Ci siamo fermate dopo una lunga ricerca (la domenica in Portogallo i ristoranti sono quasi tutti chiusi o affollati). Posto senza infamia senza lode, ma proprietario molto simpatico che conosce molto bene l’italiano. Ottimo baccalà (specialità portoghese)

We were told that this place offers fast food but we realised that it was absolutely not the case ! The food was delicious and the meat was high quality. All of this for a small price ! The staff was so kind including the boss :) PS if you are coeliac you can bring your gluten free bread and they will make your meal with it!!!

Incredibly friendly staff, and wonderful food! The steak sandwiches were incredible and fairly priced. High quality ingredients, and service. They even opened the place after closing to hand me a bag I had left behind. Wonderful people making great food!

Es un lugar acogedor, un local pequeño atendido por profesionales excelentes a pesar de su juventud (o, a lo mejor, precisamente por eso). Probamos el tataki de atún, las hamburguesas, el carpaccio de bacalao y la ensalada de mozzarella. Todo muy rico. Y servido por un personal amable y eficiente.

Un restaurant incroyable qui a dépassé mes attentes (Et je suis difficile). Tout est vraiment parfait. Le service par le jeune patron vraiment agréable, la qualité, la présentation et le gout de chaque petit plat. Les sandwichs de viande sont petits mais la viande est la meilleure que j'ai jamais mangé. Les desserts sont à tomber surtout la tarte citron. Nous y sommes allés pour le déjeuner et le diner tant nous avons aimés. Tout est fin et délicieux. Je recommande spécialement le codfish, le tataki de thon, le sandwich Serra et la soupe. Mais tout est à essayer! Même le vin est délicieux. Merci encore pour cet endroit fabuleux. Nous reviendrons!

Y, como su fachada es escasa, la terraza lo compensa y el ambiente rara vez se satura (no como en los restaurantes de su alrededor, por cierto). Lugar muito bom. Atendimento dos funcionários impecável. Sanduíches muito bem feitos e deliciosos. Acredito que tenha sido o dono do restaurante que estava a auxiliar o atendimento, deixando o serviço ainda melhor. Recomendo totalmente o bar. Impossível não voltar novamente.

Me encanta este restaurante (pequeño pero acogedor) en el centro de Porto. La primera vez que visité la ciudad fue una elección de última hora pero muy acertada. No he dudado en volver siempre que he vuelto a esta encantadora ciudad. La comida está muy buena y el servicio es excelente.

Our third day in Portugal and we happened upon Pregar. My strawberry mojito was fresh and delicious. Hubby had the steak sandwich with soft cheese, while I had the vegetarian sandwich and both were incredible!
We had the key lime pie and creme brulee for dessert. Both are made in house and they were fantastic! Our server, Ze, was phenomenal as was his co-worker (we didn't get his name) the service was fast, and friendly without being overbearing. Ze made suggestions and everything was on point!

Bom espaço , bom tataki de atum , bom bife de atum assim como o bife do lombo com queijo que estava com a carne no ponto (para mim o queijo podia ser melhor , serra puro) e também o bife de picanha estava muito bom , a tarte de lima foi um bom final de refeição.A repetir.

Tout m'a plu de l'entrée au dessert. Le service est également de qualité. Je recommande les roulés de courgettes au saumon et les sandwichs au veau. En dessert, j'ai testé la mousse au chocolat maison et la tarte citron. J'ai adoré!

Great bread, amazingly cooked and seasoned bread. What else for a good sandwich ? We also tried the tuna steak sandwich and it was perfect as well. The lemon "mayonnaise" is a killer and the tuna was only seared on each side, which was the right way to cook it. The waitress was also very friendly and the prices reasonable as often in Porto. Would recommend !

Top top top ! Super service et super carte. Ils font des "hamburgers" version portugaises (même végétarien !) avec des morceaux de steak rosés qui fondent en bouche, sans parler de leurs délicieuses frites et des Sauces maison au choix dont une excellente "sweet chilli". Clairement à recommander ! Et en plus... Ce n'est pas cher !!! 50 euros à 4 avec jarre de sangria,....

