Siendo un sitio familiar y situado en una isla preciosa, la atención al cliente debe mejorar. Los precios son caros para los platos que realmente ofrecen. Pagas más por el sitio que por la comida.

Wonderful cataplana at a reasoneable price considering the quality of the ingredients. Friendly owner and of course fig brandy. Off to the beach to sleep it off. I love this part of the Algarve.

Negócio familiar, com uma excelente cozinha, umas entradas óptimas, boa cataplana de peixe, massa de peixe, ameijoas, ostras, tudo fresco, não estivessemos na Ilha e por fim um maravilhoso leite creme. Preço médio.

Ok. Typical Portuguese 'hospitality'! Nobody talks to you in an empty restaurant...staff annoyed that you seating at a table set up for food but you order coffee and cakes.

Servicio extremadamente lento. 8 minutos esperando que nos tomaran nota, tuvimos que irnos ya que si eso tardan en tomar nota, ni me imagino para traer la comanda, y la mayoría de la gente q visita la isla va con el tiempo justo, en excursiones de barco.

Terrible restaurant: we’ve first heard that we should leave in one hour because they needed our table (after being there for half an hour). We’ve ordered tuna, which was overcooked, with green tomatoes (not ripe). So if you go to Calatra, go to one of the restaurants at the beach, not this one!

Een andere ontdekking Cataplana voor 2 personen aan 30€...om duimen en vingers af te likken. Gepaneerde inktvis en een dubbele tonijnsteak voor minder als 15 €. Ik beveel deze plaats aan iedereen aan!!! DOEN ZOU IK ZEGGEN...

We’ve been traveling to Portugal since years and ate a lot of cataplanas. There were good once and very good once but nothing like this one at A Taska da Culatra.
It was just perfect and much better then everything we had before. It contained just the best seefood, the Atlantic offers and the sauce was sooo incredible delicious and not too oily. It’s definetly a reason to go to Culatra just to have this cataplana.
And to all, the service was very friendly too.
Hope to eat it soon.

Wir haben uns zu siebt durch verschiedene Speisen probiert und es war wirklich alles sehr lecker und frisch. Natürlich mochte der eine das der andere dies lieber, aber das ist ja normal. Portionen hätten vielleicht etwas größer sein können, aber wir hatten auch großen Hunger. English konnte die Bedienung leider nicht wirklich, aber die Mutter und so hat alles gut geklappt.
Würde auf jeden Fall wieder dort essen.

Descontraido, optimo para uma experiencia a dois ou em grupo, e com tempo, degustar as excelentes opçoes apresentadas no Menu, com os sabores locais. Exemplo, Cataplana de Marisco, sem duvida, uma referencia. Boa carta de vinhos. Simpatia do staff, faz-se notar durante a estadia. A revisitar sempre que possivel, mesmo no Inverno.

A Taska is not in Faro it is on Ilha Da Culatra. It specialises in a restaurant menu rather than as a bar-cafe that the villalge has another 6 of. ~Really good food. Caters for parties

The location is nice. What was not acceptable was the food: It was our worst meal in the region of Algarve. I ordered a Tuna steak and asked for it rare (which they confirmed they could do) but they brought Tuna steak that had been slowly cooked through and through. This makes the steak tough and tasteless (very similar to canned Tuna). It is a complete no-no for cooking Tuna this way, and simply any cook would know this. When compared with other restaurants in Faro, which cost exactly the same such as Sao Pedro and Taska do Ricky, the difference in quality is shocking. If I were to return to Culatra, I recommend bringing a good Portuguese ham and cheese and eating it on the beach.
