This is a great hotel with great facilities, great staff in a great location.BUT if you want a good nights sleep make sure your room is above the 4th floor.If not, Lizzys Bar will keep you awake until 6am.Loads on Trip Advisor about this.If drunk golfers screaming Sweet Caroline all night is for you, stay here.

Apartment was clean and spacious. The location is minutes from the heart of Vilamoura with a huge selection of classy places to eat and get in a few drinks. Would book again.

Great location, everything on the dootstep (bars and restaurants), really spacious rooms and hotel was really clean and tidy. The pool area was also really well maintained. Would recommend staying here

The apartment was huge. Could have been made into 3 bedrooms! Good view out the back which was obviously cheaper than a marina view at the front. As soon as you walk out of the front doors there are bars and cafes. Only 5 mins walk from the marina. Loads of parking around the block.

Le sue 4 stelle sono dovute alla piscina e ai campi da gioco, come camere un 3 stelle non ha nulla da invidiargli, certi pezzi di intonaco sono staccati e la doccia era piena di calcare. In ogni caso reception molto cortese e la colazione offre un buffet molto ricco. È in una bella zona se si vuole fare una passeggiata alla sera.

I have seen reviews about the noise in this hotel at night from downstairs bars. I had no experience of this at all as we requested a pool facing view following advice from another review. Rooms were huge and household staff cleaned the room everyday and were very friendly. In general the rooms were well maintained but perhaps kitchen presses could do with updating and maybe bathroom but overall it was a lovely apartment. Breakfast was ok, pretty basic and not something i eat every morning, very repetitive. My main fault is the pool area which is not really the hotels fault. Sunbeds were new and well maintained and pool was clean. However if you are a sunbather you may be disappointed as by 4pm or even earlier there was no sun on the pool and you had to chase the sun onto the grass, getting closer and closer to the wall. By 5.30pm the sun was completely gone! There was a tennis court that i never saw being used and if the hotel converted that for sun beds you'd get at least another hour of sun!

apartamento espaçoso mas muito degradado( wc /camas muito desconfortáveis)... limpeza muito fraca...pequeno almoço, sala muito pequena para quantidade de hóspedes, muito pobre ao nivel de variedade, fruta 80% é de conserva :((( ponto positivo localização. relação preço qualidade muito má.

Boa relação preço qualidade. A net não funcionava no meu telemóvel e ninguém conseguiu resolver o problema. O pequeno almoço não é de hotel 4 estrelas. Os sumos são muito maus e o café sofrível.

Falta de vidros duplos ou melhor insonorização nos apartamentos, falta um espaço MUITO maior de pequeno almoço, os sumos do pequeno almoço são intragáveis, deviam apostar em ter menos quantidade de sabores porém uma melhor qualidade nos mesmos. De resto nada a apontar.

Efficient and helpful staff. Huge apartments. Towels changed daily as standard. Breakfast is an absolute dream, so half board is a must. Very relaxing at pool, not too crowded.

Ao fazer a reserva, os hóspedes deveriam ser informados que a piscina encontra se em manutenção. Assim, como toda a zona envolvente, está fechada e sem espreguiçadeiras. Com um tempo excelente de praia e piscina, não pude usufruir.
Limpeza a melhorar em muito, pois participei na recepção e apenas pediram desculpa e disseram que acontece . Acontece ter pelos púbicos colados na porta da casa de banho. Pois não me parece!
Pequeno almoço fraco.
E como se não bastasse, ao abrir a porta da varanda com o vento uma das chapas da casa de banho voou , ou seja, foi um estrondo e susto!
Ainda assim poderiam no mínimo ter oferecido o update para um quarto com vista marina. Teria ficado bem ao hotel, mas nem essa atenção tiveram! Não porque precise, mas teria sido simpático.
A mais valia deste hotel o qual me faz alojar é a dimensão dos quartos e a vista sobre a marina. O amanhecer e entardecer são mágicos, mas desta vez não chega. Este comentário é para ajudar a melhorar!

Very spacious apartment. 6th floor with pool view had a bit of a view to the sea. Lots of sunshine on the large balcony in the morning. Bathrooms are a bit dated.

Acceptable place, 3 stars over all.. some apartments ,owners do not approve to use the dishwasher so they unplag it!! Didn’t like much their service, medium comfy beds , pillows not nice ..Big pool but couple of summers back, it turned green and they had to close it for a couple of days !!!!
I hope they improved it by now ..
Be careful with kids , big balconies and high floors .. breakfast ok .

Bit shabby this time of year, mid November, but staff friendly and efficient, maid comes every day to clean, make beds and change towels. Self catering ut we could have had breakfast for £7, but have it on the marina for €4!