Einfach super! Das Essen war köstlich und der Laden ist zwar klein aber super schön dekoriert und sehr modern eingerichtet. Die Stühle und Tische sind mit Leder überzogen und dadurch sehr bequem. Man kann auch draußen sitzen. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend und auf der Speisekarte waren die Gerichte, die für Schwangere geeignet sind extra markiert. Eine Kleinigkeit, die es besonders macht. Auch vom Kellner wurden auf Anfrage die passenden Getränke empfohlen, was sich als gute Wahl herausstellte. Die Burger hatten eine normale gute Größe, waren sehr saftig, das Fleisch war perfekt und auf Anfrage auch gut durchgebraten, die Soße war ausreichend vorhanden und trotzdem hat sie dem Fleisch nicht den Geschmack gestohlen. Die Pommes waren selbstgemacht und ebenfalls sehr lecker, ein bisschen wenig Salz aber Geschmack ja auch von Person zu Person unterschiedlich. Die Dips für die Pommes schienen tatsächlich - wie bereits in anderen Kommentaren erwähnt - etwas wenig zu sein, da sie abrr selbst gemacht und aus einer eher flüssigen Substanz bestand, blieb bei uns sogar noch etwas übrig. Rundum ein super Essen. Wir empfehlen dieses Restaurant auf jeden Fall weiter.

Al menos llevaba patatas fritas pero nos las dieron con un cuenco de salsa tan pequeño que solo se podía mojar 3 patatas y se acababa. La carne encima cruda. Péssimo atendimento.
Garçom foi rude e xenofóbico com brasileiros, nos tratou mal porque não sabíamos como era o prato e ele não explicou bem. Depois de falar que achava que o prato não era o que pensava, ele nos tratou com deboche e foi a mesa apenas para falar que só passava por situações como essas com brasileiros. Horrível, desrespeitoso, péssimo.

I wish I could rate this restaurant by 5 stars but unfortunately no.
The first impression was very nice. Cozy restaurant in the streets of Porto with nice waiters. Really nice welcoming and food preparation.
But food was not great. Not bad but totally not perfect 4/5. There was something missing. I really appreciate the free fresh Fries which come with burger or stake and also some salsa options. But I had ate better burger.
But what really made me upset was the approach of waiters when we were finishing but still eating the dish. The waiter just take some plates where still food. Without asking.
Then we experience too times indirect pushing out because we were blocking the next waiting customers.
I would understand that, but we were there barely 30 -45 minutes( mostly waiting for food) and still eating!
At least you can pay by card here.
I really wish they change the approach towards the clients. Would be good restaurant

We were going to this restaurant by our Uber driver recommendation. It’s small but without booking we were able to have table without waiting too much. Los camareros súper atentos y simpáticos y eso que había mucha gente! El tataki de atún y bacalao muy ricos y eso que entrabamos pensando en una hamburguesa que por cierto también comimos y estaba buenísima.. hasta las simples patatas fritas muy ricas.. no íbamos a comer postre nos aconsejaron una tartaleta de lima y fue un acierto ... relación calidad precio muy buena, esta muy bien para estar en el centro .... yo pediría hamburguesa antes que los bocadillos merece más la pena

We ordered a chicken salad (amazingly grilled chicken that kept all the flavour as it was perfectly cooked and great honey mustard dressing to match) and two tenderloin steak sandwiches. We also ordered red wine (called Douro), capirinha and a mojito.
Decently priced and lovely service. It was definitely not a tourist trap considering the area we were in as beforehand we almost ate at another place because we were able to find a seat outside but the vibe was horrible and packed and the food didn't look appealing.

Lovely place. Lovely food. Fabulous for keeping teenage kids happy as well as adults that have more discerning palates. Staff friendly but a tiny bit salesy. Vegetarian burger was amazing! Great sangria too! Upsold on Courgettes Amd salmon rolls starters but was definitely worth it!

Good service, low prices, food is good (but not outstanding) and the location is nice overlooking the street. Only sitting with the back to the downside of the street can be a little awkward as the hill is pretty steep and the chairs are not on a level platform.

