Pedi um tomahawk que pelo cardápio falava que viria 1kg. Mas o que veio foi 200g de carne com osso que pesava no Max 300g. Paguei perto de 80,00 euros. Achei um absurdo!

Lecker, aber aufgrund der Vielzahl an Gästen blieb doch etwas auf der Strecke. Ist aber auch nicht immer Einfach. Trotzdem tolles Restaurant, tolle Küche und Ambiente! Empfehlenswert.

Great restaurant in Quinta do Lago. If you are looking for a nice and juicy steak that's the place to be. Friendly and helpful staff and an amazing environment. It's also suitable for families with kids. They do also have a children area.

Visited in January for dinner and was fairly quiet. Nice upmarket steak restaurant offering a small selection of non steak dishes. We had the taster menu and have to say the food was plentiful and really excellent. Service was good too! Highly recommended!

bin jetzt während meinem 8 Tagesaufenthalt gleich zweimal da gewesen was für das Restaurant spricht. Modernster, schickester Standard mit Top Essen und klasse Ambiente. Würde sagen ein Trend Laden der derzeit zu den angesagtesten an der Algarve gehört aber auch Klasse Essen bietet.

Amazing food. Steaks and sides both very well presented and fab flavour. Gave us reading glasses as we'd forgotten ours. Not cheap. Nice setting.

It was great service and food. The chistorra sausages were unreal for a starter. Then the Ribeye with bernaise sauce was delicious.

Disappointingly average... Great location and beautiful design, but incredibly slow service and inconsistencies with food quality. Partners meal was on point, mine was incorrectly cooked with soggy accompaniments. I should have sent it back, but was too polite to express disappointment. A real let down experience and one I won’t be quick to repeat.

My husband and I was at Magnolia hotel they recommend us Bovino and honestly its was excellent cocktails ,wine and the meats was amazing , tasty . The staff was really welcoming and very good service , they look after you very well. Well Done Ireland , sláinte .

Attended a very large corporate lunch, menu was surf and turf buffet. Fantastic food even at that scale. Beautiful setting.

Great steaks and cocktails in an attractive setting with generally very good service. The high prices and far-from-intimate massive layout prevent a five star rating. If you’re having a pre-dinner cocktail, have it on the roof to watch the sunset.

Wonderful location, dreadful service. Maybe I was unlucky on this occasion as there was plenty of young staff that were more interested in each other than the diners, we served our own wine and when the goats chess filo parcels were sent back because the pastry was raw it seemed to be par for the course. There appears to be no manager or anyone in charge. Very disappointed as a restaurant it has everything to make it a wonderful spot for a memorable dinner sadly that is where it ended for me

Great Steakhouse, wonderful food and very family friendly. Playground was out of use however due to the end of the season which was disappointing.

Very nice restaurant, both for the decor and the food/drink. Service is very good, our staff were helpful and attentive yet not overcrowding. All of our meals were tasty, my lamb rack was cooked perfectly. Definitely worth a visit, being able to sit outdoors during a warm evening is a definite bonus. Amazing toilets!

Bovino Steakhouse is an interesting concept mixing steak, wood, poor service, a nice venue, a lottery on getting a table and random phone calls confirming or cancelling your bookings. Its more of an experience than a restaurant but not one I would recommend. We have attempted to eat here 5 times and on 2 occasions actually managed to get food in to our mouths. In all seriousness before my rant on our last (and final) attempt to eat at Bovino I will balance the review by saying the food is good (not great and if you want a steak you will find better locally such as Tucanos) and the venue outside is really nice for a special occasion but it is expensive and oh that unique Bovino service. So what happened on our last visit that made me feel I should write this and what can/should you expect. Firstly the booking system online is a breeze, it actually is made to lull you in to a false sense of security and the first rule of Bovino is dont believe you have a booking or a table until you are sat with food on your actual fork. We had eaten there a week previous after booking a week out. We tried to book again on the Tuesday but after securing a seat we recieved the 'Bovino call' which is a bit like the call in the movie the Ring where the call comes in and a few hours later you meet your doom. When the call came in I was told I was going to be sat inside. Now for people who havent been to Bovino the interior is very much like a Miller and Carter restaurant in the UK, that is to say it is wooden. This works in the UK generating a cosy atmosphere vs. the 32 degree heat on the Algarve. I chose not to spend my dinner in a log cabin and cancelled the booking. I rebooked for the Thursday assured there were outside tables. Thursday came and my afternoon siesta was disturbed by a phone ringing... the Bovino call. The restaurant assured me there was nothing wrong and that I would be sat outside and I went back to my day feeling a sense of dread. When we arrived at the restaurant we joined the back of the queue as customers are checked in; sadly the reception has to match up your name on the computer with a paper drawing one of the children drew in the playground. When it was my turn it took 10 minutes for her to get my name right, find my booking and locate the table on her 'map', quite an achievement given they appear to have my mobile on speed dial and my name has four letters. As we made our way through the restaurant I smiled at other restaurant go-ers who looked concerned as they navigate a menu with more extras than a thai massage parlour. As we are lead outside we find ourselves positioned right next to the outdoor kitchen. This is perfect seat for those of you looking to top up your tan on oneside of your face or smokers looking to save on cigarettes. Amazingly they also cover this area with a tent to make sure they keep the heat in and the light out. I make my way back to the front desk to see the check in staff but am beaten by my waitress who spots either my annoyance or the fact I was already showing signs of heatstroke and she identifies another table. On my way outside I lose the waitress; concerned for her safety and if she has slipped I make my way back to find her barking orders and an old chap who she has setting up our table inside. Disturbed I went outside to talk to the family and tell them I am having doubts and on the way back in I find Bovino has replaced my family with another at our original table (my kids stuff still in place); annoyed I ask if they can move me to one of the many empty tables outside but to no avail apparently we had walked in to a convention for the invisible and all tables were taken. Needless to say we walked out anyway the key take aways; book way in advance, make it clear you want to be outside and not by the kitchen and enjoy the atmosphere when you are there. If you are inside dont bother and if you are purely going for the food maybe consider Tucanos for steaks or Casa do Lago for fish and dont expect your service with a smile or any flexibility when they screw up.

