Good food but only tourists! The staff is kind but you feel that the boss is playing a game to charm the tourists. I appteciated that they agreed to make their dish without cream so that i can eat it. The decoration is nice and this is a cozy place. They don't take credit cards as most of the restaurants in this city.

Great tapas restaurant. My husband and I have had a couple of late lunch/early dinners here. Great service from the fab João and Philippa. The decor is really eclectic and modern fresh design and very clean. Offering comfortable seating inside and out. More importantly the food is fabulous and very tasty, well presented dishes. Every dish is prepared fresh. They have a great selection of homemade desserts and a good selection of wine/alcoholic beverages on offer. A must visit for those that enjoy great food with excellent customer experience/service. One of our favourite eateries in Lagos. Definitely will be a regular for us

Très bonne adresse sur Lagos, jeune et colorée dans la décoration comme la cuisine.
Bons burgers, belles assiettes de pâtes noires. Ingrédients frais préparés "minute".
Sangria au top, et belle sélection de vins à la bouteille ou au verre.
Service efficace, jeune et souriant.
Établissement légèrement excentré, dommage car sa qualité mérite plus de visibilité :-)

The food was acceptable for a place catering for school kids & students.
The service was very lazy and rude. When my girlfriend choked on a piece of dry food and we asked for some water he ignored us three times, continuing to joke around with his colleagues. In the end another staff member helped us. And our waiter had the nerve to be angry at us instead of saying sorry.
We've visited Saibos in August 2018 after the host of Chill'Inn guest house recommended it.

Place is (interestingly) well decorated and cosy (vintage chairs are very comfortable!). Staff is amazingly helpful and friendly and can speak well English and French.
The food was very yummy and the homemade desert to die for.
Additionally, there's a lot of options for vegetarians and vegans.
I would definitely recommend and come back again!

I genuinely feel sorry for all those who never get to eat here! To come to Lagos and miss this place would be a tragedy.. Best meal of Portugal! The avocado with prawns and the wild salmon black linguini where so fresh and perfectly paired with a liquor recommended by the AMAZING staff. We didn’t have room for desert but we couldn’t leave without trying the banana cream pie. We were in pure bliss! 10/10!!! We will come back for sure over the next few days in Lagos.

Einrichtung ist eher zufällig zusammengestellt. Bedienung kam ewig nicht, erst nach extra "rufen". Pommes waren mies, Bürger war gut.

A éviter absolument! 2h d'attente, 3 erreurs dans la commande et en plus pas bon. Les crevettes les pires de Lagos...et le serveur qui se plaint d'être seul c'est vrai qu'il préfère discuter avec ses nombreux amis qui viennent le voir bref après 2 semaines de délice a lagos on a raté notre départ

We had calamares that came out of a freezer and avocado with a shrimp cocktail that we had to return as the sauce was not so fresh. Same for potatoes brava. Very disappointing experience. Staff was friendly but had no knowledge of the wines on the menu.

Very nice restaurant, with a variety of food such as tapas, pasta, salads and burgers. We both ordered beef burgers with chips. The burger was very delicious (you can choose how you want the patties done); it came in a seeded bun and the burger was topped with cheese, tomato bacon and some kind of caramelized onion relish which was very nice. The chips were home made which was a plus but they were a tiny bit soggy inside. The service was nice, the server was very friendly. Overall it was a very nice and enjoyable meal. The prices are decent with mains at around 9-14e. I would come back here to try other dishes.

Ich kann mich nur den anderen Bewertungen anschließen: sehr nette Bedienung, wirklich gutes Essen ( die Chorizo Wurst von den Tapas wird in einer Schweine-Tonform am Tisch in Flammen gesetzt - sehr sehenswert)
Auch Veganer werden hier sehr glücklich!!!!
Die Einrichtung finde ich kreativ, aber eher ein bisschen Ikea-Kinder-Restaurant.
Absolut empfehlenswert!!!

Attente de 45 minutes avant d’avoir juste une simple bouteille d’eau, pas de couverts, aucun aliment et voir débarqué 3 bâtonnets de carotte au bout d’une Heure ... le cuistot a dû les découper avec amour pour mettre autant de temps à le faire.
Nous sommes partis avant même de recevoir les plats, service NAZE !!!!!

Um restaurante de decoração diferente, bons petiscos, boa bebida e simpatia no atendimento.
Só não gostei do local onde está situado, estacionamento nem pensar só a uns bons 10 minutos a pé e ao anoitecer a frequência na zona não é a melhor.

