Das Essen ist hervorragend, die Bedienung aufmerksam und freundlich, die Preise angemessen. Ich werde gerne wieder dort zum Essen gehen, auch wenn das Shabouco nicht auf meinem direkten Weg liegt.

Die Kellner sind zwar freundlich aber nicht besonders aufmerksam. Erst mussten wir lange warten bia die Bestellung aufgenommen wurde, als wir dann fertig waren sind wir 20min vor sen leeren tellern gesessen, bis sie jemand abgeholt hat.
Die Preise sind fur die Qualität des fleischen viel zu hoch. Die Portionen wirken auf den ersten blick sehr groß sind es aber in Wirklichkeit nicht (sehr viel optik-beilage, Salatblätter und karottenschnipsel)
Haben hier in Portugal bereits um die Hälfte des preises doppelte Qualität erhalten.
In der Nähe gibt es aber sonst eben nichts.
Fazit:
Teuer aber nicht gut.

Os horários do restaurante não correspondem aos por eles referidos. Fomos, de propósito e, lá de dentro, disseram-nos que estava fechado. Seria bom que corrigissem o horário.

Hemos estado cenando un par de veces en nuestras vacaciones ya que estamos alojados en las casitas que están al lado y la experiencia ha sido muy positiva,el personal muy amable y atento, la comida deliciosa,el pescado muy fresco y los postres buenisimos,claramente si volvemos por la zona en nuestras vacaciones el restaurante shabouco sera un sitio obligado a visitar.

Das Essen ist schön zubereitet und hat richtig gut geschmeckt. Die Atmosphäre ist angenehm warm und freundlich, so wie die Leute, die dort arbeiten. Alles sehr empfehlenswert. Eine Reservierung sollte man haben.

Das Restaurant Shabouco ist absolut zu empfehlen. Wenn man den Weg hierher gefunden hat, wird man sowohl vom Ambiente, als auch vom Essen nicht enttäuscht. Ob Fisch, Fleisch oder Pasta, alles was wir probiert haben war super lecker. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und sympathisch. Und zum Nachtisch sollte man unbedingt die Tarte de Limaõ

Top Essen, top Service, Preise im oberen Bereich, jedoch normal für die Region. Fisch ist super frisch und wenn man um Salz bittet und Flor de Sal bekommt, ist das schon beeindruckend. Ich hatte Seeteufel am Spieß mit Salat und Süßkartoffeln, alles auf den Punkt zubereitet. Werde wiederkommen und Polvo a Casa nehmen. Bin ein großer Fan vom Wolfsbarsch, den muss man hier zu zweit bestellen, da er wild aus dem Ozean und somit zu groß für einen Genießer ist, keiner aus der Zucht. Man erwartet ein solches Restaurant nicht inmitten von nirgendwo, es liegt zum abgelegenen Strand, der nur über eine Schotterpiste zu erreichen ist.

We have been to Pedro and Maria's Sha Bouco's restaurant many times. We stay at a local surf camp and stop here at times for a sit in the sun, with a bottle of local wine, to chill and just talk.
All very friendly and food is excellent, the lamb tagine looks fabulous, though I've not tried, yet.
Updated review.
We returned 2 days later with 12 others and had a superb night out with great food, that every one commended as exceptional. Lily made our tables very welcome and was very attentive to all. A great place for a meal either as a couple or as a group.
Can't wait to return!

Fish curry was good, but all in all we had a bad experience. First, one of our dishes was sent to a different table, where guests already started eating it and we got the started dish brought to our table after the error was noted. Then the second dish, supposedly a 'pork tenderloin', was pork ribs with a wrong side dish, because the ordered one 'was out'. Seemed like a really good restaurant, but a really bad experience because service was not able to deal with a packed restaurant.

I saw the sign for this restaurant two years ago and swore I would come back! The grilled Tiger Prawns were phenomenal, and the tiny clams were sweet & tasty. Excellent, attentive service, but no one knows how to make a martini near the beach....

Vinho muito bom! Invisível e Conde da Ervideira são muito bem servidos.

Comida simplemente espectacular! Fuimos sin saber muy bien que era y nos llevamos una sorpresa brutal. Pescado a la brasa buenísima, al igual que el resto de platos. No os olvidéis de dejar sitio al postre y de reservar!

Ristorantino isolato. Personale simpatico e cordiale. Ci ho cenato tutte le sere durante il mio soggiorno, che dire, ogni sera un piatto diverso per più persone servito direttamente nel padellone, sempre squisito. Dessert golosissimi! Da provare assolutamente il wreckfish.

Delicious cuisine and truly nice people ! All the fish and shellfish are great choices. The fried octopus is soperb ! Don´t miss the sangria. Even the pizzas are top! Do you know that place where everything you eat or drink you won´t forget...? We will be back !
