Incredible lunch offer. The butter chicken is delicious and the food arrives quickly. Staff is polite and efficient. Varmly recommend it.

Had lunch here recently and the food was delicious. I have been to many Indian restaurants and this is one of the better ones. I would happily go back here. The staff were also nice and the free WiFi was helpful. When we were there, they were closing between lunch and dinner so that's worth taking into account if you're planning a visit.

Después de haber comido en muchos restaurantes indios , aquí no se todavía lo que nos pusieron. El arroz pulao era bazmati con curcuma , sin especia ninguna , el tikka masala olia y sabia a queso fundido como si fuera pizza , además lo pedimos medio picante y eso parecía el fuego del infierno , y por último el pollo pakora era pollo a la brasa simplemente con pimentón picante por encima. Los precios son muy caros para la calidad de la comida , y no te ponen el típico papadum de entrante con dos salsas.

Me and my friends were on a vacation to Lagos for four days. We planned to visit old town during our stay and this very beautiful day we went for our excursion to see the caves and after the excursion we planned to visit old town. As it was approaching lunch time we popped in to this restaurant without knowing it will be a worse nightmare of our holiday. We ordered our food and some drinks and being a tourist we didn’t know the opening times and closing times(we are on holiday I don’t need to really think of timings) so we ordered some more drinks and waiter took our order and came back with drinks. Five minutes later he comes back and asked us to finish our drinks and leave as they were closing(which they never mentioned before taking order or before we sat on the table). We told the waiter we will leave as soon as we finish drinks and of course we can’t just down our drinks. So waiter absolutely went out of order and started arguing like a maniac. He also ASKED IF WE HAVE JOBS how dare! To top all this he mentioned he does not let Indian come to his restaurant and does not offer service/table to Indians. SO IF YOU ARE INDIAN YOU KNOW YOU ARE NOT WELCOMED. - ONE WORD RACIST and please avoid if you can. Wish I can give ZERO STARS

Our experience started off really well ordered food and drinks which we enjoyed no complaints, so we decided to order some more drinks and enjoy sitting outside the waiter took the order brought them out and said we are closing. We explained he should have mentioned when he took the second order that they are closing he became very rude and said we should have looked at the closing time who does that when they go out esspecally as tourist. He coukd have either said these are last orders or said sorry guys we are closing instead of becoming abusive and waiting on our heads for us to finish. Would not recommend they are arrogant rude and also rasist.☹

Visited Kohinoor during our holiday to Portugal at the end of April 19. We ordered lunch and some drinks. The afternoon was going really well. We ordered more drinks when they arrived the restaurant decided to inform us they are closing in 5mins and we should drink up. When we spoke to one member of staff they were very abusive and told me i should know when they close. I was asked if I had a job and they didn't like serving Asian people and should not have taken my order. I have never been abused like this very arrogant staff/manager. They need lessons in customer service. Please reconsider before you go here as they don't like Indian customers. Very disappointed and cant believe how places like this can carry on operating like this. Disgusting abusive place. Rakesh

De lekkerste Indische restaurant in Lagos. Heerlijk vers eten. Op smaak. Zeer goede porties. De lekkerste mango lassi vind je hier. Super lekker zoals de mango lassi moet zijn. De prijzen zijn zeer aantrekkelijk. Het personeel is zeer behulpzaam en erg vriendelijk. Van binnen is de restaurant erg sfeervol. Buiten zijn genoeg plekken om te zitten. Een aanrader!

Extrem leckeres Essen!!! Die Pakoras (Chicken und Käse) vorweg mit Tamarinden- und Joghurt-Minz-Dip waren mega lecker. Papadam gab es leider nicht, das muss man extra ordern und bezahlen. Danach gabs Lamm Madras, scharf. Und es war scharf :) Freundin hatte Lamm Psanda. Dazu ein Garlic Naan. Die Portionen sind echt groß, die Vorspeisen hätten wir auch weglassen können hehe. Aber es war einfach gut!! Und das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Jederzeit wieder.

We enjoyed very nice meals for lunch. They have many dishes to choose from. We enjoyed all our choices, all treated great and we're enjoyable. The price is in line with the other Indian restaurant in the area. The food arrived quickly and was hot and enjoyable.

Para ser nuestra primera vez en un restaurante indio, una experiencia horrible. Llegamos y pedimos mesa para dos, no nos dijeron nada pasando varias veces al lado nuestra sin hacernos caso. Esperamos unos 10 min para que nos dieran una mesa, habiendo varias libres. Despues de preguntar si habia mesa dentro, se rie y nos da una fuera, y le preguntamos a otro camarero si habia mesa libre arriba. Al fin nos ponen arriba con mesas a 10 cm de nosotros, y nos pasamos 30 min llamandolos hasta que deciden tomarnos nota. La comida llegó 15 min después, nos resultó demasiado picante, que aunque fuera asi, tampoco había referencia del grado de spicy de cada plato y tampoco nos informaron de nada. En resumen atencion pesima, sitio cutre y comida medianamente comestible. Hay muchos mas sitios para cenar bien en Lagos como para perder el tiempo y el dinero aqui.

Probably one of the best Indian restaurant I ate. The lunch menu are not expensive and the food is great.
If you want to eat something different than the typical Portuguese food, do not hesitate to come here.

