This is a very nice restaurant, located in an old mannor overlooking the Douro River and the sea. Incredible views, incredible food. The staff was super nice and catered to our every need with a smile.
The food, again, is great. We had the tasting menu and didn't regret it at all. We didn't go with the wine pairing, not for the price but mostly because it's too much wine for us.
It was well worth the visit. I recommend this experience for anyone who wants to try a modern twist on the Portuguese traditional food, but still with all the flavour that makes us love it.

Without a doubt, the best restaurant I’ve ever been to, anywhere in the world. Fantastic. 3 chef courses before the regular courses, then a pre-desert, desert, and post dessert! Amazing! Fantastic service, presentation, setting, and food! Expensive, but A+. We loved it!

Tl,Dr: Top, top, Michelin starred experience. One of my favourite meals in my life, and I've been to a number of starred restaurants in France itself.
We went there on a lovely sunny afternoon for the lunch menu, which I think, at €45, is excellently priced. It's technically a three-course meal, but that's a big fat lie. The good kind of lie, though.
Before our starter came we were presented with three amuse-bouche dishes that would have made it to the main menu at many other restaurants I've visited. We were also treated to a lovely box of chocolates and sweets when the meal was over - taking the total number of dishes up to 7. A full tasting menu for €45/pp - boom. Sold.
This was the food we ate:
Smoked salmon with lemon cream and beetroot foam
Portuguese cheese with pork fat and onion jam - one of the stars of the show.
Parfait of foie gras, smoked eel and grated lime in top. To die for. Probably the best treatment of foie gras I have ever experienced.
Starter: Portuguese sausage, Chestnut and egg yolk with an onion broth poured on top. The sausage was soft enough to be cut by a spoon, and came coated in a charred breadcrumb coating that had been dipped in squid ink.
My main was a lovely black pork loin that came with truffle and sweet potato.
Basil macaroon, salted caramel chocolate, coconut ball, nougat, champagne and white chocolate ball, orange jelly.
There are no words to describe the quality of this meal. Well, maybe there are, but I can't find them.
Overall the food was excellent throughout, the service was spectacular and the location was right out of a movie.
I loved Porto as a city, and I mean no disrespect, but this restaurant (together with one other, which I will review too), makes it an absolute certainty that I will return. The city should be indebted to it.

Quite a disappointment. The restaurant was literally empty (just our table). This fact usually tells you something. Hefty price tag with nothing really special. The food was ok, with the dish "Conservas" being the highlight of the menu, but I expected something special for the price tag. You can have a better culinary experience for less than half the price in a lot of restaurants in the city. Really poor value.

The food was amazing, although that is to be expected from a Michelin restaurant. Service was slow but as an experience, this restaurant is worth the money and the time spent. I highly recommend 'Falling Leaves'

Lunch was wonderful and a truly special experience. We had a relaxing time and did not feel rushed. At times we wished the service was a little faster since our drinks needed replenishing, but not a problem. The main entrees were spectacular! Lychee mango funky smile dessert looks better than it tastes.

Que pena que o atendimento tenha sido tão mau.
O chefe de sala passou-nos um atestado de burrice ao dizer que (dado que não tínhamos reserva) a sala estava completamente cheia de Reservas...
Havia dezenas de mesas na sala ! Dezenas...
Note -se que eram 14:00 horas e que a cozinha fecha supostamente as 15:00.
Alguém não queria trabalhar...

We tried to have a drink on the terrasse and eat when the restaurant opens.
Impossible to be served even after waiting for 35 minutes. Table was dirty. Menu was taped.
People who arrived after us were served before us.
This is supposed to be a 1-star Michelin restaurant. What a joke!
Amazing view at the restaurant that you could appreciate juste being next to it laying on the grass in the park.