Staff toppppp excessionais .. localização excelente, bom pequeno almoço. Habitação enorme apenas a precisar de algumas obras de restauro no duche. Tirar a banheira e colocar base de chuveiro. Aconselho vivamente. Refeições baratas no bar Spot á saída do hotel, também com muita qualidade. Parabéns ao grupo Luna e staff do melhor que já vi em simpatia e dedicação. Obrigado.

Dated , noisy , definitely not as explained on the web site wide angle lenses make the pool look huge in reality tiny , no iron in room as stated , lights not working the list goes on don't use this hotel

A internet foi perfeita sem o mínimo problema, as piscinas super agradáveis. Não houveram absolutamente problemas nenhuns e toda a gente foi super simpática. A única coisa de que não gostei foi ter de descer até ao parque de estacionamento e sair para a rua para poder deitar o lixo fora, já que não gostam de que se passe com sacos de lixo na entrada do hotel. Compreensível, mas ainda assim acho que podem resolver o problema de outra forma, como caixotes do lixo em cada andar para se meter o lixo e ao fim de cada dia alguém recolher o lixo e deitar fora. Compreendo que é mais trabalho para o hotel mas é ofensivo ter de ter todo esse trabalho para deitar o lixo fora só para não afetar a imagem do hotel.

We had a very pleasing stay at the Luna Olympus for a week. Our room was ready on our arrival which was a bonus. Check in was quick but very little information was given about the facilities, i.e. breakfast availability. The one bedroom apartment was on the 2nd floor overlooking the pool and was very spacious and well equipped with a large tv. Kitchen and bathroom starting to look a bit tired but acceptable and clean. The main beds were extremely comfortable - best sleep ever in an apartment in Portugal or Spain!! The maid called everyday and did what was required.Would definitely recommend and visit again.

É um apartahotel com acabamentos já antigos, mas já sofreu uma remodelação recente. Não tem detergente nem artigos para lavar loiça, não tem máquina de lavar loiça, o frigo é bastante pequeno e tem microondas. Fica mm ao lado de uma pastelaria muito boa (descer a rua em direcção à praia). Temos acesso à piscina interior do oura hotel mas o acesso é pelo exterior. O staff é muito simpático. Costumo ir no inverno e por isso não há muita gente nem muitas actividades. Ah tb fica ao lado de uma gelataria nova muito boa e que abre no inverno (na rua principal).

Loved the location of the property, one row back from the marina. The size of the apartment was excellent, Bars restaurants and a couple grocery stores with in walking distance. We read the reviews about the noise, but we didnt hear much noise and slept very well. We loved the pool and they even had a little bar. We didnt try the breakfast as we ate just outside the hotel at Spots and Lizzys.

Lovely hotel extremely helpful staff asked for a room on high floor and got a room on floor 8 with a wonderful view of the marina
Only had small glasses in cupboard asked for 2 tall glasses and within 5 minutes they arrived at my door same when I asked for an iron
Breakfast was lovely with both hot and cold choices including 6 choices of cereal
Nice garden area with plenty of sunbeds (free of charge)
Restaurant area nice and bright, only open for breakfast 7.00 - 10.00am
Room has everything you need, shower and bath could do with upgrading but was sufficient.
Overall happy with the facilities
Location excellent within a 5 minutes walk of marina and all the bars and restaurants
Old Navy worth a visit excellent food
19th Hole also worth a visit with live music

Hotel antiquado para os dias de hoje, problemas na manutenção, uma garagem privada que mais parece um armazém de coisas velhas. O serviço de pequeno almoço também deixa a desejar. A água, por exemplo, colocada nas máquinas de sumo, sabe a... sumo.
Também não se compreende a ausência de vidros duplos numa zona movimentada e cheia de vida nocturna.
A localização é boa mas para um 4* merecia mais cuidado...

hôtel hyper bien situé pour tout, marina ,plage,resto, casino ,bar, petit centre commercial , hôtel très propre et le plus, de grands appartements et dimmenses balcons ne ratez pas le marché le samedi matin à OLHAO qui se trouve à 15kms de vilamoura vous y découvrirez des merveilles de la nature et OLHAO est une petite ville très typique représentant bien le portugal cest magnifique une vrai carte postale

Luna Olympus Hotel offers great value for money . The bedroom, the bathroom and the kitchen diner were all spotlessly clean and there was everything you could need. We requested a room near the top floor due to the noise from the bars on the ground floor, sometimes it was going on until the early hours .

Horrible hotel.
I had a leak in the bathroom and when we reported it the still didnt fix it.
Had to stay there for 10days like this.
Would not recommend at all.

As stated in many reviews, lovely size rooms and HUGE balcony, staff/cleaners always friendly and helpful. One thing I would say, and it's not the hotel's fault...is if you want ANY SLEEP at all..stay a little further from the Marina ! Brilliant for proximity, horrendous if you need any sleep. We stayed on the EIGHTH FLOOR ! And were kept awake between 2.30 am until around 5.30 to 6 am nearly every night for a week by the racket from below.....you have been warned !

