Delicious Chinese food! Super quick and so affordable. We got lured in by a lovely Chinese man standing on the strip. We have been 3 times in 3 weeks and will be back once more before we head home next week. It's a must try if you love Chinese food and good value!

Pulled into this place while walking down the strip and we couldn't fault it. Service was very attentive, food comes out quick and everything we ordered was some of the best Chinese we have eaten, Mongolian beef was rich and juicey. Sweet sour chicken was rich and thick. Price was very reasonable and serving size is shown in picture

Really good food at affordable prices, nice atmosphere too. Vegan and veggie options are a bit limited. Otherwise would recommend.

Probably one of the best Chinese meals we have ever had. Fantastic food and service. It is popular though, and fills up pretty quickly.
Maps says it opens at 1830, but we have been twice at just after 1800 and they were happy to serve us, and there were other people already eating.

It was closed sadly. Last visited here 20 years ago and we have always rated it as the best Chinese restaurant ever. So we were absolutely gutted that it was CLOSED!!

Welcomed by a very friendly man, who appeared as we turned the corner. The food was very good, with a very good service. Portions were huge but we managed them, with a squeeze . I would highly recommend commend this Restaurant.

Just to let everyone know that golden garden chinese is by far the best Chinese restaurant in albeferia.The food was top notch staff were friendly and restaurant clean and tidy give it a try as you won't be disappointed and excellent value for money.

Away with the boyfriend for a few days and we ate here and it was honestly so nice, and the staff are very friendly too! Will definetly be back next year

Great service and really friendly staff. Find fantastic. Fifth time we've been to albufeira and they have always served excellent food. Would highly recommend the golden garden to everyone visiting

Had to ask three times for bowls, chopsticks, and chilli oil, we still didn't get any chilli oil. The pancakes served with the Peking Duck were far too thin, the Hoi sin sauce had been waterer down, and the spring onion and cucumber were dried out.
How anyone used to eating good Chinese food can give this place five stars is beyond me.

Excelente ambiente e staff, a comida é bastante saborosa. Vale a pena experimentar. Só abre de noite mas é uma espera que compensa. O ambiente é muito agradável.

We had the set menu 3 course for 2 for 29.80.The portion sizes are massive the duck starter almost left us full.Great value for money, really clean and the staff are super friendly.

Food was fantastic, we had a share platter for 2 people so much food, would easily feed 3 people. Lovely friendly staff and very busy too. Well worth a visit.

Whilst this restaurant looks great and has a large menu, the service is absolutely appalling! We were seated quickly but waited 30 minutes, and no one came to take our order. We tried to flag down a waiter but each time they'd hastily say "just a second" and would never even acknowledge us or ask what we wanted to drink! The diners at tables nearby didn't have their food either and were sitting before we arrived. We eventually left and dined at a smaller but much better chinese restaurant nearby. Do not bother eating at this place,

Fairly good as Chinese food is not great here in Portugal,this however is slightly better than most you'll visit here!!!!

Wonderful food served fast for a group 13 i was surprised was the value for my meal which was sizzling chicken Mongolian Style. Delicious. :)

Food was a bit greasy sadly. Tasted OK but not as good as it was last year when I tried it.
It was pretty fast to cook. Wouldn't go back again, will be trying a new place next time

Went to this restaurant July 2019 and has to be without a doubt the worst restaurant I have ever been in. The food was just awful but worst of all was the service. Poor service and extremely rude waiting staff.. stay away

Beautiful restaurant and very friendly and attentive service. The food was gross though. Absolutely drenched in grease and the vegetables were so over cooked. If you’re looking for a dirty euro-Asian takeaway then you’ve found it... but if you’re more into healthy Asian street food then this is not the place for you

O restaurante é agradável, com uma óptima esplanada para as noites quentes, preços razoáveis e boa comida. O arroz xau xau é uma desilusão, visto que é uma receita apenas para agradar os ingleses (somente arroz branco e ovo mexido).

Lots of choices on the menu with the option of set menus and sharing platters if you're indecisive!
Everything we ate was delicious, great value for money, and service was quick too.
Starters could've been a little bigger, but the mains made up for it.
Would recommend for cheap and cheerful Chinese food. It's no wonder this place has been on the Strip for so many years!

We went there yesterday based on the reviews we've read. However we were utterly disappointed. My friend, who usually eats very salty, barely ate half of her food, as it was way too salty, even for her taste! Both of our main meals were so so so oily, it was basically oil and some of what we have actually ordered. And they must have had onions going bad or something as both of our meals had so much onion, it was ridiculous. We wouldn't go back there!

Amazing starters that were brought to our table soon after ordering. The main courses left much to be desired. A similar quality dinner for lower price can be found at any local takeaway. The great setting, service and staff were the high points of our visit.

Good value for money. A bit off street to the left as you go into the strip of entertainment. The waiter Bing did an excellent job in serving, very professional and knowledgeble. The restaurant showed the soccer match, so the fans wouldnt miss it and the rest of us could enjoy a good meal, without the noise and alchohol haze.

Food was bland the spring rolls were like sausage rolls and for the main I had the sizzling beef in Cantonese sauce which was super bland I was so disappointed as I was really looking foward too this chinese due too the recommendations on trip advisor but it was a big let down and all I got at the end if it was a plastic bracelet too apologise for the bad food!!

Couldnt fault it, this was the best meal i had whilst on holiday. You would usually get people trying to drag you in to an empty place thats empty gor a reason, this place was packed and the food was hot and ready in a short period of time. Thank you, will be returning in the future

This place is bang for your buck, we tried 2 Chinese restaurants both being cheap but this one was delicious and they give huge portions. We spent €43 for 2 adults and 2 kids drinks included and couldn't finish so my advice would be ask about portion sizes but the food was beautiful. And the old Chinese man who welcomed us in and seated us was so accommodating to our young kids he came back with lollipops for them.

Fantastic tasty food. Only went there to keep the daughter happy but very glad I did . Food was better than back home. Good selection and very tasty. The Chinese guy on the strip trying to get you in to the restaurant is very funny. You will be laughing at him all night. All he does is bow and give you the thumbs up

Tremendous value. Staff are very friendly especially the man who greets along the street. I would recommend the set menu. We had the set menu for 2 and the crispy duck was excellent. Add to that 2 beers and 2 soft drinks for less than €40. The only gripe is that service can be slow as the restaurant is always full. Would definitely go again.
