preis/ Leistungs-Verhältnis ist jedoch super. Man bekommt hier richtig viel für sein Geld.
Wir kommen bald wieder!

Sehr schönes Ambiente und sehr leckere Küche. Alles hat gut geschmeckt und wurde auch für das Auge ansprechend serviert. Die Service-Chefin ist ein coole Socke und sorgt für eine gelassene Stimmung. Die Preise sind für das, was man geboten bekommt völlig in Ordnung. Kann ich jedem empfehlen, der in Albufeira essen gehen will. Auch die Cocktails waren sehr lecker und meinen Cocktail werde ich nie vergessen... zumindest vom Geschmack... der Name will mir aber nicht mehr einfallen

Tanto a carne como o peixe são frescos, pratos deliciosos entre os quais aconselho
o risotto de lima com atum , como a carne grelhada com o seu sabor unico.
Atenimento 5 estrelas , staff simpatico e prestável (mesmo sendo Agosto e estando a falar em Albufeira/Oura) em especial atenção o Sr. Jorge que é uma simpatia e o melhor para aconselhar desde as escolhas de entradas, acompanhamentos, molhos, bebidas e sobremesas . Um local a repetir

Restaurante bem situado, comida de qualidade e excelente atendimento. Fomos recebidos pelo Jorge Mateus que nos proporcionou uma excelente experiência gastronómica com bons conselhos quando tínhamos dúvidas sobre a ementa. Diferente dos restantes restaurantes na zona da Oura. Recomendo!

This is expensive. We 52 for two steaks. Steak was small. Size on menu was 200g ( 7oz). Steak was wasn't even that.

Very slow service. When arriving we were informed that the restaurant wasn’t McDonalds!! Starters were good but main courses were very disappointing and over priced!

With respect, assuming that having a wine bar in Italy I would definitely not recommend this restaurant. Very slow service, nobody pays attention. Food quality really poor compared to the price. The cocktail presentation is good actually but the quality of the product used does not correspond to the price at all. At the end a waiter brought me a double portion of chips (that I hadn't asked) charging them on the bill. When noticed that before paying, the waitress was really rude. Actually she was rude at all time, I'm very disappointed with the service I suggest to her to change job.

Great experience from start to finish. We were greeted by a friendly doorman and then looked after by professional, attentive wait staff.
The quality of the food was higher than anything we experienced on the Strip - the steak and seafood was fresh, flavourful and cooked to perfection.
We ordered a steak and grilled prawns which were HUGE.
Really nice atmosphere in the place, and the rooftop seating area makes it a nice place to observe the Strip.
Would've loved to have eaten here again before heading home!

Decidimos cenar aquí y la experiencia fue agridulce.
El camarero que nos atendió no fue muy simpático y era poco atento, pero por el contrario los demás eran polos opuestos... Muy amables.
El pulpo confitado con puré de patatas exquisito. Lo recomiendo 100%
Pero la carne de pato, muy poco pasable... Nada recomendable.
Es un sitio bonito y de buen ambiente, pero demasiado subidito.

Amazing place for food and drinks. Front of house meet and greeter was lovely, didn't get his name but he always said hello to us when we were on the strip and stopped for a chat. Probably the best spot for food on the strip.

Vor dem Restaurant steht ein Mitarbeiter, der uns aber nicht aufdringlich bequatscht sondern in Ruhe die Speisekarte hat lesen lassen.
Das Restaurant liegt im ersten Stock und ist nur über Treppen zugänglich, also nichts für Rollstuhlfahrer oder Menschen, die schlecht zu Fuß sind.
Wir haben uns einen Tisch draußen gesucht mit Blick auf die vollen Straßen Albufeiras und auch das Meer konnte man sehen. Es war etwa 18:30 Uhr und wir gehörten zu den ersten Gästen, aber das änderte sich schnell und plötzlich waren alle Tische draußen belegt.
Wir entschieden uns für eine Vorspeise aus drei verschiedenen Sorten Brot mit Tomaten- sowie Zitronenbutter. Als Hauptspeise hatten wir Conchiglioni mit Tomatensoße und Mozzarella und Thunfischfilet mit grünem Spargel Risotto. Beides war super lecker! Die Kellner waren auch aufmerksam und füllten immer wieder unsere Gläser nach (wir hatten eine Flasche Wasser). Die Preise sind absolut im Rahmen und wir haben insgesamt nicht einmal 40€ gezahlt.

On avait dit pas 2 fois dans le même restaurant durant nos vacances.. Ce fut l'exception à la règle ! Les cocktails signatures sont délicieux et surprenants par leur mélange et leur présentation. Ayant goûté plusieurs entrées, plats et desserts, je suis tombé sous le charme de leur cuisine. On maîtrise les goûts et les associations à la perfection dans cet établissement. De plus, les serveurs et le patron sont attentionnés et rigolent avec les clients malgré la barrière de la langue !
Un peu plus cher que la moyenne, attendez vous à des prix français mais cela vaut le détour.

Une excellente adresse lorsque on et pas servir par un handicapé qui a un bandage à la main et qui fait croire qui comprend le français je précise la date 24/06/2019 qui confond saumon et un morceau de viande malgré tout le deuxième serveur qui et mince à était adorable et a remonter le niveau. Et à essayer de comprendre le problème merci à lui et le pourboires et que pour lui et son professionnalisme. Cordialement un touriste français.

Tuvimos la cena de despedida de soltero de un amigo sevillano. La verdad es que calidad precio muy subidos a la parra. Comer mal, no. Pero tampoco de lujo, ni mucho menos. Entiendo quizá que les flipe a los extranjeros, pero se me quedó muy corto con las expectativas que teníamos.

Das Ambiente ist OK, modern offen . Essen ist gut aber für portugiesische Verhältnisse teuer. Getränke auch gut allerdings überteuert. Ich denke mit etwas suchen finden man für den Preis eine bessere Leistung.

A nice addition to the strip offering a more upmarket experience. We enjoyed our food but felt that everything was on the pricey side. However we still enjoyed the experience. Marked down slightly due to recommending three times that I try a fragrant sweet cocktail because they sell it to people as the 'lady's cocktail' when what I wanted (and ordered after saying no to the other one three times) was apparently the spicy cocktail recommended for men!

Place is not great.. thought it would be great from what I heard and read from previous reviews and people who thought it was fab.. my partner loved his steak but I got the Parma and mushroom pitza and it was horrible.. was like chewing gum and no flavour to it.. got two main courses and a pint of beer, glass of red wine and water.. Bill came to €65... left a bitter after taste considering ... never going back.. staff were lovely in fairness but even when someone eats less than 1/4 of their meal and tells them it was awful nothing else was offered or a discount even..