Great flavour fancy food & attentive service. We had a welcome drink over looking river with spectacular sunset views of river/bridge - very romantic. The food itself is excellent but the service level is not so Michelin starred level.
1) Just remember that there's a time limit on the tasting menu. But it was quite embarrassing situation because the staff just said NO when I tried to order the tasting menu. At least they should have informed the customer while making reservation, because most of visitors in Michelin restaurant expect the tasting menu to be ordered. I was really disappointed that I couldn't have a chance to taste it.
2) And like the comment mentioned before, I asked the restaurant to let me have the terrace view seat, but that did not happen. Most of the restaurant explain the situation if the seat is full that the customer let change the time or date.
But still, the food was impeccable. Just double check your extra requests while making the reservation.

Great service, as expected from Michelin star restaurant. We came with high expectations to eat exceptional food with wonderful views of the city and river. Well, the food is mostly good but not exceptional and you cannot really see the river unless you sit in the terrace (which is closed at dinner time). For the price we paid, we hoped for a better experience.

Amazing service. Felt so so welcomed. It was my first "one star restaurant" so it was pretty much a discovery experience. The food was definitely good but it's true that for this price we can expect something a bit more interesting. I recommend you to go to Antiqvvm for the perfect service and the very well treated dishes. But you might not be full. (Also we are "menu a la carte" and not the full menus)..

Это была еда, настолько хорошая, что она неоднократно восхищала меня смехом (курс Клауса Порто был фаворитом). Чтобы насладиться дегустационным меню, нужно время, чтобы по-настоящему насладиться и насладиться, так что не ждите быстрой еды. Ваше время будет довольно хорошо проведено. Я использовал парные вина, которые позволили мне познакомиться с обширной винной культурой Португалии во время еды. Спаривания, как и еда, гармонично дополняли весь опыт. Отличная еда в Порту! Я не могу говорить с винными парами, потому что я не пью, но еда была превосходной. У меня было Меню Дегустации Сущности, которое было 8 курсами плюс 3 забавных буша. Я любил каждый кусочек, и все это казалось мне легким и воздушным, я был совершенно сыт по окончании трапезы, но не с этим ужасным «слишком полным» чувством. Служба была хорошо организована, и Egna, мой сервер, был очень мил и объяснил мне каждое блюдо. Если бы мне нужно было выбрать 3 моих любимых укуса, они были бы: лосось и буш (я вообще не люблю лосося), который был похож на укус облака. Второй - тунец, который идеально обжарили и подали с майонезом. Я мог бы съесть это навсегда и, наконец, десерт с лимонным пирогом, который был почти слишком красив, чтобы его можно было есть (но, конечно, я сделал!). Пирог и легкий и просто идеальное количество сладости. Иди сюда и наслаждайся особенной едой!

포르투에 5일이나 머물렀기 때문에 미슐랭가이드에 소개된 곳을 찾아봤습니다. 동루이스 다리에서는 도보로 30분정도. 강을 따라 여유 만끽하면서 걸어가기 좋았고. 고즈넉한 곳에 위치하고 있어요.
날이 좋을 때는 바깥에 앉아서 먹어도 좋겠더라구요.. 런치에 찾았고 와인 제외 인당 13만원 정도 나온 것 같습니다. 역시 관자랑 대구요리는 말할 것도 없이 맛났고. 고기는 양 괜찮았어요:)
스낵도 다섯가지 모두 입과 눈이 행복.
손님이 많은 편은 아니었으나 미리 예약하고 가시는 걸 추천합니다
저는 가기 2주전쯤 예약했어요.
직원들 친절하고 전체적으로 너무 좋았던 곳이네요

Estive 3×15m à espera de mesa, após ter escolhido a refeição!!!. Depois dessa longa espera disseram me que se tinham equivocado e afinal não tinham hipótese alguma de me atenderem. Já assisti ou tive de conviver com alguma falta de respeito e profissionalismo por parte de profissionais da restauração. Este exemplo foi o maior. Cheguei a pensar que era uma brincadeira. Inqualificável.
2. A vossa resposta parece ignorar dois factos. Não fiz reserva, fui atendido no local. Não fiz pedido, escolhi a refeição por sugestão do funcionário, através do cardápio fornecido no lobby. A situação descrita não é recente.

