We went in at kind of a weird time in between lunch and dinner so we were the only ones there. We actually interrupted the staff eating some food but they were so cool. We ordered a few different tapas such as bread, olives, the cheese board, and the bean stew. It was all good but the stew was the best. We ordered a glass of house red and green wines and the pours were verrrry generous. Our server was very friendly and helpful. This place is great and I would recommend.

Klasse Tapas und leckerer Wein, super nette Bedienung und angemessene Preise. Dazu gute Musik, nicht zu laut. Ein echter Tipp für Faro!!

The food is good, the drinks are good and the staff is the best! We had a wide selection of tapas and pretty much cleaned our plates. We had planned on going for dinner some where else and stopped for a drink and ended up eating there! We sat outside for some time and enjoyed ourselves immensely.

Great place to chill out before or after a tour of the old town. Very friendly and professional staff. Very good selection of wines and tapas (aperitif ). I had AR red wine,cheese board, and octopus salad. I high recommend it. Reasonable prices too.

Great and friendly staff that seemed to really enjoy their work. The cheese, meat and wines were delicious. So was the dessert. Definitely go here!

Amazing service, amazing tapas! The best wines were chosen by the staff on our behalf, never tasted an average dish. Very small and cozy, cheese platter should be tried! I'll come again (and again and again).

Essen gut, Bedienung gut (ein bischen aufdringlich), Preis deutlich zu hoch für ein normales Lokal (wenn auch schön eingerichtet). 1/8 Wein 3€, Brot separat zu den Tapas zu bezahlen usw. Qualität gut, aber es geht auch anders (besser) in Faro.

Locale discreto piccolo, cameriere gentilissimo, cibo solo freddo, come dice il nome alla spagnola, comunque non economico (vino al calice 3€, 2 bruschette al tonno 6€...). Inattesa scelta e qualità di vini.

Great little tapas place slightly off the main road. Food and wine were good, but the service really was the standout aspect - helpful and very accommodating! Definitely try the different bruschetta on the regular menu and check the chalkboard menu for seafood specials!

Włóczyliśmy sie po Faro wieczorową porą. Byliśmy po kolacji ale mieliśmy ochotę na wino. Wszędzie tylko restauracje z jedzeniem. Zdecydowaliśmy sie na 8 tapas i bylo to super wybór. Energetyczny wlasciciel, spory wybór tapas i bardzo dobre wino. Dla klimatu tapas serwowane w puszkach. Wszystko w portugalskiej atmosferze. Ceny 2'90 za bardzo dużą lampkę wina. Córce pozwolono przynieść loda z pobliskiej lodziarni. Fajne miejsce. :)

The atmosphere at 8 Tapas is perfect for a nice evening with friends, and they have a good wine selection. There is also a big wine store 10 feet away.

We were looking for a warm dinner and chose this place. Unfortunately all the warm dishes were not tasty. They only have a small kitchen and we observed that everything was just reheated in the microwave so maybe that explains why it didn’t taste good.
I especially cannot recommend the mushroom lasagne (tasted like frozen lasagne) and the grilled vegetables (soggy and not tasty at all).
The waitress noticed that we barely touched our food and we explained why and what we didn’t like. They still charged the full price and didn’t care about our feedback.
I cannot comment on the cold-cuts, as they don’t have to be cooked, they might be good.
Would not come back again.

Les serveurs sont agréables mais les tapas sont une déception surtout lorsque j’ai découvert que le jambon ibérique vendu plus cher n’est autre que du jambon de parme classique sans goût. Et je m’y connais assez pour reconnaître. Le fromage n’a également pas de goût. Si vous recherchez l’authenticité de bonnes tapas passez votre chemin (avis de français)...

The food was absolutely amazing....so tasty. Very good wine per glass and for only 3€ per glass. The most pleasant surprise ever. The chef's dessert of the day was also very good and very balanced. In my opinion a must visit. And oh the staff very friendly and pleasant.

Atenderam outras pessoas que chegaram depois, quando confrontados com a situação não fizeram pedido de desculpa. O serviço é mau, esqueceram-se de alguns dos pratos pedidos ao que responderam "é preciso saber esperar". Enfim...garantidamente não é para voltar.

Donde nunca volvería. Servicio pesipé, comida de calidad ajustada a precio altísimo. Al ir al servicio descubrí que tenían bandejas de tapas precocinadas. Para mí una tomadura de pelo.

Me parece un robo el precio, las tapas son minúsculas y valen de 7 euros para arriba. La relación cantidad precio es llamativa ya que no son tapas muy elaboradas. Para terminar mejor no hablar de la organización ni de la lentitud al servir.

Comida “bien” (no espectacular).
Servicio “regular” (hemos estado en 3 mesas diferentes) el camarero genial, muy simpatico, la camarera... no tanto.
No es para nada cómodo, calle adoquinada sentados en taburetes

Friendly staff. Can get a bit cozy when its busy, you could also sit on the terrace.
