Tolles altes Gebäude - sehr schön restauriert - sehr großzügiges Zimmer mit riesigem Bad - Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen (sehr viel besser als in Südeuropa sonst üblich)

The property definitely lived up to its name. It was charming as was the staff who at all times were helpful and informative. As an alone traveller the location was perfect and close the action of Porto very secure and safe. Breakfast was lovely with fruit and nuts etc available during the day to have in your room or sit out in the lovely garden. Five stars from me.

Don’t touch with a barge poll. They took £640 of my money to then cancel my room and leave me in the lurch only offering an alternative room at a hotel which had the following message on their website: “We inform our guests that due to the rehabilitation of the building on the other side of the street, despite the double glazing that equip the windows, they may be disturbed by some noise inherent to the work in progress.” Naturally for a 30th birthday surprise trip for my husband I would not want to stay somewhere like that - the hotel also looks far more basic that the original one booked so I can only assume charm palace wanted to pocket the difference. Charm palace then refused to help or give me a refund for the room which I booked despite not providing me with the room which I had paid for!

Was great! Bruno couldn’t do enough for us, room was spacious and clean, and in great proximity to the centre! Would definitely stay there again.

Very lovely place to stay. Bruno and Ines looked after us very well. The rooms were spacious and stylish, with particularly beautiful bathrooms. Only one recommendation that would improve things - tea and coffee making facilities in each room would be a great touch

This beautiful old house with its 5-meter high ceilings is the perfect way to spend your vacation in Porto. The prices are reasonable, the rooms big and the staff eager to help to make your stay unforgettable. The location is very convenient, as it only takes 10-15 minutes to the city center by walking.

Very stylish property but they have sacrificed comfort and practicality for beauty in some areas like clothing storage. Be aware there is no A/C in most rooms. Fans are provided.

We were very pleased with our stay at the Charm Palace. A beautiful converted historical property in the heart of the city..easy walking distance to the main areas...Our room was clean, spacious and overlooked the lovely contemporary styled garden. We were'nt a fan of the open bathroom. We loved the style, decor, high ceilings and original Portuguese floor tiles.Help your self tea service was appreciated with pastries and fresh fruits during the day.Continental breakfast was okOur wonderful experience of Porto was made possible by Majorie, she was an absolute gem, friendly, helpful and full of information..We will return on our next visit..Thank you Majorie.

If you are looking for a property with character, charm and that personal touch this is the place to stay! Location is perfect as you are only 15min walk away from the river but also far enough away from the tourist traps. Our room was perfect, with a nice large bed and amazing bathroom. (I actually think the photos online dont do this place justice). Staff were truly kind and helpful during our stay gave us loads of advice on where to go and spend time.i dont have one negative thing to say about this place, apart from i wish i had spent more time to utilise some of the communal areas.

Charm Palace was beautifully designed and decorate. Our bathroom was wonderful. The lovely young man on the desk was very helpful and polite.

I cannot emphasize enough how much we enjoyed our time at Charm Palace! Our room was so unique and beautiful and we felt very comfortable and at home. Vasko greeted us upon check-in and he made our stay so enjoyable and fun. He took the time to show us things to do around the beautiful city of Porto and really made the whole experience for us flawless. We will always remember our time there and cannot wait to return again!

The hotel is beautiful. Design and style is well done. Check in was great and friendly. Location was perfect. Room was beautiful. My only suggestion would be to get better beds. Mattress was way to solid.

Hat at a wonderful hidden gem. The hotel is in a wonderful building where it has kept a lot of the old features but modernised it at the same time. The staff are the friendliest people I've ever met, they will go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay. The location is fantastic. It is not right in the middle of town so it is nice and peaceful, but you can easily walk to the main streets in 5-10 mins.

Há locais que vivem por si só e ponto e há locais que, vivendo por si só, vivem ainda mais (e melhor) pelas pessoas que lá estão para nos receber. O Palácio Fenizia é um desses casos. Trata-se de uma guesthouse de charme, muito charme e beleza, que vale a pena conhecer só por isso. Agora se, a tudo isso, juntarmos a simpatia e competência de quem tão bem nos acolhe (a Mónica e a sua equipa) a experiência só podia ser perfeita. Aconselho!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Palacío Fenezia. The owner is wonderful, and his staff is equally so. Our room was beautiful, comfortable and very clean. The location is perfect, just a short walk to many main attractions including the market, a popular patisserie, the tram and historical centre. We look forward to visiting Gianfrancos next project, wherever that may be. Highly recommended!
