More than happy to leave a review about these guys and you should know about them - every element of the day was done to perfection, with a smile and welcoming feeling from the Greenway Tours team. Being regular climbers at home we booked the guided climb day. We were collected from our hotel by Eduardo, George and Miguel in a 4x4 and taken to the mountains about an hour away. During the drive to the national park we could already see that the day was going to be full of laughs and enjoyment as we got to know the team. On the drive out they gave us their local knowledge of the area and made recommendations for the remainder of our time in Porto. All the gear was included apart from shoes which cost a little extra to hire but again being climbers we preferred to bring own. At the first crag we enjoyed a couple of hours climbing some challenging climbs in the sun and the team were all very encouraging and happy to set up top ropes for the various routes we wanted to try. For lunch we were taken to a local tavern and you could see Eduardo and his team had built a strong relationship with the owner. The food was traditional instead of touristy, including sausages, pork, potato chips, salad and rice. We were also treated to a watering can, full of the ‘recipe!’ (beer, white wine and sugar) which I loved way too much! After lunch we were taken to a view point of Porto which was spectacular! We were shown from here where our climbs for the afternoon would be and once driven there enjoyed climbing in the shade for the rest of the afternoon. Another great takeaway from our adventure was the fantastic photos which were taken throughout the day. These guys really are passionate about what they do and its clear they really listen to their clients: I wouldn't hesitate to book another outdoor adventure with these guys if I was to return to Porto, and would recommend as a first choice to anyone visiting. Me and my other half now have some friends in Portugal who we will hopefully see again one day!

A large group of us booked a Gerês Tour while we were staying in Porto and had an amazing time. Communication while we were booking was great and Eduardo was very responsive giving us all the information we needed and customised the day appropriately. Eduardo and Nádia picked us up from our apartments first thing in the morning in their Land Rovers and we were well looked after well into the evening. The day was filled with amazing scenery, great activities and the tastiest food and wine we had all holiday. The pace was just right, we never felt rushed and it felt like we had a unique experience away from the main tourist trails (including places only a 4x4 could get to). Activities including hiking, kayaking, swimming and diving, all of which were well organised and felt safe. Eduardo had thought of everything, from making sure he had plenty of water for us (including refills at a natural spring!), bringing along water proof cameras to capture all the fun (supplying us all the photos after at no charge) as well as USB chargers and Wifi in the cars. At lunch we were well fed at a local restaurant, a very filling full spread of four courses of local specialities, many prepared right in front of us along with plenty of amazing green wine and some surprisingly strong fire water! Aside from the great atmosphere, highlights were definitely the secluded natural plunge pool/waterfalls and the lunch.
