Despite some of the negative reviews we tried this Indian restaurant. The staff was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Let me caveat this review by saying that while we enjoy Indian very much food, we are not used to hot spicy food, and we prefer mild instead of hot for a spice level. The staff spoke English and asked us how we'd like our dishes, which level of spice, and they did not disappoint. The food was not too spicy, but was perfect for our taste, exactly as we requested. We tried 5 dishes in total, two starters, naan and rice, all were very good and delicious. We asked if the dishes also include rice, but they do not come with any rice, you have to order it as a side if that's how you enjoy your Indian food. We normally place rice down, then the entree on top of the rice to soak up the sauce. For 5 people, we ordered two rice side dishes to share. The rice was very well seasoned and tasted super delicious. Upon service, the first impression was that the serving size is small for the entree and expense, as it arrives in a small bowl with a candle underneath to keep it warm. It was however more than enough food for dinner. It left all of us very satisfied and full. It was the right portion size to not over eat, but also not to leave still hungry or leave food behind or have to take it with. We ordered three naan to be split for 5 people, and we struggled to finish all the food without over eating, or leaving food behind. The restaurant was very clean, including the bathroom. The service and food arrived quickly and hot. They have a take-away menu as well, and when we arrived, someone was ordering for take-away. They don't take credit cards, so make sure you bring cash.

Best restaurant in Burgau bar none. We were told to avoid it and they couldn't have been more wrong. High quality food

Had the vegetable korma, rice and naan - sadly it tasted cheap and unflavored. After lots of great Indian places on the Algarve this is the first place to disappoint. I don't agree with all the other ratings, maybe the owner has changed?

No conozco mucho de esta comida, pero todo estaba riquísimo. El camarero que nos atendió muy amable. Cenamos en el pequeño balcón de la entrada muy bien. Repetiremos

Déco pas top mais l'essentiel est dehors, le village est joli. En tous cas, ils font les meilleurs Naan au fromage du monde :)!

Sehr lecker! Bestes indisches Restaurant in dem wir bisher waren. Alles super lecker und frisch. Personal ist sehr freundlich. Sehr sehr sehr zum empfehlen. In 6 Tagen waren wir 3 mal dort essen. Daran werden wir uns sehr gerne zurück erinnern.

Essen war außerordentlich lecker! Der Service war aber extrem langsam und etwas unfähig.

Sehr gutes indisches Essen. Portionen sind groß und der Geschmack auch sehr gut. Klar gibt es bessere indische Restaurants, aber für einen Portugal Urlaub eine willkommene und köstliche Abwechslung.

Leider enttäuschend: Nach mehr als einer Stunde Wartezeit kam die falsche Bestellung, das schließlich doch richtig gebrachte Essen war geschmacklich in Ordnung, das Hähnchen aber leider hart und der Salat kam gar nicht

Food is good, lighting in the place could be much improved and they could get rid of the TV, and play some nice indian flavoured chill out music instead, wine prices are ridiculous. Service is very good. I would go back but just for the food. Place has a great potential, looking forward seeing it next year maybe