Great location and the freshest buns and amazingly perfect fly cooked meats. This was our first Prego and it was delicious! Staff were friendly and attentitive. Only downside is that the outside seating is on a hill, so some people may be sitting backwards on a lean which can feel a bit weird.

Aunque los últimos comentarios en español aquí descritos no son nada acordes con la realidad, he de decir que para mi ha sido un lugar a tener en cuenta al venir a Oporto.
Atención: 10 en todo momento.
Carta: Pequeña, como debe de ser, corta y concisa. Entrantes, ensaladas, hamburguesas y bocadillos, bebidas y postres.
Precio: Razonable, correcto. Una hamburguesa con muy buen sabor y con patatas fritas caseras 7.5 Euros.
Seguro que los que critican que es caro no tienen ni idea de lo que es una hamburguesa y se creen que McDonalds es un restaurante de categoria.
¿Que Comimos?
Entrantes: Rollitos de Salmon con queso y calabacín. Muy ricos. Es un plato frio ideal para abrir boca. Y Nachos con Guacamole. Guacamole casero, bien acabado y con muy buen sabor.
Platos: Hamburguesas. Normal, Pan, carne, queso, bacon. No necesita más. Las hacen muy bien, muy ricas con la carne jugosa y una salsa que le da el toque justo para diferenciarse del resto. Patatas fritas, caseras, se nota que NO son congeladas.
Postre: Tarta de limón y tarta de Maracuya. Buen sabor los dos.
Es un sitio con pocos platos pero lo que tiene lo hace bien. Bien hecho.
Tuvimos la suerte de estar junto a la cocina. Ver cómo se trabajaba. Una cocina muy pequeña con dos personas trabajando acompasadas sin estorbarse el uno al otro. Moviendose con soltura, organizados. Los camareros, rápidos, entre cocina y servicio había coordinación.
En resumen. Si estás cansado de tanto marisco, pescado y "comida tradicional portuguesa " Este es un buen lugar para pasar a comer si vienes un fin de semana a Oporto

Nos apetecía tomar una cerveza, entramos al local, nos sentamos en una mesa. Nos preguntó un camarero que si queríamos solo tomar algo, al decirle que sí nos pidió que nos cambiáramos de mesa, lo que me parece normal, pues en muchos locales tienen una parte del bar destinada a los que solo van a tomar algo. La cuestión es que una vez nos sentamos aparece otro camarero para decirnos que si íbamos a tomarnos algo no se podía, que sólo atendían para cenas (19:30).
Entiendo que un local se reserve la normativa, cómo atender y qué servir teniendo en cuenta la hora, pero entiendo también que esto debe estar explicitado fuera y, sobre todo, que todos los camareros tengan claro qué ofrecer al cliente, pues nos sentamos en dos sitios distintos para acabar saliendo del local sin consumir nada.

Our last evening in Porto we were a bit late for dinner (22:30) - and bumped into this place. The guy serving the tables outside was extremely nice and polite, told us about the vegetarian options we could have, served us quickly and made our dinner worthwhile :)

Parece bom , espaço bonito , carta interessante , preços razoáveis ( tendo em conta a localização ) e claro a animação da área .
Mas a experiência começa e acaba aí . Talvez com falta de funcionários esperei pacientemente até que tentei por duas vezes captar a atenção dos funcionários , um deles fez de conta que não viu nada e a sua única função era ... bem não sei mesmo a função que ocupava !
Talvez uma próxima ( que não acontecerá de certeza) viva a experiência num idioma diferente... parece que resulta !
Sendo assim fui pregar para outra freguesia porque o que não falta nesta bela cidade são bons locais para se comer.

Great food and affordable prices. This is a place that I would recommend if you would like to drink something and have a nice sandwich or side to eat. Num passeio de final de tarde pelo Porto e após procurar algum local para jantar..., encontramos o Pregar. Foi uma surpresa bem agradável! Excelente ambiente, staff simpático e comida muito boa. No nosso caso jantamos um Prego da Serra e um de Picanha e estava muito bom. Em relação a valores, achamos que era um valor justo pois infelizmente notamos que há restaurantes com "preços para turistas". Aconselhamos vivamente este simpático restaurante. Iremos voltar sem duvida.