Infelizmente a nossa experiência neste restaurante foi péssima. Deixamos uma estrela porque o cheese nan era realmente muito bom. Pedimos um vegetais balti e a explicação que nos foi dada é que podiamos decidir picante de 0 ao 3 , pedimos picante 1 que segundo a explicação era bastante suave. Quando chegou a mesa foi impossível de comer falamos com o empregado que nos disse vou ter que cobrar por causa do patrão. Não nos foi dada nenhuma opção ou solução. Pagamos 26€ para comer pão e arroz. Nao recomendo. Atençao ao cliente NEGATIVA

Fomos muito mal recebidos, o garçom foi mal educado, não respondia as nossas perguntas, decidimos sair e novamente fomos mal tratados, ainda tivemos que ouvir que não poderiamos sentar a mesa e nos retirar. Não sei a respeito da comida mas o atendimento é péssimo.

Welcoming and attentive staff. The waiter took the time to explain their spice scale to us. Great Indian food all round. Good portions and we'll priced. Only downside is that we won't be able to eat there again!

Meilleur indien que j'ai pu manger dans ma modeste vie!!!
Je mange régulièrement dans des restaurants autant asiatiques qu'indiens, niveau gustatif comme l'accueil, c'est la meilleure expérience que j'ai pu avoir jusqu'à maintenant!
Attente un peu longue, mais quand on voit le résultat, l'attente paraît tout d'un coup bien courte.

En janvier, TOUT est fermé mais nous sommes attirés par la bonne odeur de curry qui flotte dans la principale rue des restaurants de Lagos. Accueil sans plus, nourriture sans plus et finalement un peu cher pour le train de vie local. Nous étions les.seuls clients ce dimanche midi, à l'intérieur et on se gelait car la porte était grande ouverte derrière nous.

Fabulous luch time set menu. Def worth a visit. Update Oct 19. No set menu as I guess it was still high season. We had lamb bhuna and lamb balti. I asked for mine to be spicey. Other than the fact that mine was spicy I would say there wasn't a big deal of difference between the two dishes. The sprinkling of fresh coriander was a nice touch, but am not sure that it didn't take some if the suttle flavours away. Over all its still good value on the menu. I'd say it's not the best carry I have had recently. Probably 3.8 stars, but you can't do that so I have left the review at 4 stars.

My wife and I visited the Kohinoor restaurant in February 2018. Till this day I think about how good the food is. It is the best Indian food I have ever had in my life and that is an understatement. The flavours match the freshness of the ingredients. Every dish was perfect. The hospitality was second to none as the owner of the restaurant sat down with us as we exchanged stories about our heritage and travels. If you are ever in Lagos, Portugal this restaurant is a must.
To the owner: I apologize for such a late reply we have recently been travelling and we have yet to find another Indian restaurant as good as yours. Keep up the great service.

We were here a couple of years ago and didnt think much of it. We tried it again last night and its still the same. Food is acceptable but nothing to shout about. I can think of at least 3 other better Indian restaurants in the area. Service should always be with a smile.

La comida está bien pero tampoco es nada del otro mundo.
Tardan en atenderte, tardan en cobrarte pero no en servirte la comida.
Es caro en relación calidad-precio. Una botella de agua grande 3 euros y una coca cola de grifo servida en un vaso, lo mismo.
Para salir de un apuro esta bien, sino te recomiendo otros restaurantes en Lagos.

3 star is possibly a little harsh but it’s not a 4. Food was ok, but bland, lacking depth of flavour. I guess they are trying to accommodate a breadth of preferences. Service was fine, as was the beer.

Amazing food! Best Indian food in Lagos. I had the channa masala and palak paneer. Both dishes had the right spices and tasted authentic! Naan was fluffy and soft. Overall the food, atmosphere and service was outstanding. Would recommend this to anyone in Lagos.

Really loved how friendly and welcoming they were which is not evident from the outside. It was cool outside but warm inside. Food was really good and very well priced. I have found many businesses in Lagos not that friendly and they were and food is great so I hope you give them a chance

The restaurant is small and a bit dark. But the food is great. Had butter chicken medium spicy which was just perfect. Very aromatic. The chicken pieces were tender & jucy. The naan bread was a bit too doughy for my taste. Like it better if it's more crispy. But it was made fresh and was still warm when it arrived. Service friendly & attentive. Price was okay too. Can only recommend.

Sempre que venho aqui como sempre muito bem, É tudo maravilhoso, desde os pratos de frango aos pratos de gambas, e sendo eu um grande fã de Naan e por já ter comido este pão indiano em tantos sítios, posso dizer seguramente que o melhor Naan que comi foi aqui!

J'ai beaucoup aimé ce restaurant indien située au début de la rue touristique principale de Lagos où se sont concentrés l'ensemble des restaurants.
Les végétariens vont particulièrement apprécier diverses entrées chaudes et plats, comme les lentilles, les galettes de légumes ou le riz byriani aux légumes, excellentissime et très copieux.
L'accueil est très sympathique également et les prix sont raisonnables.
Cerise sur le gâteau est la terrasse ombragée.
Mérite vraiment le détour !

Tout était très bon. Service sympathique! En plus ils avaient une chaise pour enfant!

Serveur sympa, les locaux s'y arrêtent c'est souvent bon signe. Nourriture très correct, bien présenté, épicé à la demande. Frites un peu mac cain mais ça depayse et change totalement des autres restaurants de la rue

Good food. Customer service should be better. Ordered 2 meals for take out that should be eaten with rice, but none was included. If they would have told me this I would have gladly paid for it. However, eating a curry with no rice is half a meal. I also ordered naan, again not fearing price, but only got one. When you go there be aware that you get exactly what you pay for even if makes the meal incomplete.

Great Indian food. Take a break from local cuisine. Service, food quality and flavors all excellent. Open in off season.
