We love this place and will definitely stay here again when we return to Porto. (1) Location - it is in a fantastic spot right in the heart of the city, walkable to most areas and very close to public transit. There is a small bodega right across the street if you want some fresh fruit and/wine, snacks. Down the block is the largest Asian supermarket in Porto if you’ve a hankering for Asian snacks, treats, and cheap “agua con gas” (seltzer!) (2) Service - loved my end-to-end experience with the White Box team. From the moment of booking to check out, they proactively reached out to make sure I had everything I needed and provided help/answered questions promptly. The staff was friendly and welcoming (what’s up Rita!) They let us come in early and leave our bags, and then on the last day held our bags after we checked out so we can play in Porto unencumbered until our departure. (3) Aesthetic - whoever did the interior design of this place knew what they were doing. The place is not really a hotel (only 5 rooms) and not really a hostel (much nicer and better service). The rooms were comfortable (the doors/locks were a tad loud though, so you could always hear when someone was entering/exiting their rooms) and bathrooms were nice. We had a lovely view of the city from our room. A very cute shared dining/living room area for breakfast and/or lounging with a book - it was my favorite room at the White Box. One last note: wifi was a little spotty, probably because we were on the third floor. (4) That. Freaking. Breakfast!! Seriously, the breakfast spread is amazing. I got to juice my own oranges for fresh OJ - there’s fresh coffee, espresso, your choice of fresh bread(s), croissant, cheeses, cake of the day, cold meats, cereals, jams, and fresh fruit. Also delicious yogurt. Umm I loved waking up to the smell of fresh coffee and looked forward to breakfast and dining with our fellow travelers. What more can I say? I love this place.

בית דירות נעים ונחמד הממוקם במרכז פורטו ובמרחק הליכה לכל מקומות הבילוי והמקומות התיירותיים שמציעה פורטו. למי שלא מחפש מלונות פאר מוזמן להתארח במקום, צוות הבית שירותיים ומקבלי פנים, מומלץ מאוד.

Best hotel ever. It is in a great location and the breakfasts in the morning was such a lovely experience. I will go back here every time I go to Porto! And such a great deal too.

Everybody knew that it was impossible to fly to Portugal, beaches were closed, flights were cancelled and all over the world hotels, travel agents and flights accepted cancellations - except the White Box Boutique Hotel. Sad attitude towards the customers. I doubt that taking the money instead of showing a customer friendly attitude will pay out - we won't come back but spread the word how management chose money over decency.

Situata su rua Santa Caterina, la strada più commerciale di Porto, ed a un isolato dalla metro Bolaho. È, probabilmente, un edificio d'epoca ristrutturato. Ha tutti i comfort, purtroppo manca l'ascensore, il personale è molto disponibile e si prende carico del trasporto dei bagagli. Le camere sono grandi, il bagno, almeno il nostro, non era molto grande ma funzionale. La doccia era veramente grande e funzionale. L'arredamento essenziale ma molto accogliente. La colazione buona e a self service.

Buen gusto en todos los aspectos, rehabilitación y decoración. Atención amable y educada. Todo muy limpio. El desayuno excelente con buena música. Ubicado en una vía principal

ממליצה בחום, למרות המדרגות הרבות. מיקום נהדר. אנשי צוות מאוד נחמדים ו עזרו לנו בכל שבקשנו. המחיר לא גבוה . החדר שלנוו היה מרווח . מקלחת טובה. ארוחת בוקר טעימה ומספיקה. יש אפשרות להשתמש בחד האוכל בכל שעה. להשאיר דברי אוכל במקרר.

Very nice and small hotel; very kind staff; big room; clean; quiet place but good shops and bars around, good starting point to discover the city: fully recommended!

Avevamo prenotato una camera raccomandando che fosse ad un piano basso e ci è stata assegnata una stanza nella mansarda, senza ascensore e con 5 rampe di scale. Camera peraltro disadorna, senza armadio per gli abiti e non certo spaziosa.Colazione con solo alcuni biscottini al cioccolato. Abbiamo chiesto delle brioche e ci sono state procurate solo il giorno successivo è, rigorosamente, una a testa. Buona la posizione ma l'ospitalità è stata pessima.

Espaço agradável e bem localizado. Atendimento muito atencioso. O pequeno almoço podia ser mais variado (só tinham pão e uma variedade apenas). Não consegui ligar-me à rede Wi-Fi.

The White Box House is in a great location, minutes from a metro stop but close enough to the city centre as well. The rooms are clean and airy and breakfast is a good spread. Very good value!

El lavabo fora de l'habitació, però bon servei i preu raonable

Impecable atención. La encargada es muy amable y todas las mañanas prepara un desayuno delicioso. El lugar está muy limpio y la relacion calidad precio es excelente. Lo recomiendo.

Lavabo atascado de la habitacion 6, caso omiso a la petición, se nos dice que lo arreglan y finalmente nos tuvieron con el lavabo con el agua hasta arriba los 2 dias de la estancia. Por otro lado colgamos el cartel en la puerta para que arreglasen la habitación y al volver la encontramos tal cúal, una pena, el sitio merece la pena, pero la atención por parte del personal una tomadura de pelo

Este lugar es hermoso no solo por las comodidades que presenta cada habitacion y la casa en general sino tambien por estar super accesible a todos lados. Esta muy céntrico a 150m de la estacion del metro que te lleva al aeropuerto y conecta con las demas líneas. Para destacar la amabilidad y simpatia de Teresa. Lo recomiendo al ciento por ciento.

A very nice hostel. The host is very kindly and helpful, the breakfast is wonderful (same portion and taste would charge like 5 euro nearby). Location is good just 3 mins from metro station.

Perfect. Bravo! Had a great week, very friendly owners. Great historic building in perfect shape. Rooms are basic but very clean and tidy. Metro and city centre are walking distance. for only 50 euro a day there's nothing better in Porto, pretty sure about that!

Fantastic place. Great staff, ... they help with everything you ask, they took the time to thoroughly give tips and tricks about Porto! Breakfast is really great: perfect bread and cheese, delicious home made jams, freshly pressed juice and the cake of the day was banana bread with a chocolate surprise inside. YOU SHOULD STAY HERE!

Our stay at the White Box House was superb! The place, the staff, the wonderful breakfasts, were put together just perfectly to make our stay in Porto an exceptional one. The accommodations are top notch and the friendly staff not only took care of our accommodation needs but gave us tips for places to eat, helped with reservation and provided directions and plans for several wonderful walking tours. We will be back. Thanks to all of you for helping to make our stay in Porto so swell!

L'endroit est superbe. Tout en blanc et en espace. Les propriétaires sont extrêmement sympathiques et accueillants. J'y reviendrai certainement.. Très belle découverte !
