Magnifique week-end dans ce lieu absolument magique, l’accueil est d’une gentillesse exemplaire, tout comme le service à tous les niveaux: réception, bar, hôtel, restaurant... Piscine extraordinaire, immense, vitrée, face au spectacle dépaysant des cigognes qui planent au dessus des rizières ! Chambre, literie, sanitaires sont impeccables et pleins de charme. Le restaurant dans une salle spectaculaire et chaleureuse offre une cuisine raffinée et un service la encore d’une gentillesse et d’un professionnalisme parfaits. La plage à deux pas .. tout est parfait merci à toute l’équipe de la Quinta de Comporta ! Nous reviendrons !!

This place is over priced, unprofessional and they lie.Save your money and your points because you will loose both at this place- they will charge you on your credit card for the full stay and charge you points for your stary, over 60,000 points - so you will pay twice which will come to close to $600 a night! My husband is a Doctor and I am an Architect-we are professionals and seasoned travelers.I have traveled the world paying for nights stays and also using points and had actually used our points for 2 other nights stays at other Hyatt affiliated properties in Portugal during our 12 day trip- with not one issue. My husband and I have traveled the world staying at less expensive places than this that made you feel more comfortable and more special.I had found Quinta da Comporta on our Hyatt membership site and decide to go all out and use 60,000 points for the last two nights of our trip to Portugal(which is astronomical in the Hyatt point world and also Hyatt pays them for our stay.).The check in to Quinta da Comporta was the same as other locations where we used points and we verified at checked in that our stay was confirmed using our point-even had the email confirmation to prove it. This resort is in the middle of dessert and is very isolated, actually in the middle of rice fields.When you check in they make park your car in an underground garage which is about 1/2 of mile away from your actual room and then take you by golf cart to your room.There is only a beach like sand walkway and rolling hills from your room to the reservation building - it is not an easy walk and defiantly not handicap accessible. It was interesting at check in but we were game for a resort that would have cost us almost $300 a night if we had not used our points, I would have never stayed here otherwise. Since you are isolated you have no choice but to eat every meal in their one restaurant.Staff and food at the restaurant were very nice (overpriced for what you get but nice) However check out was another story. We were not presented a bill prior to check out. The day before we were to leave, we ask the front reservation for assistance with our luggage because we were catching our flight home in the morning and they said they would be at our room with the golf cart by 7am to help us with our luggage. Again because there are no concrete walkways only deep sand that luggage sinks into. However 7am came and 7:15, we even called the front reservation but no answer, so we decided we had to drag our luggage 1/2 mile to the reservation building so that we would not miss our international flight home. It took us about 25 min to drag our heavy suitcases through the sand (my new suitcase wheels are ruined) almost 1/2 mile to the front reservation building, there were two very young people running reservations when we came in sweating. And they never even said sorry about forgetting to come get you and your luggage! Understand no one staying at this place is close to the reservation building so how did they think we got there?? The guy asked my husband if he need help putting the luggage in our rental car and he said yes- and the guy rolled our luggage 5 feet and left my husband to roll it the rest of the way and lift them into our car. They said they would have breakfast for us to take with us and we were handed two brown bags each with one orange and one orange juice in them-not even a napkin.They promised the additional $600 we were wrongly charged would be refunded to our cc but this has not happened and they are not responding to any of the many emails we have sent.This is the first hotel with Hyatt that I have ever felt like I was seriously ripped off-a bait and switch! I found and booked Quinta da Comporta on the Hyatt site and in the end they said we don't accept Hyatt points-which according to Hyatt, they do! We were so excited to be staying here the end of this amazing trip and honestly our entire trip was amazing EXCEPT for our stay here!

We have stayed here on 2 previous occasions and liked it however this time it didn’t feel the same.
After we checked in my wife fancied a coffee and I felt like a nice cup of tea in our room. Plenty of coffee capsules but no tea bags, when I asked reception they sent 2 Tea bags around within 10 mins but with a charge of €3:50, this is the very first time I have had to pay for tea in my room in all the hotels I have ever stayed at.
The hotel was very quite so at breakfast I totally understand that the menu is limited, in this case very limited....eggs! Poached or sunny side up with either crispy bacon OR mushrooms, I asked for 2 eggs sunny side up with crispy bacon and was told they had no bacon. How can you have no bacon at 09:00?
The internet speed is good now at 50MBS but in future we will go back to Sublime Hotel.

Lieu splendide, belles chambres et décoration magnifique.
Le restaurant est bien sauf que le serveur s’étant trompé de plat lors de la commande, on aurait apprécié un geste commercial mais non même pas le café offert.
Décevant également que certains membres du staff ne parlent pas le portugais et uniquement anglais.

I have just spent one week at Quinta da Comporta in the frame of a yoga retreat with Jessica Janusz. My stay was simply amazing. First of all, the place is magnificent; stunning new hotel lost in nature, surrounded by rice fields. The decoration is amazing, and I could certainly disconnect and enjoy nature while being there. But most of all, I have never meet such nice and professional staff. Everyone was so caring; thank you so much for that!

Beautiful place. Amazing surrounding and peaceful environment. The warm infinity and spa pool make it a fun place to be in even in the October chill evening weather. The rooms are great and clean, the breakfast is rich and the team is nice and welcoming.
To improve : Need more guidance about what to do in the area (expiriences) and would love to see more sustainable thinking such as no use of plastic for the bathroom toiletries (shampoo bottles, etc).

