Mareta is nicer than the photos show. We were pleasantly surprised. Very cosy, charming ambience; comfortable large beds. Right off the Mareta beach and close to nice restaurants. Very nice and helpful staff. Rent bicycles from the inn to explore the area, the best way to see the area. I wish we had stayed in Sagres longer, the travel books didnt do the area or town justice.

Cute little hotel with a pool overlooking the beach. We were here during off season so it was very quiet and had time at the pool by ourselves. The beds are very comfortable and service was great. Even better was that breakfast was included!

What a lovely part of the world! The Mareta Beach Guest House was lovely, too, with gardens, an infinity pool and beautiful views, only steps from the beach.

Very nice place to stay, the room was super nice and clean. Amazing view from the room, eventhough our room was located next to the parking area it was very quiet and we could sleep without any noise. In the morning we could see the sunrise from our bed. It doesn’t get any better than that.Absolutely amazing.

Lovely sea view room with huge balcony . The infinity pool is gorgeous and a great place to spend time.

Booked this last minute as we wanted to visit Sagres.We had an amazing time, pool was great, not too crowded, the poolside bar was well appointed and provided a great insight as to the local area.Only suggestion for improvement would be the breakfast as it’s done in the basement.The coffee shop outside is awesome and I would have rather saved the breakfast fee and eaten there.The staff were very friendly and helped retrieve my wallet that I had left at the service station en route.Overall an excellent stay and would happily recommend.

Endroit fantastique, cet hotel est vraiment bien situé, confortable et pratique. La piscine y est chauffée ce qui a fait le bonheur de mon fils et la vue qui si trouve le bonheur de ma femme. On a prit un forfait avec petit déjeuner seul bémol il n'y a pas d'oeuf le matin. Pour nous c'était plus difficile de démarrer avec un petit déjeuner soutenu.

On arriving the man at reception was not welcoming , I was kept waiting a longtime while he made a phone call. I had asked him if someone would help me with my bags as the room they had allocated me was not in the main building and there was no lift to the first floor. He eventually took my case & on pushing the door open with his foot he let it close in my face.My first night was a disaster, I awoke at 4.00 am with a sore throat, headache & feeling nauseous. The bathroom was smelling dreadful of sewage/drains. I had to put the air conditioning on to try and circulate some air. I didn’t go to the reception at that time because I didn’t want to walk outside to get to the main building at that time of the morning. The following morning I complained and asked to be moved for my additional two nights. A charming receptionist was very helpful & I was given another room later that day. I asked her to tell the manager/owner that I wouldn’t expect to be charged the full rate for a room in that dreadful condition.On checking out I asked if My card had been credited. The receptionist said she had told Flavia Graca the Owner/manager about my request but was told I had stayed in the room the first night and it had been pre-paid so there would be no refund of any amount. I have stayed in this hotel many times over the last 6 years, sadly they now seem concerned about making money and not giving a service to their clients. I wont be recommended them to friends anymore.

Hemos estado dos días y no han hecho camas, ni cambiado toallas ni repuesto geles.... La habitación bien, decorada con gusto, y el entorno precioso.

Muy tranquilo y perfecta ubicación

We booked the standard room with sea view. As there were too many reservations we got the superior room with sea view. The room was really great and the pool was great as well. The only thing that was not that good was the breakfast. The breakfast is really small and the breakfast room is in the basement of the hotel itself.
