Purtroppo come ostello ha bisogno di lavori. Anche se la camera un po' piccolina aveva un terrazzino molto carino. Posizione favolosa facilmente raggiungibile con la metropolitana direttamente dall'aeroporto

Accoglienza gentile, anche se all’inizio non riuscivo a capire dove fosse la reception perché non c’è nessun cartello. Stanza doppia molto carina e pulita, peccato che era attaccata al bagno e quando qualcuno si faceva la doccia potevo sentire tutto come se fossero in camera con me. Ad aprirsi e chiudersi, le porte facevano molto rumore, ed il balcone, con una bellissima vista, era però condiviso con altra gente, quindi il rumore degli altri si sentiva ancora di più. La posizione è ideale, si affaccia sulla famosa Rua da Santa Catarina, l’hub dello shopping di Porto.

Habitaciones compartidas muy muy limpias, zonas comunes muy espaciosas y bien cuidado, te atienden fenomenal y te ayudan en todo la gente de recepción. Bien ubicado, conectado con terminas de autobuses y metro directo al aeropuerto, en una de las calles más comerciales de Oporto. Todo perfecto, recomendable 100%.

Found it by accident but I'm glad I did. We only spent an evening there, but the facilities were very nice and comfortable and the room we stayed in was big enough, well lit and nicely decorated. The bathroom was big enough and the water was burning hot which was great in the cold night. The staff was very friendly and nice, spoke great English and were very fast though effective in their work. Thanks.

One of the best hostels ever. Clean, calm and quiet, and super cheap! Amazing. 2 Kitchen, lockers in the rooms, laundry, living room with tv and sofa...And in the city center! Nice people working here

위치도 좋고 직원이 매우 친절합니다. 더블룸을 썼는데 뷰가 바로 메인거리였습니다. 위치는 지나치기 쉬운 곳에 있어서 번지수를 보고 찾으면 됩니다. 화장실도 공용이지만 더블룸 두개만 쉐어 하는 형태라서 편하게 쓸수있었습니다. 또한 체크인하기전 체크아웃한뒤에도 짐을 보관할수있어서 매우 편리했습니다. 추천하는 포르투호스텔입니다. 다만 엘리베이터가없어서 짐많으신분은 힘들수도있습니다.

Es un hostel muy limpio. Nos permitieron dejar las maletas unas horas antes de nuestro check in. El hostel no está lejos de la zona donde se toman los tour, pero tampoco está súper cerca.

This Hostel is really nice. You can walk into the City Center, and there is little cafe and food places all around it. The staff was really friendly, and gave me good recomandations for porto. The only thing that was not so nice is the bed kind of smelled of sweat :(

Great stay and location on Santa Catrina. We had 3 bedroom apartment wjth a great covered terrace overlooking the pedestrian walk street. Is noisy at night due to drunken tourists and locals below on the street.

Super, polecam :) fajny klimat, ciężko znaleźć drzwi (ukryte między 2 restauracjami ) ale obsługa świetna, recepcjonistka bardzo przyjazna i ładna :D, pokoje w porządku, duzo stref do chillu ;)

Bardzo fajna lokalizacja hostelu blisko do metra, gdzie można się szybko przesiąść na lotnisko/dworzec autobusowy (chociaż to tylko jeden przystanek). W pokojach przytulnie i czysto. Nasz pokój znajdował się od strony deptaku. Ceny przystępne. Polecam

Friendly reception, well-lit, wonderfully decorated spaces and in a great location. Minor downsides: (1) The blanket triggered my dust allergies; (2) No lift access, so expect to drag your things up 1-2 stories.

A hostel that needs to do more maintenance. Specially paid more for dorm with ensuitre bathroom. However, the wifi and hot shower wasn't available. Only the wifi was repaired asap. The hot shower wasn't repaired and we were asked to use the toilets next to the reception. This caused a lot of inconvenience in the morning as we had to share the toilets with numerous guests. The morning receptionist is not friendly towards Asians. Only white people. Such discrimination is uncalled for. The only saving grace is the location.

I don't recommend this Hostel. What I liked the most was the decoration and the fact that is very central. But according to the price you pay for what you get.

Nice hostel in the centre of Porto, right in Rua de Santa Catarina. Beds are comfortable, wash bed has a plug to recharge mobile or whatever. You have a locker with key, no towel provided but you can have one for a fee, two kitchens, a living room with TV and a terrace (partially closed). All staff I met are super friendly and nice. I definitely recommend this hostel.

Rui Pedro is fantastic!
Do not think that I very emotional.
I am 71 y.o .I am a former Director of Music School and have many years teaching experience
I was exciting (like former teacher) that in Portugal have different kind of young people.
Mr RUI is very intelligent, cultural and educated person.
And like staff he is excellent! He is very professional, helpful and polite.
Now I have more free time and travelling every month, but on my opinion, Mr Rui speak only very good English in from all receptions which I met.
I know 5 languages, I hope, that English my last language which I learn.
But my English teacher in England will be exciting about perfect English of Pedro!

Hostel com otima localização. Acesso facil ao centro e baixo Porto. Tudo a pe. Otimo custo e estrutura geral. Acho que faltou mais banheiros pela quantidade de hospedes possíveis. Atendentes bem atenciosos. Fiquei em quarto compartilhado em 6 pessoas. Os frequentadores tambem eram tranquilos.

Habitación privada para 2 con cama de matrimonio con balcón y pagué 31 euros. Cama cómoda, habitación limpia, lo único malo el baño compartido un poco sucio y lleno de humedad.

Recomendo este hostel, um dos melhores que há na cidade do porto, só não digo que é o melhor de todos hostels porque não fiquei em todos, mas já fiquei em três hostels e uma guest house, nenhum deles superou este, desde o ambiente, os funcionários, a limpeza, por isso dou 5 estrelas e recomendoooo....