Séjour de 7nuits avec ma femme. Tres bel hôtel. Superbe piscine, super spa. En pleine ouverture, donc prendre du recul sur au staff qui n’est pas encore bien en place et beaucoup de patience. Avantage et inconvénient pas de MOUSTIQUES (a côté d’une rizière), l’hôtel traité avec un spray type INSECTICIDE pour éloigner ces derniers, ma femme étant enceinte, après coup, je ne suis pas fan du tout. si vous allez au sublima comporta, vous aurez des moustiques mais pas d’insecticide.

L’ endroit est dingue, avec cette sublime piscine et cette vue sur les rizières. La déco de l’hôtel est superbe, les chambres sont magnifiques, et le petit déjeuner est copieux et délicieux. Tout y est !! Un petit bémol des enfants en bas âges bruyants aussi bien à la piscine qu’au restaurant. A découvrir absolument .!!

Decepcionante. Un hotel pretendidamente de 5 estrellas con un servicio pésimo. En el restaurante tardan horas en traer la comida, mediocre, por otra parte. El desyuno es exactamente igual todos los días y tienes que perseguir a los camareros para que te triagan un café. Las habitaciones hubo días que ni nos la hicieron. En la piscina es absolutamente imposible lograr que te traigan una bebida. La mayoría del personal no está cualificado para atender un hotel que pretende ser de lujo. La piscina infinita, preciosa, es territorio de los niños, que juegan a sus anchas con pistolas de agua y pelotas como en un resort familiar. El concepto wellness creo que no se ajusta al de hotel familiar. Si buscas tranquilidad, lujo y trato exquisito, NO vengas a este hotel.
Cuando pusimos una queja formal después de varios días de un servicio exasperante, nos hicieron un descuento. Pero hubiérmaos preferido que el hotel nos diera lo que prometía: un servicio de 5 estrellas.

It’s a gorgeous property, beautifully designed. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful, but for a place as expensive as it is, the service lacks attentiveness- we had to ask for too many things to be done. It shouldn’t take 20 minutes for a waiter to bring a glass of wine. Also, for a hotel pretty much in the middle of nowhere they don’t offer very much to do besides spa treatments and the swimming pool which closes at 7:30 PM

Beautiful place but unfortunate they don’t have good service. We were a group of 8 people in 5 rooms, 2 of them never got a cleaning service in 2 days, towels were not changed.
Breakfast time is chaotic I waited 45 min for a juice, and I had to ask 4 times.
Room service never came for just a glass of milk and it was raining and no umbrellas around. They need more staff ASAP!

The hotel is nice and I'm sure in the future it will get better but for now it has a lot of minuses. The conditioner in the room works from time to time, there are holes in the wall and you cannot hang a robe in the bathroom. The phone in the room doesn't work. But even that's not the biggest minust. The staff is mostly very nice, but some of them look like it's their first day of work and they have zero experience. For example it took 40 minutes to let us know they have no aperol for aperol spritz and no syrup for another cocktail. Also, when the bartender was asked if he could suggest another cocktail he knew nothing about the bar card and had no idea tequila sunrise is not a brand of a tequila but a cocktail. And if you come 20 minutes before the end of breakfast it's a disaster. We had to wait 40 minutes for the cappuccino and an hour for the waffles. But overall the atmosphere is good, the menu for the dinner is small but rather tasty.

I'll start this review of with all the good things and then progress to the rather disappointing and negative things : The infinity Pool and the view is amazing, so is the wide open spaces in the center of the hotel. The rooms are big and roomy whilst staying very homey. The beds are enormous and comfortable compared to the dozens of beds I have stayed in that leave you with neck pain. I like that they have put sand literally everywhere on the floor through the resort, it gives off some nice beach vibes, even though it's not at the beach. There is some more things to mention but these are just expected from such a hotel. The personal is very kind and trying its best to grant your wishes. It's kind friendly for sure and also accessible for disabled people. The spa is also very nice, the gym is rather small but compact.
Now to the not so great things : We had to wait until 16.30 for our room to be ready. The room was completely incomplete and missing the whole kitchen equipment. Some of the structures in the hotel are yet to be finished, thus giving off a rather cheap vibe. There is a lot of personal but yet everything takes quite long and the communication seems to be rather bad in between the workers since it took them an eternity to get the promised equipment to our house which left me furious since this states to be a 6 star hotel. The whole experience wasn't necessarily bad but it's just not good for this amount of money, I have been in quite a few luxury boutique hotels and this one is lacking a lot of everything. It has simply been opened to early. If the price would be half of what it is I wouldn't be disappointed but I expected more to be honest.
I'll leave this off with a good comment, the manager decided to talk to us and asked for feedback which does show that some change wants to be done but it's not really working out for them.

A dream. The room was stunning, with delightful details like a vintage phone, comfy robes, and big bath. The bed was enormous and perfectly enveloping. My room over looked rice patties kissed by the sunset which you could also enjoy from inside their infinity pool, or restaurant. Lovely stay. I also had the opportunity to get a massage and loved the no stress nature of the spa as well. All in the details and service.

Amazing place to stay in Comporta. Stunning location, gorgeous architecture very eco-friendly concept with a gorgeous spa & 2 insta-dream swimming pools. Staff was very friendly and gave us a superb room with very high ceiling and wood beams - stunning. Food was delicious, they had amazing local breads and the chef used mostly local produce. Very romantic place to stay close to the beaches. Will be back again soon.
