Great welcome by Anna and staff. Available to answer any questions and provide information on Braga. Fresh fruit , rolls, coffee served each morning in a lovely dining room. Exceeded my expectations of my first time in a hostel. Our room at the top so many stairs to climb!

Очень удобное расположение - самый центр Браги. Администратор говорила не только на английском, но и на польском языке. Все комнаты оформлены по-разному, но очень атмосферно и с фантазией. Наш номер был невероятно милым - какие-то "девичьи грезы" :))). Туалет и душ были коридоре, но отделены так, что пользоваться благами цивилизации могли только мы, так что по-факту у нас был номер с удобствами (который мы и бронировали). Уютная общая столовая. Утром накрывают завтрак (вполне аппетитно всё). Дополнительно можно купить холодные напитки (они хранятся в холодильнике на общей кухне). На завтрак можно уютно устроится не в столовой, а например, на балконе (там же и места для курения). Из минусов - невероятно шумно после 11-ти вечера! Как-то за этим администрация не следит совсем.

Attention aux attaques de punaises de lit qui me valent aujourd'hui un staphylocoque !!!!! La Direction finit par m'accuser de mentir, alors que ce qui m'arrive aujourd'hui est hyper grave ! J'ai le malheur d'être allergique et asthmatique, donc une proie encore plus propice à ces bestioles…. Des vacances sympas non ? Je dois retourner au Portugal pour saisir les autorités sanitaires et du tourisme. C'est la seconde fois que cela m'arrive et je trouve les managers d'établissement dans le plus grand déni et la plus grande malhonnêteté. ils ne savent même pas comment traiter le problème...On n'accueille pas des clients quand on est dans une telle ignorance !

I stayed at Collectors Hostel for two nights, it’s a really nice and cozy place with a special atmosphere that made me feel very comfortable. The hosts Hugo and João Matheus ;-) are really nice guys who welcomed me and are a super nice company, concerned about the well being of their guests. 100% recommendable - don’t miss it when you come to Braga!

This is not the fanciest, hippest, new, modern, spacious, cool hotel. Better than that: it feels like a home. Rooms are themed, and the eye for detail is wonderful. There are little trinkets everywhere (hence Collector's), but without getting messy. Some rooms might be a bit small, but the rest of the hostel makes up for it. The staff is just great, very friendly and helpful. We got some great tips for things to do in and around town. Breakfast again just adds to the home feeling. All guest join on the same table for a simple but nice breakfast. That way you get to know the other guests a bit and you might exchange ideas on how to spend your day(s) in Braga. There is a fully equipped shared kitchen, living room, dining room and balcony. The location is great in the middle of the city centre, close to the bus station and railway station. We had only booked for one night but the city and the hostel immediately felt so nice we booked another night.

The hostel is on the top floors of an old building (no elevator). The multilingual owner will welcome you, show you around and offer suggestions on what to do and where to go.We had the double room with private (external) bathroom. This room is on the same level as the kitchen, dining area, living room and office, so if youre hoping for some peace and quiet during the day, you will be at the mercy of the very talkative owner and of the guests. The guests are more considerate and quieter than the average hostel guest and it will be quiet from 11pm to 8am. At which point you may be woken by the bells of the numerous churches in the vicinity (no double glazing). The mattress was soft and the pillows firm; Id prefer it the other way round. On the plus side, the room had its own air-conditioning unit, electric blinds, a clothes line with pegs, we were provided with towels free of charge, the room price included a (simple) breakfast and the hostel felt secure.Overall, if youre (feeling) young, sociable and thrifty, Collectors Hostel offers good value at a very central location.

It’s an average hotel. A bit rundown, could do with a revamp. The staff are slightly friendly, but not much. It feels like the hotel is about to close down, the lights are mostly switched off, apart from one lamp above reception...not sure if it’s to save (I mean that is good for the environment) or of it’s just the way it is. Great breakfast. Terrible bathroom...and average bed. Serves the purpose if you are on a work trip or one night sleepover. Do not stay there as a tourist, there is nothing around.

A pleasant, clean and moderately quiet hostel with many interesting collections of different sorts throughout. Positioned in the heart of Braga with kind, helpful staff/owners. Nothing is too much trouble to ensure your stay is pleasurable. A nice continental breakfast, good cooking facilities and individual draws with locks.

This is the best hostel I have ever stay in, no question. Not only the hostel is beautifully decorated in an antique style, but also the host and staff are very welcoming and hospital. Anna and Hugo are a great team that complement each other wonderfully. I stayed in Collector Hostel for a week in May, and felt a home away from home. The breakfast served in a beautiful and elegant style was a wonderful way to start the day. I still miss the freshly squeezed orange juice. Big hug from Germany.

Great little hostel in Braga, didn't feel cramped like most hostels do! Staff were super friendly and gave me many suggestions on things to do during my stay! Free breakfast was a bonus!

Lindo e temático, acolhedores e preço justo

Service rapide, petit déjeuner basique, le salon est chargé de vieilleries, c'est bien pour la décoration mais il y a plus de place pour s's'assoir (4 fauteuil) pas tv mais un projecteur quand on trouve le fonctionnement. Beau balcon pour dejeuner. Cuisine sommaire mais efficace. Vaisselle a changer. Le lit que j'ai était très dur. Il faudrait réparer la chasse d'eau des toilettes, et fixer proprement la coupelle de savon. Les wc/douche sur le palier son loué avec la chambre, c'est donc vendu comme privatif sur la reservation mais la journée on retrouve la porte grande ouverte alors que nous avons fermé tout les matins. C'est donc une information mensonger. En plus les gens utilisait ma serviette de douche pour se laver les mains.