Clean hostel with good Wifi, two kitchens, free lockers and well located a ~20 min walk from the heart of the old town.
But my stay was spoiled by the other guests who threw a loud party until 1:30am in the kitchen right next to some of the rooms. I asked them twice to quiet down and there were non-guests there.
The hostel needs to do something to stop this! Staff leaves at 10pm so they could stay later. Or at least put up signs about quiet hours.

We stayed here for one night and the staff was very nice and helpful. We stored our bags for the day while we explored Porto. I take off a star because there was so much noise in the common room that it was difficult to sleep. Our room was situated just around the corner from it and there were other guests socialising there. Not the hostel's fault that people like to stay up late but there should be a sign for quiet hours.

#Recepção (9/10): Ambiente agradável, porém a “recepção” fica no 2o andar tem que subir escadas
#Checkin (3/10): funcionário super gente boa, até ajuda a carregar as malas, porém falou que só aceitava dinheiro (dias depois descobri que o Hostel aceita cartão)
#Cozinha (7/10): espaço bom, panelas talheres e pratos bom, você consegue cozinhar tranquilo, inclusive tem mais de uma cozinha. A cozinha também é espaço de convivência só que não tem tomadas para notebook, isso é muito ruim
#Café da manhã (7/10): não tem essa opção , tem padaria na frente ou você pode usar a cozinha
#Geladeira (9/10): tranquilo , sempre com espaço, quando cheguei não tinha ticket para anotar o nome, depois tinha
#Quartos (9/10): camas tipo beliche de ferro em ótimo estado, alguns quartos com cortinas outros não,
#Banheiros (7/10): um dos banheiros ,no andar de cima, a água fica fria no meio do banho mesmo no quente, outro sem box
#Barulho/festa (10/10): você consegue dormir, local super tranquilo
#Bar (9/10): pouca opções de bebida, mas tem cerveja, água e refrigerante com preço justo
#Avisos (7/10): Somente em inglês , poderia ter em Espanhol
#Valor (9/10): é um dos mais baratos
#Checout: (5/10): funcionário não muito feliz, minha mala ficou no armário e na hora de sair ele não sabia onde estava a chave, se eu estivesse atrasado poderia ter perdido o bus

Super leuke plek voor een hostel! De man bij de receptie was oprecht en aardig. Wel oordopjes meenemen en een kapje voor over je ogen. De muren zijn dun en je hoort alles. Onze kamer zat naast de badkamer dus de hele nacht kregen we licht in onze kamer en hoorde we veel kabaal. Maar met oordopjes is het prima te doen.

Travel & Live Porto is a great hostel that’s located near the center of the city. It’s very clean, modern and is full of friendly travelers. In dorms that you sleep in you can find a comfortable bed and a locker, that’s not very big. There are two kitchens, two open rooms with sofas, tables etc and one garden that’s located inside of a building, that you can see on a photo. The staff is lovely: they are helpful, offer you free things like earplugs and are very talkative. I truly recommend you to stay in Travel & Live Hostel when you are visiting Porto. I believe that you will fall in love with that place.

Lovely, friendly hostel. Lovely modern decor, beds comfy and clean plus have a convenient shelf and plug next to each bed. Kitchens well equipped (there are two) and nice communal area on the top storey. Lockers spacious and plenty of room underneath the bunk to store your luggage. Also, this hostel is excellently located. I would stay again.

I was very, very pleased to make this hostel my home for the couple of days I spent in Porto. Very cozy place with friendly and helpful staff. I stayed one night in an 8 bed dorm room and the second in a private room and would recommend both. Also, it has a great location, fast wifi, and underbed pull out lockers in the dorm room. Thank you for everything guys!

Pasamos una noche en este hostal y estuvimos muy poco tiempo. Aunque la habitación en la que estábamos era bastante pequeña, para estar durante una corta estancia es suficiente.
La ubicación del hostal es perfecta, ya que se encuentra en la misma Rúa de Santa Catarina, que está al lado del metro que va directo al aeropuerto y al lado de la estación de autobuses.
Una pega que encontramos es que no pudimos pagar con tarjeta y no lo supimos hasta nuestra llegada.
La chica que nos atendió fue muy amable y pese a que el horario de recepción es hasta las 22:00 nos recibieron más tarde, aunque es necesario avisar antes.

The hostel looks clean, but it is not!
After 3 nights spent in this hostel, I returned home bitten by bugs.
Bite marks last a very long time, it itches very hard and it looks it terrible.
Although the location is good I would not recommend this hostel to anyone!
I travel a lot and this was the worst hostel I have ever stayed at!

El apartamento con terraza es cómodo, sobre todo las camas. La terraza está genial, aunque con el frio no le sacamos partido. La ubicación es perfecta. La atención fue de 10, muy amable y servicial. Lo recomiendo sin duda. Los únicos detalles, que es un cuarto sin ascensor y que el agua caliente es de termo y siendo 5 hay que esperar un pelín para ducharse todas. Pero repartiríamos sin ninguna duda, calidad precio inmejorable.

Hostal básico pero súper bien ubicado. Por 8.5€ pude dormir en un dormitorio compartido de 4 personas. También disponen de habitaciones dobles. Ambiente muy tranquilo y personal muy amable.
Lo más destacable son sus zonas comunes, incluyendo una terraza interior. Dispone también de dos cocinas 24h.
La recepción está abierta de 10h a 22h pero se puede acordar un check in más tarde avisando con antelación. En las llaves te entregan una para tu taquilla, por lo que no es necesario llevar candado (eso sí, es estrecha)
Está en una de las calles principales de compras, por lo que no te faltará de nada.