Good steaks and sides. Bad everything else. If you want a steak in Quinta, go to Parilla Natural, not here. The service was very inconsistent - it was very hard to get held of a waiter at any point and eventually we dealt almost exclusively with one of the bar staff as our designated waiter seemed to have just given up. The duck salad to start was also laughably poor - some undressed lettuce with thee very small slices of duck doesn’t constitute a €12.50 starter. When we told the guy after he asked if everything was ok, he just laughed and said “small, right?”. I mean it was, but that wasn’t the point. The steaks were decent, what you’d expect for the €30-€50 per head price point (before you get to the wagus), as we’re the sides, but that doesn’t make a good restaurant by itself. Tried it because it’s new and one of the few places with availability in Aug (turns out there’s a reason for that). Won’t be going back.

Excellent venue, very well set and good service however rather disappointing steak. I had a New York steak and was rather tasteless. Way overpriced.

A very good steak place over looking the lake from the top of the hill. Very good menu selection with some excellent cuts of steak. Loved it and highly recommended.

Bcp aimé ce restaurant de viandes, l’ambiance La déco à l’anglaise , le service professionnel, la viande succulente à souhait tout était parfait l’accord des vins , le sommelier m’a fait goûter 4 vins jusqu’à ce que je trouve mon bonheur , c’est rare de nos jours... Les prix par contre grimpent vite notamment avec le vin , au verre et les accompagnements qu’il faut payer en plus de la viande , dommage car c’était Vraiment excellent , clientèle riche et plutôt anglaise , très cher pour le Portugal , mais je recommande pour tout le reste Ah oui autre remarque je pense que c’est à la mode car vécu ça dans plusieurs restaurants en Algarve on a une ribambelle de serveurs différents qui s’occupent de nous , certes le service était impeccable mais c’est dommage pour le partage et le lien , on voit plus celui du début et on part c’est un autre ...

Lovely location, children welcome, menu a little limited - it being a steak house - but the reason for three stars is our service was pretty dire to be honest. Hoping for a better experience next time.

We had the chateaubriand and it was beautifully cooked and delicious, and there was so much meat we couldn't finish it between my wife and I! Would definitely recommend. Good atmosphere and wine too.

O Café Curto foi ao Bovino Steakhouse na Quinta do Lago. Este restaurante de ambiente formal anuncia serviço e carnes de excelente qualidade. O serviço é excelente, a equipa é muito simpática, logo na entrada recomendo que experimente uma bebida no Bar mesmo que não tenha de esperar por mesa. Se não beber álcool, refira isso ao barman e deixe que ele dê asas à imaginação, os cocktails valem mesmo a pena. O ambiente é bastante agradável, a sala é muito ampla com uma decoração rústica bastante acolhedora. A carne é realmente como dizem, é maturada e realmente vale cada cêntimo. As sobremesas são de comer e chorar por mais, decididamente a não perder, é um crime vir aqui e não pedir sobremesa. A garrafeira também é outra relíquia desta casa, vinhos muito bem seleccionados para todos os gostos e quase todos os preços. Confesso que não é dos restaurantes mais baratos que já fui, mas temos de ter também em conta o local onde se encontra e a grande exigência do tipo de cliente que todos os dias procura esta casa. Great steak restaurant where you can enjoy a lovely scenery (garden) and your kids can also enjoy a babysitted park with activities for the little ones. I went there with my 4 and 6 years old and only saw them for main course and desert!