Las habitaciones muy pequeñas y los techos son muy bajos pero está muy bien cada habitación está ambientada de distinta forma :) la dueña es muy simpática y todos los días nos ponen un desayuno para elegir un montón de cosas, además está en el centro de Braga por lo que no hace falta coger coche para conocer Braga.

Local incrível, fez sentir-me em casa! Staff atencioso e acolhedor, ótima localização, pequeno almoço extremamente caprichado, além da vista do por do sol e da Sé de Braga.

The Portuguese Saudade room was very charming with a comfortable bed and a private shower bathroom right outside. The terrace overlooking a main pedestrian thoroughfare was great. The location is right near the lovely Jardim de Santa Barbara and a short walk to the Cathedral and other sights. The breakfast was nice, too.

Sehr sehr schönes kleines Guesthouse mit liebevoller Einrichtung, Balkon, super gutem Frühstück und herzlichem, netten Empfang! Die Zimmer sind klein und gemütlich. Das Bad teilt man sich mit den anderen Gästen. Man kann sich hier wirklich wohl fühlen und würde am liebsten ein paar Wochen bleiben. Sauber und aufgeräumt.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Die Atmosphäre ist wie Nach-Hause-Kommen.Als beim Frühstück die Brötchen ausgingen, wurde sofort frisch vom Bäcker geholt. Wir hatten das portugiesische Zimmer. Aber das ganze Haus ist unglaublich liebevoll eingerichtet. Jeder Raum in eigenem Stil. Die Lage in der Fußgängerzone könnte nicht besser sein. Abends kann der Gast sogar auf der Dachterrasse gemütlich den Tag ausklingen lassen. Fazit: Dieses Hotelzimmer ist eine Essenz seiner gemütlichen Stadt und seinen kleinen Preis allemal wert.

The hostel is cute, original, welcomming, very well located (City Center) and atypical. The receptionnist ( ? ) was really kind and helpful. The breakfast is really good, particulary the fruits salad ;) Im so glad ! Thanks a lot.

We stayed here on a two day stop off in Braga. Staff are friendly, rooms and bathrooms are clean and the bread at breakfast is delicious. Would recommend to anyone looking for a cheap place while visiting Braga.

Great location. Owners are super friendly and always wanting to make sure you have a great stay. Got a really good recommendation for dinner and even phoned and got me a reservation last minute on a super busy night. Breakfast was very good. There was a fresh fruit salad, cereal, sliced meat & cheese, buns, yogurt, coffee, tea, fresh squeezed orange juice. For Easter they even decorated the breakfast table with chocolate eggs. There is a balcony which is a great place to sit and watch the street below. Only qualms are that the bed was too firm for me but the owners really wanted to get the bed just right for me but I know that this is a hard area to accommodate everyone since everyone likes different firmness for their beds. Would have loved an elevator because it was the end of my trip and my suitcase was stuffed full of souvenirs and crazy heavy. All in all this was a great place and I wouldnt hesitate to stay again.

Quaint, safe, hostel in the heart of Braga. Joana, Anna, and Cristina were all kind, helpful, and pleasant to be around. The free breakfast includes fresh fruit salad, hand-pressed orange juice, yoghurt, bread, meat, and cheese. I loved sunbathing on the veranda and watching movies on the projector in the living room

Dieses Hostel ist anders! Der Stil der Zimmer, das Geschirr und die Treppe machen dieses Hostel zu dem was es ist. Die Betreiber hatten immer ein offenes Ohr für meine Belange und der Früchtesalat zum Frühstück ist sehr gut.

I arrived in Braga on Sunday afternoon and was warmly welcomed by one of the hostel owners, Anna. The other owner, Joanna, was away to visit her family during my 5 day stay. The hostel is beautiful and located right in the center of Braga. The hostel is beautifully decorated with paintings and ancient-looking objects that make it look like a house of a collector, which in turn explains its name. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful.I was staying in a Robinson Crusoe single room which is located in the attic of the hostel. Although the room is a little bit small compared to a normal single room (a part of the room space near the rear of the roof is too short to be used except for keeping the luggage), it is very cosy and pretty. The room is next to the Alice in Wonderland room and another double room, all of which share a bathroom which is also beautiful. The Robinson Crusoe room I was staying in was pretty clean and got tidied up every day. Besides this room, I also had access to a common living room where guests can watch movies and TV channels, to a kitchen with shared cooking utensils, and to a dinning room. Breakfasts were included in my booking and were served at your time of choice (after 8am) in the dinning room. I really liked the breakfasts with bread (could be used with bacon, cheese, jams or honey), fruit salad and a variety of drink (coffee, milk, tea, fresh juice). My overall experience at the hostel was fantastic.

Un accueil amical hors pair de Johanna et d'Anna, pdj au-dessus de la moyenne, l'impression d'un chez soi à l'étranger, home away home comme disent les anglais, le meilleur qualité prix de notre séjour de 2 mois au Portugal, une seule envie ne pas en partir...

Selon moi le meilleur rapport qualité/prix de Braga. Des chambres à thème magnifique. Une terrasse spacieuse. L'hostel est aussi très bien situé dans la ville : commerces, marché, arrêt de bus et restaurant à visiter à moins de deux minute à pieds. Sans oublier nos deux chère hôtes qui on étaient exemplaires par leurs gentillesse et leurs bienveillance. Si vous hésitiez à vous arrêter au collector's hostel n'hésitez plus !!!

Les propriétaires sont super sympathiques , on se sent comme chez nous chez elles ! La décoration est original et dépaysante, elles sont biens placer dans braga dans le centre sans inconvénients de bruits, rapport qualité prix très intéressants. Les petits déjeuners très bons.Jo et Anna nous ont aussi beaucoup aider pour trouver de bonnes adresses ( restau, lieu à visiter....) , brefs c'était parfait a recommander, merci encore à toutes les deux.