Came for a drink, was seated outside by ourselves. Took 20mins for the guy to come and give us the drinks menu, waited another 20-30mins and still no one to take our order. We left! What a shame given the beautiful outdoor area. Would never recommend this place.

Do walk there or take an extensive walk through the nearby area after. The park around the restaurant and the little paths further afield are lovely. The food is good with flourishes and touches of brilliance especially in the cod and pigeon. Desert was a bunch of disparate ideas looking for cohesion. The box of chocolates was a nice touch.

Desilusão. Serviço esforçado mas impreparado. Os pratos não foram explicados, mesmo pedindo. A climatização da sala não é a melhor. Vista subaproveitada. Carta de vinhos desatualizada, com os anos a não corresponderem aos disponíveis (não percebo o motivo de cobrar o dobro do PVP em todos os vinhos... Vender a harmonização?). Ninguém prova o vinho antes de o servir ao cliente e foram várias as vezes que estive de copo vazio à espera. A comida no geral é agradável, ingredientes frescos, sem técnicas de confecção demasiado elaboradas (gelatinas e espumas nem sempre bem conseguidas), empratamento bonito mas que já se faz em qualquer restaurante de gama média da cidade do Porto. Num estrela Michelin e nesta gama de preços num país em que se come tão bem, o antiqvvm desilude.

Experiencia mejorable, con fallos imperdonables en un restaurante de este tipo que incluso luce una estrella Michelín. El entorno muy bonito, tiene una terraza con vistas al Duero, un salón con cristalera a la terraza y un salón interior, que fue en el que nos colocaron a pesar de haber reservado con varias semanas de antelación. El servicio fue correcto pero con fallos, aunque tienen guardarropa, no nos ofrecieron guardar nuestras chaquetas, por lo que tuvimos que dejarlas en una silla que quedaba libre, había otros comensales que no tuvieron tanta suerte y las tenían que colgar de sus propias sillas y se les cayeron varias veces al suelo. Pedimos el menú degustación "esencia" y el maitre debería de habernos advertido que era mucha comida para una cena, no pudimos disfrutar de la última parte del menú porque, literalmente, no nos entraba, habría sido mucho mejor cenar, a la carta, un par de platos. Probablemente también influyera el excesivo tiempo de espera entre plato y plato. Lo mejor la comida, original y de calidad. En resumen, la relación calidad/servicio/precio no es adecuada, una pena porque fuimos con unas referencias muy buenas y terminamos un poco desilusionados.

Espectacular. Llamando por la mañana del mismo día (un viernes), el restaurante estaba completo pero paseando por la zona, nos acercamos durante la tarde y tuvimos la suerte de que se había liberado una mesa para la misma noche. La decoración es estupenda y el servicio sin ningún fallo. Nos atendieron con gran profesionalismo (y en castellano ). Cada plato es una sorpresa y la combinación de sabores un acierto total. El Antiqvvm está sin lugar a dudas de camino a su segunda estrella.

Localização soberba, com uma vista lindíssima para a foz do Rio Douro. Decoração sóbria. Ambiente agradável, atendimento rápido e profissional. Fusão entre cozinha mediterrânea com cozinha portuguesa contemporânea. Preço elevado mas condizente com a qualidade.

Pricy, does not take advantage of the views (can't eat in the terrace) service could be much better. Has a Michelin star I don't understand how.

Disfruta del arte del chef Vitor Matos. Además cuenta con un menú ejecutivo por 25€. Excelente opción para conocer su cocina si no quieres gastar entorno a los 60€ que puede costar si lo haces a la carta.

5 estrelas em todos os aspectos mas...
...mas vá de galochas. A entrada, do parque até à porta é dramática.
