Die Vermieter sind sehr herzlich und aufmerksam. Der Aufenthalt war trotz Regen sehr schön, das Haus ist wirklich mit allem ausgestattet was man so für den Alltag benötigt. Der Empfang Siehe Bild war als würden wir uns schon ewig kennen. Kann man nur weiter Empfehlen, Sam und Chris gaben uns auch Tips was wir unternehmen können. Eher wie Freunde...immer wieder bekamen wir Überraschungs Pakete zum Frühstück. Also wer sich wie Zuhause fühlen möchte oder gar besser, sollte dort buchen. Für uns war es ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt.

This is our second visit to Bom Vento and it certainly won't be our last. Sam and Rich are the most welcoming of hosts. They are happy to give information regarding the local areas to visit and suggested some fantastic places to visit. The accommodation is the most well stocked holiday accommodation I have experienced. The fridge is groaning with fresh food, beers, wine on arrival. As well as different choices of wine in a wine rack. Sam regularly brings fresh portugese tarts, bread, salami bread and home grown tomatoes in a morning. The accommodation is superb. It is immaculate. The bed was extremely comfortable with beautifully laundered bed linen. My wife had a lovely head to toe massage by a lovely young lady called Grace arranged by Sam. The surrounding land/valley are great for exploring. You can even help yourself to fruit in surrounding orchards. On the day before we left Sam baked beautiful scones and we joined them for coffee /scones & chat. Both Sam and Rich have a wealth of knowledge of the local area and beyond which proved really helpful. They certainly go above and beyond providing just accommodation. It deserves 5 stars and my wife and I would not hesitate in recommending Quinta Do Bom Vento. We certainly will be returning and look forward to it.

Cada dos días Kim aprovechaba su visita a la panadería para traernos provisiones que nos dejaba en la puerta en una neverita. Y así todo. Repetiremos.

Abbiamo trascorso qui nell'appartamento Adriatic 10 giorni. Luogo immerso nel verde della campagna portoghese di Óbidos. I titolari Sam e Rick sono disponibili e allegri. Ti sorprendono con colazioni fresche di pasticceria che ti lasciano la mattina dietro la porta. Ti consigliano luoghi da visitare e sagre nei dintorni. Il sorriso regna sovrano. Non dimenticheremo mai questo posto e di sicuro lo consiglierò e ci torneremo. Il nostro luogo del cuore.

QBV is a small paradise situated in a small village called Bom vento which is not too far from Obidos Town and not too close as well. Everything was perfect & let me try to summarize some of the points here for fellow travellers. We stayed in adriatic which has the most amazing view of the whole valley. It had all the modern necessities that a couple could have looked for including a very functioning kitchen set up. The interiors are comfy, cozy & cute. Little touches by Sam like the small lion soft toy made the whole living experience personal. feels like your own home. There were frequent bells on our door and we were treated with local cakes, pastries, fruits & breads almost on daily basis by Sam. The valley which by the way belongs to sam & rich and is part of QBV is an amazing and tranquil place to roam around and lose yourself. This is the place where you sit for hours reading a book and enjoying the nature. The orange, plum, pear trees are available anytime to eat the fruits whenever you want. Scrabble and bingo are a delight to hang out with. We love dogs so of course we spent more than an hour with them. It is a great place to explore Obidos castle, buddha eden garden, sao mortinho do porto beach, praia do foz do arelho, praia do bom successo Its an amazing place to live with all modern conveniences - definitely try it and I am sure you will keep going back.

Beautiful place, full of nice a precise details, but I was surprised most of all by hospitality. Owners of the place are not just nice and polite, they are helpful and kind. We felt like on vacation in grandmothers house. Best choice close to Obidos!

We absolutely loved our stay at Quinta do Bom Vento! Sam and Rich are expert in all things hospitality and their talents sparkled in welcoming us for our honeymoon. From the first contact via email to our final send off (Thanks for the delicious homemade ice cream!) and everything in between, our experience with them was fantastic. We stayed for 6 days in the Mediterranean suite and wished we could have stayed longer. The suite was spotless, neatly decorated, fully equipped for cooking (grill included!) private but not isolated and was perfect for a quiet country getaway. We highly recommend a stay with Sam and Rich at Quinta do Bom Vento and can't wait to return to stay with them again.