The Luna OlympusHotel is ideally located..Would suggest requesting a room on a floor other than 1st as there are latebars near by.Plenty of nice restaurants e.g. Old Victoria,Don Alphonsus,The Mayflower,O Colonial. Great music and atmosphere in OSheas and ONeills bars but get there before10pm to get a seat.For the ladies you will get the best hair wash and blow dry ever at Cabeleireiros salon beside the Vila Gale Amphalius Hotel.

Rooms are huge/very spacious. However things such as glasses, plates etc are very few and small. Without exaggerating much, they contain just over a mouthful, meaning having any meaningful drink is near impossible without filling the glass 3/4 times. Beds aren't the best, somewhat uncomfortable but able to be dealt with.

Jeune famille avec 2 enfants de 9 et 12 ans, nous avons trouvé cet endroit sur internet car nous cherchions un endroit bien placé (vue sur la marina) équipé dune cuisinette pour préparer quelques repas et surtout nous reposer. Emplacement impeccable mais nous nous sommes apercus que la vie nocturne nest pas de tout repos : durant toute la nuit, les saoulons qui hurlent sont très fréquents (les bars sont partout, ils ferment a 6 heure du matin) et il manquait plein de petites choses : pas de liquide vaisselle, deponge pour laver la vaisselle, pas de four (seul un micro ondes + 2 plaques etaient disponibles), pas de lave-vaisselle ni de lave-linge. Nous avons eu durant notre sejour de pres de 5 semaines, 4 ou 5 fois des problemes de robinetterie dans levier de la cuisine. Piscines non chauffees, terrain de tennis non entretenu et payant... Bref, lendroit est extraordinaire mais le quotidien pourrait etre amelioré. Buffet offert le matin mais les produits sont toujours les memes et la qualité pourrait etre revue à la hausse.

Had a terrible stay on the 5th floor. Hotel is more like a hostel than a 4 star hotel. The reception had been refurbished and looks great but the rooms are from the 70s. Situated in a seedy part of town directly over bars that stay open until 7am. Did not sleep either night we were there. Kind of place to have a stag party. Horrible experience. Couple in 30s.

The location is perfect, it's only a very short walk to the Marina and local supermarket. Free breakfast is good with a wide choice of food, the only negative being the watered down juices instead of fresh orange etc.
The rooms are large and bright but a bit dated especially the bathroom which needs to be updated.
Our room was on the fourth floor and we had no problems with noise but if you were staying in one of the rooms on the first floor noise would probably be an issue.

El hotel está encima de una zona comercial y de bares, por lo que las primeras plantas son bastante ruidosas, para alojarse en pleno centro de vilamoura es perfecto, pero no para descansar y estar tranquilo. Las instalaciones están ligeramente anticuadas.

We found the reception staff to be unwelcoming and unhelpful although they did improve. We were surprised that there was nothing provided to wash dishes even though there was a kitchen in the unit and when we enquired were told we would have to provide it ourselves. We found the breakfast to be very good and enjoyed the pool area

Location in Vilamoura is excellent.Booking -in - very efficient and helpful at reception.Stayed on the 6th Floor facing overlooking some apartments with a fabulous view of the Marina. The first impression of the room was that it was more spacious than what we expected. It had a seprate bedroom with twin beds(as requested) with plenty of space to put your clothes,hangers,a safe( €10 for week plus €10 deposit-returned on booking out).There was a ironing board with iron at reception.Double divan/couch in sitting room area etc. Kitchen equipment Microwave,kettle,toaster,fridge/freezer,plenty of utensils bathroom bath,shower,bidet,hairdryer at reception. Breakfastwas well serviced and staff extremely helpful and chatty. Quality of food - standard,coffee machine standard,tea bags variety of herbal,normal etc.(until 10am). Bar area small ,did not use same -closes early. Bar,cafes on lower floor. The front rooms of hotel did have some noise issues with the back(pool facing) rooms quieter.Pool not very big and childrens pool slightly apart- with children needing parents supervision. The room was extremely clean(one of the best experience) cleaned every day withtowels etc also changed. The overall experience of the hotelwas good ,possibly not 4* standard/decor/facilities.

Lovely spacious Apartment with large balcony, clean and very comfortable, including a proper cot & mattress for our baby. Staff very helpful. The marina is a 2 minute walk from the hotel so the restaurants, shops etc are all nearby.

The hotel has it all bar the staff.... great location, great rooms and pool but the staff I found to be unhelpful, rude and not wanting to communicate with anyone unless you had Portuguese. We had a party of nearly 15 roons booked out and all found the same with the staff. In order to get any info eg breakfast times you had to ask as you werent told.

Lizzy's Bar has acoustic glass doors so the noise never comes out from the bar. Unfortunately it is situated right in the middle of others business without worries about noise issues!
