We normally just go and explore on our own but this time, as we didn’t have much time and a proper vehicle, we’ve decided to get Carlos’ help with Lobo Tours. He is a local and knows all the secret amazing spots in Gerês. It was just us and the sound of the water! With his 4x4 and some trekking we got to several different areas quickly with good fun (up and down the hills feeling the culture in the middle of Gerês) An experience that we won’t forget! Normalmente vamos à descoberta sozinhos, mas desta vez como não tinhamos muito tempo e um veículo adequado, decidimos optar pela ajuda do Carlos. Ele conhece o seu Gerês como a palma da mão e levou-nos aos sitios “secretos” mais incríveis! Eramos apenas nós e o som da água. Com a 4x4 dele e um bocadinho de caminhada chegamos a vários “espetáculos da natureza” rápido e com alguma diversão (subindo e descendo as montanhas e caminhos inacessíveis de carro, sentindo o povo e a cultura no coração do Gerês.) o Carlos é um excelente fotógrafo também! :) Uma experiência inesquecível!

Outstanding Experience! Today we took two wonderful jeep tours with Carlos and his father. They were excellent guides and showed us the beauty of the fantastic national park. We had our three sons aged 5, 5 and 8 with us and Carlos made sure they enjoyed the tour as much as we did. Full 5 stars well deserved! Absolute recommended!

Friendly owner that guided us safely through the canyons with the necessarily dose of humour and seriousness. We had a great adventure jumping and rappelling down cliffs.

Carlos Lobo is an excellent guide, we started by doing the canyoning which was an excellent experience for us as a family, We all enjoyed that very much. We were afraid that our youngest, a 9 year old, will be too afraid to do this adventure but with Carlos we all felt safe. The next day we were experiencing the Jeep tour which was also very good, Carlos is very knowledgeable and the whole ride together with the nice places he took us was, again, perfect!

Carlos is an excellent guide. His company offers an unique experience (canyoning). Every step is explained in details resulting in a safe trip. He lets us move at our own pace. It was very thrilling, with several jumps for every level. Views during the tour are amazing and we even stay at the top of a waterfall (free of tourists)! During the tour, Carlos is taking a lot of (fun) pictures giving us extra memories. Definitely recommendable, thanks Carlos!