Loved the tapas. I had the mussels, chicken wings and calamari all of which were excellent. The burger wasn't the best one I've had but it was still quality and worth ordering. I would get pasta if I were to return here.

Food was average calamari and white sangria was ok
But the shrimp pasta and bolognese spaghetti on the kids menu was very basic
The thaï spaghetti was awful. Not thai at all
The saibos burger was raw
You are better off spending your money elsewhere

Habe hier außerhalb der Saison einen superleckeren und von den Kompositionen interessanten vegetarischen Burger gegessen. Dazu gibt es noch Pommes mit Schale dran. War sehr lecker. Toller Service, der homemade ice-tea hat mich zwar nicht so umgehauen, aber das kann auch nur Geschmeckssache sein.

I found this place by chance and it was good. Pastas was really good and tasty, risotto a bit disappointed me but in my opinion you can give a chance to this place. Staff friendly and helpful.

Wir waren diese Saison in vielen Restaurants in Lagos und während die meisten anderen ganz passende Bewertungen hatten, war Saibos deutlich besser als es die Bewertung suggerierte. Absolut unser Lieblingsrestaurant.

Sehr nette und moderne Tapas-Bar etwas abseits der touristischen Restaurants. Es gibt sehr leckere Tapas aber auch selbstgemachte Hamburger und Sangria. Das Personal ist jung, freundlich und motiviert. Obwohl in zentraler Lage kann man hier dem touristischen Tribel etwas entfliehen.

A nossa noite começou muito mal, fomos muito mal atendidas em sitios onde vamos há mais de 20 anos.
Chegámos ao Saibos e fomos atendidas que nem umas princesas! Excelente serviço e a comida estava deliciosa!!!! O ambiente é super descontraído e agradável! Recomendadissimo

Awful food, one particularly rude waiter, why ask what the food is like if you don't like an honest answer? I could elaborate on the bad experience but it would not make any difference as this place is right in the tourist trap and therefore will keep packing them in whatever they serve up.

Piccolo ristorante in una vietta del centro, nella nostra settimana di permanenza a Lagos abbiamo cenato quì due volte e ci siamo trovati sempre molto bene. L'interno non è molto grande ma un posticino l'abbiamo sempre trovato, i camerieri sono molto cortesi e siamo riusciti a spiegarci anche in italiano. Abbiamo provato la bruschetta speciale ed era davvero buona, ingredienti molto ricercati e ben abbinati, abbiamo provato poi il risotto ed era superiore alle nostre aspettative. I tempi di attesa sono giusti considerando il periodo di piena, d'altronde siamo in pieno agosto e siamo pure in vacanza, direi che anche se si aspetta un po' per mangiare non succede nulla. Assolutamente consigliato.

Alle Speisen im Saibos sind zu empfehlen (wir waren die letzten beiden Abende des Aufenthalts im Saibos)...es schmeckt wirklich alles sehr lecker...aber die Tapas Chorizo ist unschlagbar

Cameriere scortese e non attento ai commensali... attesa infinita sia per portarti da bere che da mangiare. Non hanno la carta di credito per pagare e solo contanti!. Da fuori è ben arredato ma è solo uno specchietto per allodole. Sedie e tavoli esterni scomodo vicini con gente che ti fuma addosso. Scontrino del conto sbagliato 3 volte, alla fine abbiamo lasciato perdere pur di andarcene... Per un piatto di pasta siamo stati li 4h... Evitatelo!!!

We found this excellent restaurant by accident. Did not get disappointed. We were amazed how friendly the staff was and how cosy and comfortable the restaurant is. The food was excellent and their house wine (red and white) were great. If you should go and visit the place, try the Tunasteak Burger and the Bruschetta with Roastbeef. I was blown away.

Good, friendly service. Bruchetta as starter/tapa was suprisingly good. After that I had a Saibos burger, it was quite nice and big. Tapas that where served out to other guests looked good aswell! Was surprisingly better than expected.

Wow! Stumbled onto this place, we will be back. We chose 4 tapas, all good starter size. Soo much taste!! Tuna carpaccio, spicy mussels, calamares, Monchique chorizo. We finished eating the sauce, incredible. Could not resist chocolate and coconut cake, while we don't normally eat dessert haha. Thank you for the best meal so far!