On budget we found this spot just off the tourist trap but well situated and not far from the river. The Tuna Prego was out of this world and the steak was cooked perfectly. The prices were affordable and the food delicious. Super friendly staff and very attentive! Highly recommend.

Good food and cozy atmosphere. Unfortunately we had an unpleasant situation when we were told that we cannot continue to play a board game that we were playing. Very nice restaurant, very friendly service. Good advice, nice starters and for main course nice choice of different burgers or salats, deliciously prepared (meat, fish, carpacio, etc). Very nice wine ! Will defenitely go back next time. Small nice place, seats only about 20 people , so had to try two times, as fully booked first night.

We grabbed a meal at Pregar after missing out on a walk up table at some of the other options in the area. Pregar specialises in steak sandwiches (not fair to call these burgers) with many options - chicken, fish, vegetarian. We also enjoyed a great value cheese plate and a bottle from the well priced wine list. Service was attentive and friendly.

Location- in the center of the city, in "baixa", close to aliados which is one of the best places in porto especially for dinner because after dinner you can go for a drink in some nice bar or for a dessert in santini or cremosi. It's a clear 5.
Space- nice outside space and inside it's extremely small, it has a lower floor but it's kind of claustrophobic, and it's where the storage is, so it's kind of uncomfortable because the staff is always passing by with food and dishes... it's a 4, good outside space bad indoor
Time of waiting - appetiser 8 minutes main dish 15 min. Quick service. Solid 5
Accessibility- it has a ramp so it's accessible to handicaps, however there are only stairs for the lower floor. 4
Staff affection- the staff was normal. They were kind asked if everything was nice but nothing especially good. A solid 4
Environment - the first floor was very welcoming as well as the outside space, there was music and everybody was talking and it was cheerful. However the lower floor was small and didn't have music, the environment was somehow sad and claustrophobic. It's a 4
Appetiser- we asked for nachos with guacamole, chips and "rolinhos de courgette com salmao e ricotta". The "rolinhos" which had ricotta and salmon wasn't the best, the flavour was somehow exotic but not tasty. The chips were really small but tasty, and had 4 sauces, moionese with lime, ketchup, sweet chilly and some sauce with mustard. The ketchup was normal, the mustard was terrible and the maionese normal as well. However the sweet chilly was super tasty, strange flavour but really interesting. The nachos were normal, but thumbs up for the amount of nachos served, big proportions. Overall was a 2,5, especially because the "rolinhos" were terrible.
Main dish- I ordered a burger classic. The burger was a little over cooked but it was tasty and simple, good size. It's a 4 because even though the burger was over cooked it was tasty, but didn't have something new neither creative.
Dessert- it's not a good place for dessert so we didn't ask anything
Internet- 1 it had internet but didn't worked
Bathrooms - 4
Price - 15€ each it was a fair price for the service and the food itself, a deserved 4
Average - 3,8
Summary - overall, the experience was nice. It's a good restaurant for a date or a small group because big groups must go to the lower floor which is terrible. The food is not extraordinary but it's good. The price was reasonable. Cheerful environment, excellent for tourists, because you can go for a dessert in baixa.

The food was delicious! We ate sandwiches with beef and French fries. The meat was perfectly made. For dessert, we took a chocolate mousse and we were really impressed. It's definitely worth visiting! Incredible quality for the price :)

O lugar é agradável e o hamburger estava bom. Todavia, quando fomos (eu e amigos) iniciou-se um grande discussão entre funcionários (ou gerente e funcionário?) o que não é respeitoso com os clientes.
É bom chegar a um lugar onde a atmosfera entre os funcionários também está boa.

We hit this place up for a quick lunch. I had the steak sandwich (without the bun). Well cooked and seasoned and a perfect size for lunch. The cheese platter was decent.
