Great place to stay, for a few nights or a few weeks. Great breakfast selection of Breads, Cheeses, Meats, Fruit, Very warm and welcoming people. Beautiful pool and a residents kitchen if you want to prepare meals yourself rather than eat out. Pleasant walk down to Burgau village with lots of restaurants.

An incredible and luxurious peace of heaven on earth. You will not find as high standards in most places as you will here. Stunning accommodation, beautifully friendly host who always go the extra mile. Super clean, private and spectacular. 10-15 minute walk to the stunning Burgau beach with restaurants, bars and shops. Don't think about it, just go!

I've known Sally since we were both teenagers growing up in Surrey. We lost contact and met up again a few years back. My family & I stayed at Salsalito a while ago ....... and what a gem she's created from scratch. A beautiful pool for you surrounded by a large patio area to sunbathe on or shady spots to relax in. Sally is the perfect hostess who, with her local knowledge and close local friends will advise you on things to do and where to visit. The bar is so well stocked it puts The Ritz to shame. your own home from home in Portugal.

Salsalito is a hidden Jewel , it oozes tranquility , if you want total peace and relaxation this is the place to go , Sally & Ralph are the perfect hosts , Sally is a wealth of knowledge about the surrounding area and we love to listen to her wonderful stories, we have been many times and can’t wait for October ❤️
