La coquille est séduisante mais il y a des détails qui énervent. Pas de verre à dents, pas de tapis de bains, on est obligés d'utiliser une serviette à mains à peine plus grande que ses deux pieds, peu de produits de toilettes et rien pour les poser dans la douche. Ça fait beaucoup pour commencer la journée. Sinon les chambres sont spacieuses et joliement décorées avec soin et bon goût. Dommage, le rapport qualité prix n'est pas au rendez vous.

An der Rezeption hätten wir mehr Infos und Freundlichkeit erwartet - ansonsten ist es ein schönes zentral gelegenes Hotel für eine Stadtbesichtigung.

A casa é muito confortável, cada canto possui um detalhe que parece ter sido minimamente pensado. O interior é algo que supera as expectativas. O pequeno almoço é incrível e a staff que o serve também. A casa possui piscina, sauna e jacuzzi o que faz você querer passar bastante tempo dentro dela. A prova de vinhos do Porto também merece elogios, principalmente pela hospitalidade do anfitrião. Merecia 6 estrelas.

Just the place to stay in Faro,Lovely staff at every level, a real taste of Portugul, helpful and informative. Location in older part of Faro but not the actual OLD town. Lots of bars and Resturants within 200 yards. Harbour and old town only 800yards away. You just feel part of the culture , which friendly and warm as is the hotel. You will not regret staying here. Praktfullt sted. Alt var førsteklasses: Rom, service, personale, portvinsbar, snookerrom, frokost, hage, osv. Dessuten er Faro et svært behagelig sted å feriere. Dette må du oppleve.

Un séjour extraordinaire avec mon entreprise. Les propriétaires sont d une extrême gentillesse disponibles et accueillants. L hôtel est très conviviale et très beau. Le personnel est disponible souriant j adore cet endroit. J y reviendrait c est sûr. J ai découvert un endroit magnifique et partagé de très bons moments avec les propriétaires. Une très belle rencontre je regrette de devoir partir... leur bonne humeur va me manquer. UN ENORME MERCI!

Really enjoyed it. Courteous, friendly staff, good homemade big breakfast. The pool and tub were too cold for us and the bedroom could have been better. Eg bigger, table on the balcony, enough room in the bedroom for a desk.

Tuvimos que irnos antes de tiempo y prometieron dec volver el dinero y luego de varias excusas ridiculas nunca lo hicieron. No tienen respeto por la palabra empeñad.

This hotel is beyond 5 stars, family boutique offering wine tasting, fado, and other activities. They take time to get to know you, talk with you and really take good care of you. Rooms are immaculate and royal. The impression I got staying here was similar to a Japanese Ryokan just... Portuguese... The food is great, breakfast service is brilliant, you really feel the heat of Portugal here. I'm definitely going back some day.

Beautifully restored building and rooms plus the staffs are so welcoming! It felt really personal as well. Location is super convenient to the train and bus station, actually pretty much to get anywhere. I'd stay longer if I could :) Thank you for making our stay enjoyable.

Mycket trevligt, mysigt pch välvårdat hotell centralt men lite vid sidan. Tyst och lugnt. Trevlig personal. Fantastisk frukost (men med lite väl mycket "sötsaker") Pool, ej uppvärmd, jacuzzi och bastu. Bjöds på lite vinprovning (port) efter incheckning.

Fantastic place to make your base while exploring Faro and the Algarve. Service was terrific and breakfasts were perfect to start a long day. Large comfortable rooms. Felt like we had a true home away from home for our stay. Obrigado!

Nous avons séjourné un week end dans cet établissement. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Le personnel est très agréable, aux petits soins, (d'ailleurs merci beaucoup pour le petit déjeuner du jour du départ, tout était délicieux ). L'hôtel en lui même est au calme et les chambres et le reste sont soignés et très bien décoré. Bref, nous sommes ravis.

Unbelievable!!! You must stay here. Wonderful staff, fabulous breakfast like none you have ever had, charming bedrooms, and fabulous extras like heated pool, sauna, Porto tasting room, pool room, and several sitting rooms. They are currently 3 houses interconnected but adding a 4th in a month or so. Such a charming place to stay and easy walk to the water center. Perfection

It is the BEST guest house I have stayed in, you feel so welcome and the rooms are amazing the breakfast is fantastic The design/ architecture is jaw dropping I highly recommend Opus one is the place to stay

Love the building and shared spaces. It’s a beautiful little gem in a gorgeous city. The rooms are a bit small and could use more “luxury” (eg non-synthetic pillows, more comfortable bed, more air freshness) but otherwise it is great.

Opus One is a really cute boutique hotel in Faro. It’s within walking distance to old town etc. We were greeted by Diogo, who was super nice and incredibly helpful, giving us lots of ideas for things to do and places to eat (like Taberna Zeze, the best meal we’ve had all month, thanks Diogo!). He was just great. Our room was really cheerful and comfortable. The breakfast was very good, with lots of local pastries and treats available. All around the experience was fantastic, except for one thing: our room was not cleaned by 3:30 p.m the second day we stayed here, no one ever came. Also we had no shampoo in the bathroom and had to request it twice. So attending to little things like restocking and taking care of our room would have earned this place 5 stars. Overall we would absolutely stay here again!

