Ourivesaria Eduardo Carneiro & Cª Ld.ª is a century-old goldsmith's shop (founded in 1918) that persists on the north side of Rua das Flores, once known as rua das ourivesarias (goldsmith’s street). This store is part of the Tradition Stores of the city of Porto, distinguished by the City Hall. Inserted in a building very characteristic of the beginnings of the XX century where the windows and balconies of wrought iron and of fronted lined with traditional tiles, so characteristic of the Porto culture stand out, the establishment preserved over the years its façade, ornamented with columns and capitals that give it the identity of the time of its inauguration. In its windows and showcases are exhibited traditional articles of Portuguese jewelery highlighting the numerous pieces of Portuguese filigree, handcrafted, as well as collections of traditional silver trays. In addition to these products, gold and silver articles are also representative of the excellence of the art and quality of Portuguese jewelery.

Cute little shops with lots of cute littles things waiting for you to explore. I randomly walked into this traditional little shop while I was wondering on Rua das Flores and saw these beautiful rings in the display window, they are different from the other stores in Porto and so I went in the store and there were more waiting for me! I picked this one and am very happy when I left the shop.

Caros, Apos 1 mês em Porto retornei ao meu país esta semana. Para a minha surpresa o brinco de pérolas que comprei para a minha filha com um dia de uso caiu as duas pequenas pérolas. Comprei na Ourivesaria Carneiro, rua das flores 225 por confiar que seria um produto de qualidade. Infelizmente trago essa notícia sobre o presente comprado com tanto carinho. Meus cumprimentos.