Wir waren heute zu viert dort und hatten einen perfektes Mittagessen im SAiBOS. Die Einrichtung ist schön bunt und das Restaurant ist sehr sauber und mit Geschmack eingerichtet. Wir hatten Burger und Salat. Alle Gerichte waren mit Sorgfalt angerichtet und sehr sehr lecker. Das Personal war sehr zu vorkommend und total nett. Ein perfektes Restaurant, wenn man auf keinen Massentourismus Lust hat :)

The food was fine. Had calamari to start; they were perfectly rounded and very bready so I would guess from a packet and not produced onsite. So while fine they were definitely nowhere near the best I've ever sampled. The main was a chicken burger. Again it was fine but this course was only just warm which meant it wasn't overly enjoyable. The bottle of vinho Verde reserva was very nice; the best part of the meal. Service was good. Overall not a bad choice but definitely not a 4+ establishment

Muito bom! Alguns problemas de liderança na cozinha (ouvimos alguma exaltação vinda lá de dentro) mas estava tudo bom, desde a oferta da ementa, ao conceito em si, passando pela decoração e, o principal, a comida. Não gosto de repetir restaurantes, mas este merecerá uma vizita mais, certamente.

Sehr nettes Lokal. Die Einrichtung ist sehr liebevoll. Das Personal ist extrem freundlich. Die Kuchen sind extrem lecker! Die Burger sind groß und lecker. Die Nudeln würde ich nicht unbedingt empfehlen, hier sollte man halt zum Italiener gehen.

Actually it's pretty good. But it was already better. Thanks pasta dishes simply contain too much garlic. I ordered the same 6 month ago and it was much better. The fries are very good and the kid's menu as well.

Um sítio maravilhoso no centro histórico de uma cidade encantadora.
Somos uma família com dois filhos e desde a comida que é servida ao atendimento e local é soberbo.
Sentimos o ambiente familiar e a descontração assim que entramos.
O espaço é cuidadosamente decorado e as refeições são mimos não só gastronómicos como visuais.
Recomendamos e voltamos.

Schlechtes Essen und sehr lange Wartezeiten (1.5h). Der 'gehypte' Burger ist zwar komplett selbst gemacht, war aber sehr trocken und nichts besonderes. Dieses Restaurant kann ich ganz und gar nicht weiterempfehlen. Ein weiterer Kritikpunkt sind die für die gelieferte Qualität übertrieben hohen Preise. In Lagos gibt es weitaus bessere Lokale.

During our holiday in Lagos my husband and I discovered this amazing restaurant. We went there twice, not because we didn't have other options, just because we loved their food and service. It's outstanding from all points of view. The place itself has a nice and simple decor, compared with some others. The food is unbelievable, you must try the seafood curry or the pink tuna stake with marinated onions. The portions are not huge but big enough, and you have some room left for their awesome desserts. We loved the mango cheesecake, it was amazing! Go for it and you will have no regrets.

For starters we had the calamari tapas. I had the sea bass and my husband the prawn salad. The food and coffees were good. Staff was very friendly. We have nothing to complain. 5 stars from us.

Great food, good service and a very cozy environment. All the fish dishes are well prepared and with fresh fishes. Give your self the chance to try the desserts, specially the quindim.

Um restaurante em que um grupo de amigos (5 pessoas) @não pode pagar cada um o seu prato por multibanco, claramente que não está a ter a melhor abordagem. Pior, a empregada rir-se da situação porque queria cada um pagar a sua conta (coisa mais banal em qualquer restaurante pronto para receber grupos de amigos) é ridículo. Não aconselho, além do mais a relação qualidade/preço não compensa. Não recomendo.

Great restaurant and very friendly staff. The monkfish curry might be the best curry I ever tasted. I recommend the mango cheesecake and the brownies. A fantastic place to eat when you're in Lagos.

Das Essen war lecker, gerade die Tapas, nur leider hat es in meiner Hauptspeise etwas an Würze gefehlt und unser Nachtisch war etwas lasch. Im Großen und Ganzen aber trotzdem ein lohnenswerter Besuch.

SO DELICIOUS! We only had 2 days in Lagos and we came back twice to this family owned restaurant because the food was amazing.Would go back again & again. Definitely try the coconut prawns!

Um espaço muito bem decorado, divertido com um ambiente muito agradável.
O staff é muito simpático, disponível e amistoso, sempre a sugerir o melhor e disposto a nos surpreender com os diversos pratos do menu.
