A curiosidade por uma subida ao topo de uma ponte e a vista única que esta oferece da cidade levou-nos à Porto Bridge Climb. Num ambiente seguro e muito descontraído, embora controlado, percorremos as centenas de degraus que nos levou ao topo do arco da Ponte da Arrábida. E a vista não desiludiu, é uma forma única de ver ambas as cidades que a ponte une. A guia foi dando instruções e até serviu um pequeno copo de chocolate com um pouco de Porto. A história também está partilhada nas paredes, com as várias fazes de construção. Talvez com o tempo possa ser possível acrescentar valor à subida, com a passagem para Gaia ou alguma actividade feita na ponte, dado que, para apenas a subida, é um esforço financeiro demasiado elevado. Recomendo vivamente o extra pelo serviço de fotografia.

Don't leave Porto without climbing to the top of the arch.
You better check-in before, there are guided tours starting in each 45 minutes.
The panorama from the top of the arch in unique. It could be windly, but the safety is 200%.
And great stories about the history of all bridges from the city. If you are attracted to history, this is a must.

A MUST DO! One of the best things to enjoy while visiting Porto, Portugal. The view is amazing and the guides are the BEST! When you reach the top the guides answer all your questions for tips on what to do in Porto. They give account about the history of the bridge and all the things related to it.

Wirklich nette Guides, der Ausblick lohnt sich. Der Aufstieg selbst ist eher unspektakulär, über Treppen am Seil gesichert, im Entenmarsch nach oben. Für den Aufstieg werden die Handys der Teilnehmer*innen eingesammelt und oben wieder verteilt. Preis-Leistung passt.

We had a wonderful experience climbing the arch of Arrábida bridge with our guide, Inez. We went during the 730pm session and were fortunate enough to capture a lovely sunset view of Porto. Our guide pointed out notable landmarks from our vantage point, shared the history and significance of the bridge, and offered us some port wine and chocolate during our stay at the top of the arch.
Great experience! A must do for people visiting Porto, recommend to do this earlier in your visit to have the useful visual landmarks.

Segunda vez que subi o arco da ponte da Arrábida. Pensando que a segunda vez superasse a primeira. Felizmente com o desconto da TIME out, porque 16€ por pessoa não justifica a atividade. Vale por ser único e por conseguir uma vista de um sítio improvável. Para fazer uma vez!

This is a must do when visiting Porto... The view is amazing and everyone is very friendly. For €3.50pp you get quite a few pictures, including action shots with a drone. Carolina was friendly, chatty, and informative. Exactly what you want for your tour.

Bonita zona, con mucho que visitar. Entre este puente y el de Luis l hay un parking donde puedes dejar el coche y visitar todo dando un relajado paseo disfrutando de las maravillosas vistas. Si se coge el billete para las rutas en bus no se necesita coche, es la mejor forma de visitar todos los puntos de interés de la ciudad sin preocuparse de buscar parking, o incluso arriesgarse a ser multado.

Expectacular experiencia. Con guía y equipo de escalada se sube hasta la mitad. No se pasa al otro lado. Se sube en grupo pero de la gente que hay reservada. Al final para disfrutar te dan chupito de chocolate con vino porto.

Una decepción en toda regla. Estabamos ansiosos por subir pero bajamos con un mal sabor de boca. Lo más interesante es ponerte un arnes y subir las escaleras. Por el resto, no puedes acercarte a los lados siempre estas en la pasarela y con un espacio limitado. Cabe decir también que lo mas decepcionante fue la guia. La chica era amable pero lo primero, si ofrecen un tour español que no digan en el ultimo momento que si lo puede hacer en ingles porque se siente mas comoda. Lo segundo es que antes de subir al puente, en la base hay una exposición de las fotos de su construcción y si fuera una visita guiada como es lo que ofrecen, como mínimo una explicacion y alusión a estas fotos y no una breve explicacion en la cima hablando sobre francesiña y vino de oporto.
Nada recomendable basicamente.

Zu Beginn der Führung ist mancher schon etwas aufgeregt ob dieser Aufstieg gefährlich wird. Dem ist aber ganz und gar nicht so..
Man hat immer 2m Betonfäche neben sich und bekommt nicht die Möglichkeit einmal senkrecht nach unten zu schauen...
Die Gurte und Seile finde ich völlig übertrieben.
Die Führung und das was erzählt wird ist allerdings sehr gut gemacht. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett und geben Ihr Bestes die Leute bei Laune zu halten..
Ob dieser Ausflug das Geld wirklich wert ist muss jeder dann selber entscheiden...

