Friendly staff, location a bit outside.

A l’écart de tout mais on y mange bien et pour un super rapport qualité / prix.
Désolé pour la photo mais l’agneau au four est tellement bon que les convives ont été plus rapide que moi pour la photo.

Nous avons pris le plat dû jour :potée au choux accompagné de viande de boeuf, boudin noir, chorizo et porc.c'était excellent.

Über den Krimi ‚Lost in Fuseta‘ und den zweiten Teil ‚Spur der Schatten‘ haben wir ein paar Empfehlungen in den Büchern gefunden und uns mal weitere angesehen und sind auf das ‚O Caseiro‘ gekommen. Heute waren wir hier.
Aus Lagos kommend durch Odiaxeixe durch und am 2. Kreisel auf der N125 wenden, weil man sonst nicht auf die M539 links abbiegen darf. Dann geradeaus und vor der Autobahn liegt es dann rechts.
Die Speisekarte ist übersichtlich und klingt lecker.
Vorweg hatten wir Brot, Oliven und Karotten, sowie Käse. Als Hauptgang gab es Lammeintopf und als Nachtisch Puddim Flam und einen Pudding mit Keks und Sahne. (Alles hausgemacht, nicht zugekauft.)
Alles zusammen mit 1,5l Wasser und 1/2l Vinho Verde, sowie 2 Bica unter 40€.
Das Essen war SEHR lecker, die Portionen gut und der Service nett und freundlich.
Gesprochen wird hier portugiesisch und englisch.
Kartenzahlung ist nicht möglich, nur Barzahlung.
Wegen der Mücken ist abends im Hof essen eher schwierig, aber das Restaurant hat locker 60 Plätze.
Wir kommen wieder, garantiert.

A bit of a slow start to get seated and served but the food was beautiful and setting is nice. Reasonable priced and served in good time. All in all a good experience with good food. Will go again.

Local tipo casa de pasto típico, mas apresentando grande humidade interior. Serviço muito pouco simpático, pelo menos do empregado que nos atendeu. Comida caseira bem confeccionada ( cozido de couve ) mas bastante indegesta pelo menos para aqueles mais sensíveis. Apresenta pratos variados mas que não foram provados. Garrafeira muito básica e limitada.

Très bien ! Une très bonne découverte pour ce restaurant perdu un peu au milieu de nul part, une grande salle et une terrasse agréable, une très bonne cuisine maison avec du personnel agréable et le patron qui fait des efforts pour se faire comprendre en Français et tout ça pour des prix abordables.

I grew up in Lagos and come back here so now and then, it's becoming harder and harder to find a place that's cosy, has great authentic food, friendly staff and good prices. O Caseiro is one of them ;) The "Arroz de Marisco" is delicious!

Fantástica comida, casera. Sin demasiado turista, lo que dice mucho del.sitio. lugar algo extraño de encontrar. El.tamaño de los.platos es para pensárselo !!! Delicioso los guisos y el.pescado que pedimos.... Aunque todo lo demás tenía una pinta estupenda !!!

Overheerlijke Portugese gerechten. Laat je niet verleiden door de voorkant van het restaurant. Dit nodigt niet uit maar eenmaal binnen ontwaakt een typisch Portugees restaurant.Service en vriendelijkheid staat op een hoog peil.