Excellent service from staff. Always willing to help and provide the best service possible. There is no parking on-site, but plenty of free parking close by. Staff again advised where best to park, all within very close walking distance (5 mins max). Excellent property!

What a wonderful property! The location is very convenient and quiet, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are delicious!

Super endroit, magnifique et très bien placé. Hélas nous ne sommes restés quune nuit et le jeune homme qui nous a accueillit devait reserver un taxi pour 7h15 le lendemain pour nous emmener à laeroport et demander quun petit sac avec un sandwich soit pret a la place du petit dejeuner qui nétait pas disponible à cette heure là.....à notre réveil le cuisinier netait pas informé et rien netait préparé et le taxi narrivait jamais...heureusement une dame qui arrivait pour son service a lhotel nous a commandé un taxi mais nous avons ete pas loin de rater notre avion!!! Si ce nest ca tout etait super

Nur 5 min zu Fuß vom Zug und vom Busbahnhof entfernt (Flughafen Terminal Rodoviario: Proximo Bus Nr.16 unter €2,50). Der schöne historische Altstadtkern ist auch leicht und schnell zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Team ist unglaublich freundlich, Kundenorientiert, trotzdem locker, so wie man es sich im Urlaub wünscht. Frühstück war lecker, sehr gutes Service. An manchen Tagen werden Fado-Abende oder Portwein-Verkostungen und dergleichen veranstaltet. Trotz kleiner Mängel beim Zustandes des Badezimmer und bei der Sauberkeit, würde ich nochmal her kommen. Ich habe es sogar bereut, dass wir nur eine Nacht hier verbracht haben, würde min 2 Nächte für Faro empfehlen.

These guys are such amazing people! They have something special in many different ways and a modern romantic luxurious and detailed place. The breakfast was outstanding and the atmosphere was amazing. A Fado Singer was booked and we were just amazed how he had created an atmosphere that was just relieving and typically portuegese fado feeling on our last night. We stayed for two days.Thank's again for the beautiful and special time you guys gave us :) we definately will come back. Bejino Best kisses C & R

The property is in a quiet residential area but close walking distance to the town centre. It’s beautifully presented with incredible facilities such as pool, spa and snooker table. There are communal lounge and dining areas, and the hosts were very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately there were no staff present when we arrived so we had to wait outside for 15 minutes. When the owner arrived she went out of her way to apologise and arranged free drinks while we were checked in, so I feel this was just an unavoidable mistake and not a regular problem.Our room was clean, well presented and had a small balcony overlooking the pool and spa area. At the end of our stay we arranged another booking for the end of our holiday as we were so happy with everything.

Staying at The Opus was an outstanding experience which elevated the word ‘boutique’. Ideally located a few minutes walk from the centre of Faro with its wide selection of shops and restaurants, it provides an excellent level of customer care and attention to detail. The small team of staff are friendly and eager to be of service and the tapas breakfast was one of the best I have experienced. Homemade granola, pasties and a selection of local meats and cheeses all prepared individually for guests were delicious. The room was quiet and comfortable, very clean and well maintained. Two additional services are worth mentioning. First, they regularly hold evenings of traditional Portuguese music which are popular with guests and locals alike. Secondly, they offer private tours in a people carrier which can take you to local markets and towns. This is excellent value for money, as well as offering experiences that might otherwise be missed. While I was staying there, the Opus won an international award for being the best guest house. An award in my view richly deserved.

Central location. Beautiful interior and lovely spacious rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff and a calm and pleasant atmosphere. The bar was not staffed full time when we were there as there were not many guests at the pool area, but it is possible to get hold of a staff member either at the reception or around the building if they are showing other guests to their rooms and they are very open to help. We were impressed by the look and feel of the place.

Excelente servicio y trato superior

I loved our short but sweet stay here. The staff were so kind and accommodating. It’s a real family vibe! When we arrived, a live Fado band was playing by the pool which was so special. We also arrived late, around 9:30 - despite missing what looked like an awesome BBQ, we sat down by the pool area and they brought us some free snacks! If we hadn’t had other plans, we would have been more than open to staying another night. Thanks guys for an awesome first stay on our road trip through Portugal! Re: the room - we had a nice room, with a lovely balcony overlooking the pool area and it was pretty cheap for what you get. Everything was clean and good size - what more could you ask for!

Opus One was the best B&B we have ever stayed in. Warm welcome from the owner Joao and his friend Pedro. They were exceptionally warm and helpful. The breakfast was varied and delightful with small changes each day. Jacuzzi was fun.For those who were brought up with Port as a Christmas drink were clearly cheated of tasting the drink at its best, we had an amazing Port and luxury chocolate tasting session with Jaoa who gave an interesting and informative talk on our last evening. We can highly recommend this beautiful and special place to stay in Faro. Thank you Jaoa, Pedro and your lovely staff for making our short stay so memorable. I hope we can return one day. I stayed here with my mum for a few days and it was a truly wonderful bed and breakfast in a fantastic location. The room was just perfect, extremely clean and good value. The breakfasts were delicious, the customer service was great. There was always someone there to help and advise during the day, making sure we made the most of what Faro had to offer. Highly recommend.
