Lovely place a bit tucked away from the touristy madness. We had some lovely vino verde and cheese and of course some delicious port (was boded up buying a bottle too). The owner is great and gave us lots of tips on what to see in and around Porto. Highly recommend!

Muito bom atendimento, gostei especialmente do vinho do Porto e dos variados tipos de queijo quer de cabra, quer de ovelha.

Propriétaire sympathique, mais les porto ne valent pas du tout le prix payé (24 euros pour 4 petits verres)

Awesome little hidden gem. Friendly, knowledgeable, patient owner. Highly recommend for small groups of 2-4.

I give only one star out of five because we paid much more than the mentioned price on the menu for some pieces of cheese ! Additionally, it was supposed to be served with something else like honey, ham... But actually there was nothing else served with.. I felt like I was trapped.

TOURIST TRAP !! Pass your Way!!! The owner of the place proposes to taste some wines but then he counts very expensive prices for each glass. We paid 25 euros for one glass of red Wine and some goat cheese :/ i'm very disappointed ! Even the goat cheese is a not so good quality cheese! At the end we paid 15 euros for some cheese that was not event mentioned on the card ... The Wine was not tasty neither...

We found this place by chance and it was a great experience. The owner was friendly and very detailed in everything he explained. Probably you'll pay a bit more than in a wine cellar but you'll get a very personalised tasting and you can take as much time as you need. We stayed quite long, tasted 5 different wines, cheese as a snack and paid 20 euros. 100% recommended.

The owner provided a detailed explanation of each of the wines -- all of which were good. Located in a cozy space in a small alley, the wine bar was a great place to chat with friends and those around you. One of the highlights during my trip in Porto!

Morro d'amores was recommended by a friend of ours who was recently in Porto. I highly recommend that anyone visiting the city goes to this wonderful wine bar! We spent an entire afternoon trying amazing wines, cheese and olive oil and basking in the sunshine. João Paulo was an amazing, knowledgeable and entertaining host and we learned all about wine and port! This is a must for your visit, and I suggest a full tasting to get the whole experience!

I’m very dissapointed in this place. Its look cosy and personal but was overpriced and felt like a tourist trap. This was the only place in Portugal were we tasted bad wine (3 out of 4 wines were already open for how long? and not tasty). Only the Vinho Verde was nice.

Very nice experince. This guy know his stuff, not only about his own family wines but also about wine from the region in general. And the wine was exquisite by the way.
