In een verlaten steegje zit een authenthieke portugees restaurant. Verassend oud en mooi van binnen. Maar het eten was subliem! Heerlijk bereidt, goed van smaak en zeer goede bediening.

By far the best place to have dinner around the area and portimao. The atascado shrimp is super special and delicious. Sangria great and service exceptional!

Awful, expensive , waitress from Yorkshire didn’t have a clue what was on the menu, called Pedro who we had to wait for while he sat non reserved diners. Asked If sea bream or sea bass was more delicate flavour he said bass, the most fishy flavour , luckily I could swap with my husband , expensive AVOID

Decoração agradável, bom ambiente, staff simpático. Quanto à comida apenas testámos as tapas, várias e todas muito boas. A sobremesa tarte algarvia é muito boa e então se acompanhada de uma aguardente de medronho, fica a matar.

Были на 14 февраля. Очень понравилось. Меню на закуску подавали креветки в соусе в авокадо в тарелке из слоёного теста. На горячее можно выбрать или рыбу или утку. На десерт подавали шоколадный мусс с мятой. К утке положили печенки из картоф пюре и обощной бочонок, кот стоял на баклажановом круге, кот оастаял во рту в один миг. Мясо было приготовлено вкусно, прожарка ни сухая, ни сырая, как надо. Таяла во рту со сливовым джемом и ибискусом. Так же можно было сделать заказ по карте, но пришлось подождать немного. Интерьер напоминает немного испанский стиль. Удобные кожаные стулья. Хочу посоветовать этот ресторан на все случаи жизни

It was a great visit. Very cosy and atmospheric place combined with tasty and reasonably priced food, which is not that common in a touristy location.
Very appreciated the friendly service and the house medronho (wild strawberry spirit). My hubby was happy to recall his younger years spent in Alvor and Portimão.

Amazing, exceptional. One of the best I had on holiday. Very special with Chorizo barbecued at your table, wonderful tuna, chicken. Everything perfectly prepared. Super friendly service! What a great experience.

Wir waren im September da,saßen oben,weil wir rauchen wollten...
Ich bestelle das Filet Steak da war ne fette Sehne drin und der gar Punkt war auch nicht getroffen, die Beilagen waren matschig...nicht zu empfehlen

This is an excellent restaurant. The inside is really unusual and has a lovely atmosphere. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The food is superb, everything we had was fresh, full of flavour and delicious. A real gem of a place.

Good food, some interesting menu dishes such as black pork which I understand is from pigs fed in acorns in the forests. Nice place inside too, looks like it's been recreated as an old winery or similar, quite smart.
The service is relaxed, very relaxed, which is a polite way of saying too relaxed. The staff are polite and knowledgeable about their dishes, but just not quite attentive enough. It's not the worst problem, I'd just like to wait a few minutes less to be served and between courses. It didn't ruin the meal and I'll definitely return again.

Arrived early (7pm) to get a rooftop table and was 7.45 when the restaurant was packed! Read the reviews for pigs cheeks and they were truly melt in your mouth enjoyable! Sunset over the rooftops worth it too! It’s off the beaten track(50m) away from the maddening crowd but the secret has been let out and it is full most evenings so get there early or pre-book!

We had a lovely meal, our daughter had the clams for starters I had the garlic mushrooms and my husband had the flame grilled sausage..Which were all fabulous, I then had the fillet of sea bass stuffed with prawns which was delicious our daughter had the steak but wasn't overly gone on it, my husband had the ribs which he enjoyed..All in all we had a lovely time..

Lovely food and friendly staff. This restaurant has only been open for 2 years and is situated in one of the small streets in Alvor. Worth finding. We had duck and lamb shank which were both delicious, we will certainly return during our annual visit to Alvor. I would suggest booking as witnessed a lot of disappointed people but able to get a table.

Discovered this restaurant tonight....what a gem. Goats cheese vol Le vent was delicious. Chicken livers melted in the mouth and the chicken in orange sauce was so tender. Very reasonably priced.

Love love love this little gem of a place . Found it on our last visit 2 years ago when it had just opened in 2016 , we paid 3 visits in 11 nights. Food is fabulous , portions very generous and staff are fantastic . Vitor and his colleague are so friendly and helpful , they just make the place so special . 2 visits again this trip and will definitely be back again next time ...... until then we wish them every success.
P.S the clams and fig/almond/carob cake are to die for ......

The food was expensive for was it was not seasoned very well no bread with any starters. Steak I ordered was fillet medium it was served rare. Sent it back and was served beef instead of fillet. Would not go back

Best restaurant in Alvor. We make many trips to Alvor each year and this restaurant is by far my favourite in every way. Fabulous food, fantastic service and helpful and friendly staff. Our first choice to bring family and friends. If asked for our recommendation for restaurants it’s top of the list by far.

Fantastisch restaurant, prachtige locatie, die wel echt verstopt ligt in een steegje in Alvor. Heerlijk eten voor een goede prijs. Probeer hier de verrukkelijke zeebaars! Vriendelijke bediening. Goede wijn.

Op aanraden van een lokale verkoper naar dit restaurant gegaan. Hier heerlijk gegeten op het dakterras. De Filet Dorade was heerlijk met aardappelen en verse groenten. Een toppertje.