Wir hatten uns wirklich auf den Abend gefreut, wurden allerdings ziemlich enttäuscht. Der Aufstieg wurde den Versprechen nicht gerecht. Von der Brücke hat man leider einen sehr eingeschränkten Blick & kann es deswegen nicht genießen. Man kann nicht von der Brücke hinunterschauen, da davor noch 4 Meter Betonfläche sind. Der Weg führte auf beiden Seiten hoch, allerdings konnte man nur auf einer Seite hoch & konnte dann von der anderen Seite leider fast gar nichts sehen.
15€ pro Person sind dafür nicht ansatzweise angemessen.

Vue impressionnante depuis le pont qui vibre parfois à cause du trafic routier important... Bonne prise en charge de l'équipe, Ines qui s'est occupée de nous était très agréable et souriante et l'escalade vous réserve une petite surprise une fois en haut... Seul bémol le prix, un peu cher pour cette courte activité.

Yes, it is something out of the ordinary, but in the end of the day you have walked up some stairs (they are not bad, even untrained people can do that easily) and look at the river. You cannot look down though, because you cannot go to the sides of the bridge. You always stay in the middle. Pictures will always feature the bridge as well because of that. From below it looks high, but when you're up you never feel it. The bridge is rock solid and does not sway. Staff was nice. Prices are a tiny bit too high.

Would probably rate the experience 4* but Davide was such a nice bloke, he deserves 5*. The climb is roughly 260 steps and will leave you catching your breath at the top, but you get a very cool couple of views.
Westward, you can gaze out towards the mouth of the Douro, as it meets the Atlantic and the horizon beckons. The next piece of land would be North America. Look east, and you can see the rooftops of all of Porto.
At the top, Davide gave us some port in chocolate cups and spent about 10 minutes telling us the history of the bridge, Porto and many more cool facts, plus gave us a few minutes for photos.
Although some people will say you can just walk across the bridge, being below it yet high up gives a different, more intimate opportunity to enjoy the view.

Loved this even in the pouring rain with high winds.. My guide David was exceptional. It was only he and I braving the elements.. I was only in Porto for 1 day and in spite of the yucky weather David took me up.. Explained all the highlights we could see Nd those we could not :) then he gave me great touring suggestions for the time limit had. They ( he AND Pedro) gave me rain pants and jacket and umbrella.. I'm so glad I did it. I will be back when it's warmer and tell others to stop by.. EVEN IN THE WINTER MONTHS :)

Best experience of my whole holiday. It started out with a misunderstanding, so that I was at the bridge with no one being there. I was really disappointed, because I didn't expect it as the contact an service were so great before. Pedro, the chef called me and apologized, that there was a mistake by one of the guides and invited me to do a private bridge climb at night. He picked me up at my hotel and showed me the bridge. We had a great talk, he took me back to my hotel. The experience itself was incredible, but what impressed me most, is the passion Pedro puts in his business, as all the stuff is extremely reliable all the time and a "forgotten" client never happened before. I would highly recommend the tour, the company and the bridge itself. It's a breathtaking view, even at night.

Mais uma forma de fazer dinheiro à custa de uma aventura, o atual Porto no seu melhor. Inventasse tudo e mais alguma coisa para que os mais incautos aventureiros desembolsem 20 euros! Não é coisa pouca, são 20 euros! Para verem o Douro noutra prespectiva e no final tem direito a um porto. Que mais irão imaginar para que os camones deixem ficar cá a pasta toda, que depois pró ano se vê, o que mais se pode arranjar.

Es war ein einzigartiges und großartiges Erlebnis. Wir haben die Aussicht über Porto und in Richtung des Atlantik sehr genossen. Oben wurde etwas über die Geschichte der Brücke erzählt und es gab eine kleine Überraschung. Die Guides sind super nett und zuvorkommend. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Wrażenia nieadekwatne do ceny. Wejście odbywa się jedna strona i zejście również ta sama strona. Poniekąd brak możliwości lepszego spojrzenia na druga stronę mostu. Samo wejśie niezbyt męczące, możliwe dla każdego, bez ograniczeń wiekowych. Na górze poczęstunek w postaci Porto z kubeczków czekoladowych. Trik marketingowy z domniemany fotografem tylko w wybranym dniu tygodnia. Ogólnie mocno średnie. Cena nieadekwatne co do oferowane atrakcji. Spokojnie możba sobie odpuścić.

The only bridge climb in Europe, so it's a must do. The sunset climb is highly sought after, but a great experience any time of day. Fairly straightforward & basic, but the company is looking to expand to make it more interesting in the near future.

When you visit Portugal you must climb this bridge. It's #portobridgeclimb it was my first experience of climbing the bridge and I must say I enjoyed it. It was so much fun and the view from the bridge is so beautiful.

I live close to the bridge. I see many people going up. Extremely stupid. For free go to the upper level of the bridge with better view, more space, more pleasant. Just follow the normal Road and passwalk and find yourself free, independent and with better view. Typical snowflake attraction.

