The food was amazing - we got a bunch of appetizers (prawns, sausage, charcuterie, chicken tenders, olives, etc) - everything was delicious. Highly recommend!

Entramos a cenar por casualidad y nos encantó, la comida estaba muy rica y el trato exquisito. Me encantó encontrarme en el lavabo toallas individuales en vez de las tipicas de papel, Se nota que ponen mucho amor en su trabajo y así nos lo transmitieron. Sin duda si volvemos a Porto repetiremos.

10/10! Everything was fantastic. The service was in English and good. The olives and cream with bread were nice. The starters were unbelievable a salad of octopus and Portobello mushroom with cheese uffffff to die for. The main were filet with tomato rice and bacalao! Everything with a sangria that was excellent too. At the end an espectacular Apple crumble.

O Droop entrou já faz algum tempo na minha lista de restaurantes preferidos e nunca desilude. A comida muito bem confeccionada, a carne tenra e saborosa e as sobremesas deliciosas. Restaurante sempre a repetir!!!

Fantastic find very reasonable prices, great staff a d food very highly recommended we had the steak for 2 cooked to perfection came with side of vegetables and potatoes. Then must try the apple crumble absolutely amazing to die for and the cheese board omg about 2lb of cheese yum 2 goasses of wine and 2 bottles of beer for €49 .......5 out of 5 brillant we place near centre booked through google

Delicious grilled octopus with great portugese wine, brownie with scrumptious orange ice cream as a dessert... amazing dinner experience. Place is small but cosy. Highly recommended!

Conseguimos entrar de casualidad sin reserva, aunque recomiendo hacerla. Tienen una carta variada de tapas y platos principales, así como gran variedad de vinos. Nosotros probamos las gambas con ajo y un entrecot, estaba todo buenísimo. El trato y la atención exquisitos, el local y el ambiente es muy cuidado, tranquilo y elegante, por lo que es muy recomendable para sorprender a tu pareja.
En cuanto al precio no es lo más barato de Oporto pero está correspondido con la calidad y el vientre que tiene, nosotros no llegamos a los 25€ persona sin vino y cenamos muy bien, aunque de volver creo que cenariamos de tapas variadas porque tenían muy buena pinta todas.

Food was nice though they provided olives, and bread with butter and pâté without explaining it was charged. The wait staff took both away even though I had only had 1 piece of bread and 4 olives.... if I’d know I would have kept them as I was enjoying them..!

Restaurante agradável, boa carta, com uma aceitável variedade de petiscos, alguns pratos principais e uma agradável seleção de vinhos.
Tudo que pedimos estava saboroso, o serviço é simpático mas em alguns momentos um pouco demorado, a sala é pequena mas não nos sentimos que estávamos sentados com os restantes clientes, claro que que isto vai sempre depender de quem se sentar ao seu lado.

Perfect in every way.
Without a doubt the best restaurant I have been to in a long time. The food was exquisite, the service was amazing, the design of the restaurant was stunning, the price great too and not very expensive. Very interesting and contemporary menu, I would have paid more for this experience as it was incredible. Just go!
Try the sangria for sure and the puddings are a must, the chocolate mousse was the best I've ever had!

Comida deliciosa y trato excelente, probamos el pulpo a la brasa y la tosta de sardina y estaban deliciosos. En cuanto a comida y trato del personal fueron excelentes, no le pongo 5 estrellas porque el local era algo simple y hacía bastante calor. Lugar muy recomendable, muchas gracias.

We had Dinner at this place. I would recommend to book a table, it has become very popular. Food was delicious and the wine, recommended to us by the waiter, was very good as well. And at a decent price. Staff is friendly and forthcoming as well.

Caldo Verde was like something you would get from your grandmother; layered with flavor. The prawns sautéed with lots of garlic. And I had the boar loin with wild rice & mushroom which was out-of-this world tender & flavorful. And the service was even better. The owners care about the dishes they are offering!

Stumbled across this place accidentally and came away very happy. We shared several tapas dishes, excellent examples of Portuguese cuisine - pictures are of the bacalhau com broa and moelinhas. A starter each, and three tapas dishes and dessert to share and a good bottle of wine all came to under €35!

Not really bad but not so good as reviews state. The octopus was hard to eat, steak was fine, bruschetta and prawns were really good. Staff was a bit slow. Wine mediocre.

We decided to eat here for our anniversary, and we wasn't disappointed.
It's a small, quaint restaurant with really friendly staff. The meal was wonderful, I tried Boar for the first-time which was really nice. There is also a great selection of local wines to drink.
The restaurant is popular with the locals also.

Our first dinner in Porto, and this place did not disappoint. We didn't have reservations, but we got there are early and the guy was able to squeeze us in. The food was excellent and fresh, and everything was tasty really. Our waiter was pretty awesome well...the place gets really bustling once it fills up, but there were only 2 wait staff for the entire restaurant (a guy and a girl). It's not a huge place, but as people needed this or that, I noticed he was really efficient at multitasking and taking care of everyone. I would come back here again.

