Franciane Vollaud: Merveilleux toutes ces céramiques bleues, qui ont été peint à la main. C'est très rare de visiter un lieu comme ça. Nous avons été conseillés par l'Office de tourisme. Merci à cette dame qui parle très bien le français.

Shari Steele: Our trip to Portugal was made even more perfect because of our Douro Valley tour with Douro Exclusive. We found Douro Exclusive through Trip Advisor and, impressed with the ratings, booked a wine tour of the Douro valley with them. I had email communication with Ana, the owner and Douro Valley native, who emailed me prior to the trip to confirm and then again the day before the tour as a reminder. Ana picked up our group of four (two couples) in a spacious Mercedes van and we were joined by another couple. During the 1 ½ hour van ride to the valley, Ana shared tons of interesting historical and factual information with us about the valley, the wines, and answered all of our questions about the country and culture. She was a great storyteller and engaged the entire group. Our first stop was a boat tour up the river with fantastic views. We then headed to a winery where port is made the traditional way, with the grapes being stomped by foot. The wine tasting, accompanied by nuts and cheese was amazing and she shared a special port with us, after the main tasting. Next, we went to lunch at a hip restaurant (DOC) and had an unbelievable gourmet meal along the river – the food rivaled anything we have eaten at top restaurants in NYC and the service was probably the best I've experienced! We sat at lunch, relaxing and chatting for an hour and half, never feeling rushed. Last, we went to another traditional winery where we sat with the owner and learned about his wines in a charming setting. While the wines at this winery were very dry, and not exactly my cup of tea, the owner was very gracious and accommodating and poured me extra Port which I enjoyed. The day was spectacular and the personalized service and information Ana provided were second to none. I would absolutely recommend booking this tour to enhance your trip to Portugal!

Eu odeio o labirinto doméstico. Eles continuam a mudar as lojas, têm menos pessoal do que antes para ajudar você a encontrar itens ou procurar estoque de volta. Esta foi a pior loja para deixar equipamentos na ilha. (Veja fotos desta loja neste dia) Não conseguia mover um carrinho de madeira, e o carrinho normal era igualmente mau. Pare de colocar produtos de putt no caminho também.

Pobre atendimento ao cliente nunca fui tratado da forma como eu era todas as raparigas têm problemas de atitude perguntei onde ficava a casa de banho e acho que isso me considerou sombrio quando saí da casa de banho, um rufião de cabelo ruivo perguntou-me o que tinha na minha mala e foi como se não parecesse nada e ela ficou chateada porque estava enganada começou a insultar-me para sair da loja então a sua desculpa patética para namorado estava a rir-se quando saí da loja.Agora sou gerente de um bar muito movimentado na cidade, se aqueles fossem meus empregados seriam demitidos no local, você não expulsa alguém porque você não gosta do jeito que eles parecem que para mim é discriminação.