Friendly guides and some great views, I did an early afternoon but suspect one later at night will be more impressive if you have the choice.
It's a bit away from the main downtown but there's a tram stop right outside so easy to get too.

Meh. Booked a 6:15pm with the very express point of being on the bridge in time for 619pm sunset. The prior group appeared to be delayed returning. We did the short walk up stairs. No real thrill and no time to stop and enjoy the view. We were two in our group with a hen party and a single lady. The guides kept referring to us as a family and only focused on the hen party in terms of sharing information, chocolate, and port. The photographer paid attention to us and the single lady offering family photos to us which was awkward after the initial jokes got old. Anyway, not a terrible experience but definitely won't be doing it again for the money it cost or the experience unless I happen to transform into a cute girl in a hen party.

Gostei da novidade. Guias mto simpáticos. O único senão é a descida ser pelo mesmo local. Uma vez que não se pode descer para o lado de Gaia, devia haver uma passagem no topo do arco para se descer do lado da foz.

Um passeio inusitado e super inovador, afinal subir o arco de uma ponte não é para qualquer um... Subimos o arco da Ponte Arrábida com o Porto Bridge Climb. O atendimento é fantástico do Pedro e da Bea que nos instruiu durante toda a subida. Você sobe o arco através de uma escada usando todos os itens de segurança e quando chega lá em cima tem uma linda vista da paisagem do rio Douro e do outro lado o pôr do sol belíssimo de Porto, na experiência ainda é servido vinho do Porto no copinho de chocolate! Fantástico! É um passeio muito diferente, realmente inesquecível. Vale muito a pena fazer!

Fomos fazer um passeio inusitado e super inovador para nós: subir o arco de uma ponte!!! Pensaaaaaa manooo. Subimos o arco da Ponte Arrábida com o Porto Bridge Climb. Atendimento fantástico do Pedro e da Bea que nos instruiu para a subida. Vc sobe o arco através de uma escadinha e qdo chega lá em cima tem uma linda vista da paisagem do rio Douro e do outro lado o pôr do sol belíssimo de Porto. E para abrilhantar a experiência ainda é servido vinho do Porto no copinho de chocolate! Fantástico!

nice experiense, good opportunity to the city and the river from a different perspective. the staff is really nice and help you with the harness and make sure you understand the safety rules. you spend quite a long time up, so there's enough time to take selfies and enjoy the views. the ticket seems to be a bit pricy.

Super energetic awesome friendly staff, great fun "climb" and a delicious surprise :) Hope they achieve their plans to extend the climb, I would definitely come back for that :)

Short climb up stairs on the bridge. You are tethered to a security line the entire time. Great views at the top. Our guide, Ines, was great!

It is a nice experience that comes with a wonderful view. The organizers were very friendly, they provided information about their project, history of the bridge and in the end they helped by pointing on a map which are Porto’s main attractions that should not be missed.

Do this! I hate heights but had a great time up here. Staff were excellent; informative and fun, making this a pleasure to do. Great view up and down the river and a fun surprise at the top.

Great idea. Not so much a climb as a steep walk but great view at the top. No problem even for someone who's afraid of heights.

Climbing this bridge is a very fun experience and the view is amazing. Also the guides are very nice and they tell you a lot of facts about the bridge. And they have nice surprise waiting when you are on top of the bridge.

What a spectacular activity. Something totally different that you can only find in a few places around the world. It's very easy and can be for the whole family. Around sunset make for a great time to go and the lighting is perfect for photos. The staff are brilliant and very knowledgeable it's was one of the best things I did in Porto don't miss it.

Visiting Porto? This has to be at the top of your to-do list!
Grab the line 1 tram from the city centre stop, to Ponte Arrábide, and enjoy the riverside ride straight to the front door of the bridge climb. Don your harness and climb the 250+ steps to the top of the arch to enjoy the stunning views of Porto on one side, and the sea view from the other. We visited just before sunset, and thanks to a clear day was lucky to enjoy watching the sun go down and the lights of Porto start to shine as dusk settled over the city.
We climbed with Pedro, who was super friendly and informative, a big thanks to Pedro! It was a unique experience and one I'd recommend to anyone.

Surprising view, stunning building, nice staff!
Visiting the Arrábida Bridge is a memorable experience, for the experience of climbing 15 floors in a row, having a different view of Porto, learning the history of the bridges in Porto (5 out of 6 were world records when they were built).
Besides that, the staff is really friendly and the surprise on the top is great!

Pretty good... The price is a little bit on the steep side though. The same views are available free of charge at "Via Panorâmica Edgar Cardoso", but if you like experiences like that, then this is a must.