진짜 맛있었어요!!! Shrimps with garlic은 감바스랑 맛이 다른데 맛있었어요
그리고 문어구이도 진짜진짜 맛있었어요
또 스테이크(boar tenderloin?)과 같이 나온 버섯밥 맛있고 돼지고기같은 스테이크는 나쁘지 않았어요
여기 진짜 맛집이에요!!!! 너무너무 강추!!!!
스파클링와인 샹그리아도 진짜 손에 꼽힐 정도로 괜찮았어요

Que sabores más raros y buenos hemos cenado, esta todo fresco y muy rico! Recomiendo mucho el pulpo y el pescado con boniato y queso han sido lo mejor, el postre no nos ha impresionado, deberían mejorarlo un poco, servicio y trato muy bien!! Totalmente recomendable para 1 cena cuando estés por Porto.

Fantástico lugar para cenar. Toda la comida estaba exquisita, en especial el postre mousse de chocolate. Uno de los mejores que he probado. Merece mucho la pena por un precio muy razonable. El servicio fue muy profesional completando la experiencia que fue perfecta.

Food is delicious out of our surprise. We had cod in sweet potato and it was amazing. The ingredients fit with each other perfectly. My hubby had pork and rice, also great! Brownie as dessert, oh my! FANTASTIC! Very friendly staff as well. Love everything about it.

Food is simply amazing, service is fast, price is reasonable but servers are not friendly. Asked for wifi (I was on international roaming) and was denied. Strange considering that most restaurants let you use their wifi

Probably the best octopus I have ever tasted and I’m a big fan. Simple but elegant interior, very nice and polite service and delicious food. It all comes with a price but definitely worth it! The chocolate brownie was insanely good.

현지인 추천으로 방문했다. 구운 통문어+토마토라이스(변경함)에 갈릭쉬림프를 시켰는데 두가지 모두 맛있는 편이였다. 문어는 질기지않고 간도 적당했다.

So pleasantly surprised by our experience here. Fresh and familiar Portuguese ingredients prepared in a creative and interesting way. Taste of every - and I mean every - dish was outstanding and left you wanting more. Service was great. Just do yourself a favor and eat here when you are in Porto!

Outstanding food and service. Very affordable too. Our tab for three people ended up at about 75euros with a lot of tapas, one entree, dessert and drinks. Service was phenomenal. If you're visiting Porto, this is a must visit.

This place is modern, with simple menu... good food, good service and a reasonable price. I got the camembert with caramelized apples as starter... I have no idea why they have it listed as starter... it should be listed as dessert. It was extremely sweet. I also order the mushroom with garlic (which he forgot to put in the order)... and somehow I got a mix salad , which I didn’t order... but I just went with the flow and ate the salad... it was very basic in taste. I’ll have to try the mushroom next time. I ordered the sirloin steak, I could see based on the cut and shape of meet that it would be exactly what I love. I was surprised that they didn’t ask how I wanted cooked. I was even more surprised that when they bring out the steak it was exactly how I wanted it cooked. It is probably my favorite steak in Portugal.
The second time I came here... I had the mushroom in garlic sauce (the was very salty), the mushroom had great flavor. I had the stuffed chicken breast with saffron (this dish was perfection... every touch, every aspect). Based on what I’ve tasted so far... I would suggest skipping starters and going for main dish... since their main dish is what they do best.
Everything was great and I can see this place being a fantastic date place.

O Restaurante Droop Food & Wine tem uma área pequena, porém confortável. Decorações e mobiliários modernos e bonitos. Ambiente muito limpo, que inclui os banheiros. O Polvo Alagareiro é excelente e caro, como todo o cardápio, mas é imperdível.

Adorei o local
Muito acolhedor, sossegado, com música ambiente, sufisticado, o design é lindo com características de caves de vinhos do porto com algumas características minhôtas.
Em termos da gastronomia, adorei todos os pratos desde a estrada à sobremesa, os sabores estavam em harmonia.
Juntar 2 gastronomias minhôtas (bacalhau e queijo de cabra) num só foi perfeito e autêntico.
O Staff muito simpático e acolhedor, sempre atenciosos .
O preço é moderado mas compensa pela qualidade e apresentação dos pratos.
Aconselho vivamente a irem a este local.

Wouldn’t go there EVER again. Not only was the waitress more than arrogant (em... dont work as a waitress if you dont like facing people?!?). We waited for quite some time and clearly all staff were busy with other stuff rather to clear up the table or pass us the menu.
Instead we found this OTHER Restaurant called LAUREAR just 1 min away. We were speechless how tasty the food of local produce were and the staff explained in such detail on wine and variety of olive oil. Forget Droop, hello Laurear!

The guys are super cool. We had dinner (I tried the wildhog, very nice) and then we took some porto wine, and they also explained us a bit and offered us one type to try. The place is well setup and cozy.

As tapas sao divinais, pratos muito bem confecionados, carta de vinhos apropriada, tanto para vinhos com preçoes mais acessiveis, como vinhos com preço mais elevado. A Sangria é divinal. As sobremesas são nmuito boas. Preço médio 20 EUR
