I used to go there to cut my hair. The place is a bit small, but service was great! Hope I can go there again:)

I would have given 5 for the haircut and colour by Daniela. The prices were agreed. Half way through, my 5 year old daughter wanted a trim too. My fault for not asking the price cos I assume it would at least be cheaper or free for kids like what we have in most salons in the Netherlands if the adults have a hair service too. I was shocked in the end to hear that my daughter was also charged 30 euro (which was the price for my quite extensive haircut) for just a trim on her bangs and ends and a little braid. I was in a rush to go somewhere so I didn't want to fuss, paid and left. Positive and negative experience for me!

Daniela gave me my best cut ever during my vacation in Porto. She listened to what I wanted and gave advice on what was feasible. And didn’t cut too much like I asked for! Just really good experience and couldn’t recommend enough. My boyfriend even came the day after for a shave and trim.

Would definitely recommend! I chose this hairdresser based on the positive reviews and was not disappointed. Daniele was very good in first looking at my hair, advice and cut + style it for a reasonable price. I mentioned I was a bit hungry because of my flight delays and she immediately offered me this delicious snack. Everyone is very friendly in the store and there is a good vibe. Thanks again Daniele

Très bien coiffé et reçu par Anna, a Lab Sixtyone, le tout en francais, italien, portugais ou anglais.
L’ambiance est décontractée, bonne playlist pour patienter. Rien a redire

Paguei 70 euros para pintar o cabelo cor de rosa (70 euros !) (sem corte nem nada) e 10 dias depois, a cor desapereceu !
Fiquei ali mais de 2 horas e nem um café ou um copo de agua me ofereceram !
É uma poca vergonha !
Podem arranjar muito melhor e muito mais barato noutros sitios !

Hadn't had a haircut in over 4 months. Needed a trim for a big event. Ceśar cut my hair and did a very thorough job. Would highly recommend his service

You only need one Word to describe this Barbershop: AWESOME!
I highly recommend this Barbershop, very low prices and very high quality. Especially Daniela did a very good job!
If you are in Porto and want a Haircut, just go there and you will be very happy

Highly recommend Lab sixtyone. Great atmosphere and great vibes. Visiting from Australia I was very apprehensive about getting my hair done elsewhere. BUT would like to give a huge thanks to Daniela who did a great job. Daniela you’re a gem. I am super happy. If I ever have the chance to visit again, I will definitely be coming back :)

Had a random thought to chop my hair, happened to run into Lab61. All I said was:"Surprise me". And yes to my great surprise, Anna did a really great job with my haircut and I am super happy with it.

I had the utmost pleasure of cutting my long hair off. Anna did an amazing job. I had shoulder length hair and I got a brand new shirt faded pompadour style. I definitely recommend Anna and this salon for anyone who is looking for a new haircut both to residents and tourists in Porto. Well done guys. Keep up the good job.

Talk about finding a diamond in the rough!
I thought I’d give Lab Sixtyone a chance since there were a few good reviews.
Im from Melbourne and super pedantic about my hair, but decided to take a pun since my hair was annoying me whilst traveling around Europe.
I called and booked in with Danielle within the hour. All I can said is..DAAAYMM she can cut Mens hair. Typical side fade into a spike and I rate it a 10/10. As good as any hair cut I’ve had back in Melbourne.
Super affordable and cheap in my books.

Really nice salon and friendly staff! Had a haircut with Josie during my holidays in July and was really happy with the result.
My partner had a haircut and a beard trim with Cesar and I think it was one of the best beard trims he has ever had! Better than Murdock in London for sure.

Having travelled through Europe for a month, I really needed a hair cut. I went shortly after they opened without reservation. Daniella was available and cut my hair. She listened and looked through pictures with me and ensured the style was what I wanted. A shampoo + cut + blow dry for my waist length hair was €30 and although more expensive than other hair salon quoted in downtown Porto, their professionalism gave me confidence and it didn’t disappoint. Recommend booking as the place is very small and filled up quickly.

Finally took the time to have my hair cut and Daniela did a splendid job. She listened to what I had in mind, made various suggestions and the final result was perfect. I highly recommend this salon. The stylists are so much fun!

My experience at Lab Sixtyone was one of the worst experiences I have ever had in a hairsalon anywhere in the world. I ended up walking from the salon with one side of my head lighter than the other after a simple bleaching procedure. I also didn't enjoy how the owner found it necessary to mention that my hair was in 'awful' condition... not exactly what you expect from a professional. All of this happened around 2 years ago, so hopefully the salon has improved since then.

He pasado por allí para pedir una cita y los precios para el corte y color. Los dos trabajadores que estaban en la tienda han sido muy secos y no había manera de averiguar los precios. Complicaron mucho esta pregunta tan simple. Decían que la jefa no estaba en estos momentos y que no sabían cuando volvía...se notaba que querían deshacerse de mi. Muy decepcionante.

Fantastic. Josie is amazing and my cut is exactly what I wanted. The wash included a relaxing head massage and deep conditioning. She's originally from the UK so speaks English but has lived in Portugal for 25 years.

The team at Lab 61 are great - if you want a beard trim or complete re-style you will find yourself in the hands of artists. Josie is fantastic and the place bubbles with energy and excitement. Wish I could go back more often.

If you are in Porto you must visit Lab sixtyone, in the art district, Miguel Bombarda. It's an awesome hair salon and barber shop with a great team, good music, fantastic haircuts and colouring techniques!

Josie is an awesome hairdresser!! By coincidence I found that place and I am so happy with my new cut and colour! First I thight: "ash blond" well I don't know... but you were right, so much better then gold blond! :-)

Josie is an artist! She did the most gorgeous cut on my hair and she is from the Uk so language is no problem :) I will go again for sure.
