Local agradável sujeito a reserva e a uma carteira recheada embora seja agradável descontraído simpático decoração agradável não diferente do normal mas sui generis gostei da reserva ser numa quinta onde o restaurante se insere a sua tipicidade faz a diferença pois o restaurante tem um poço antigo muito agradável de ver uma lareira muito convidativa ao inverno um menu agradável diferente e super motivador ao apreciador uma carta de vinhos curta mas bem agradável com as experiências gastronómicas acompanha muito bem.atencao ao valor final mas é o valor a pagar num local paradisiaco. conta há antiga portuguesa escrita manualmente o que nos remete para a passado e glamour de outros tempos.

Caro para a qualidade e o que oferece.comida boa mas sem surpreender....pormenores muito bons...mas outros pormenores...completamente opostos...pessoas a manipulando comida sem barrete ou toucas...casa de banho com alguns bons pormenores..na sala olhando para o tecto , os cantos...ve-se a falta de acabamentos...calor de lareira complentamente execivo para a mesa mais proxima...alguns defeitos que devem ser reteficados para que se justefique o preço.

This restaurant is a must if you are on the Lagos/Luz area. Set off the beaten track in a beautiful garden the food and service are impeccable. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the food simply delicious. We were a party of three and had the king prawns (X2) and goats cheese salad as starters and then the rack of lamb, fillet steak and king prawns for mains. The meat was cooked as requested and everything was beautifully presented. We couldn't manage dessert as the portions are very generous but these looked equally delicious! At €40 pp including drinks it was well worth it and if I'm ever in the area again I will definitely be going back! Thank you for a lovely evening.

Other people may have had a good experience here; unfortunately, my family and I did not. We were very disappointed with the quality of the food, especially in comparison to the expense, which was rather high. The portions were enormous, while the quality of the food was rather poor. The pesto pasta was extremely dry, cooked perhaps 2 hours before; the pesto was under-seasoned; and, both the lasagne and aubergine curry were excessively covered in cheese. I would not recommend the food here.
However, service was friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant.

Great restaurant! Hidden gem worth to be discovered! Food is amazing, just watch out for the size of the plates which can be very big.

Wir waren letzten Freitag im Cachoa. Wir sind ohne Reservierung gekommen und hatten Glück das wir noch was bekommen haben. Das Essen ist hervorragend und wir wurden herzlich und zuvorkommend bedient! Ein Abend an den wir gerne zurück denken

Wowser food in cosy setting. Fish soup n pork tenderloin were super tasty n succulent. Very helpful on vegan options. A must visit .....need to book, n cash only....which is pretty old fashioned bur c'est la vie

gehobene gastronomie, sieht nicht nur gut aus, sondern schmeckt auch so!!
obwohl das cachoa etwas versteckt liegt, ist es sehr gut besucht.
um nicht umsonst hin zu fahren, ist es ratsam einen tisch vorzubestellen!

Best restaurant I’ve been in my 2 week’s holidays in the area. Great food, nouvelle cuisine level in a cozy atmosphere. Great service, friendly and informal and always polite. Don’t tell everyone this is the place to go :))

Siamo capitati in questo ristorante per caso dopo una lunga giornata di attività. Nonostante fosse piuttosto tardi, ci hanno servito lo stesso servendoci ottimi piatti e molto abbondanti. Personale professionale e gentilissimo. Consigliato. Prezzi onesti

Definitely the winning restaurant for me in the area. Unassuming and tucked away from the main tourist areas. The food was beautifully presented with some interesting combinations. Despite the upmarket take the portions are huge. There's a good selection of wines to chose from and it's not overpriced. Take cash as they don't accept cards and there are no cash machines in the area.

Leider hat das Lokal durch die viel zu großen Portionen keine Sterne verdient.Qualität sehr gut und Personal freundlich, daher 2 Sterne dafür !!!

Een heel gezellig kader, topchef, vriendelijke bediening en alles heel betaalbaar. Moesten we nog eens in de streek zijn dan gaan we zeker terug. Wel reserveren.

Excellent setting for dinner, well worth a taxi out to this restaurant if you are staying in Lagos or Luz. Great food, large portions and served in a lovely garden area. Superb

Ich war angenehm überrascht als ich das Cachoa betrat, tolles Ambiente, freundliche Bedienung, toller Garten, und das Essen war vorzüglich.
Das Cachoa ist etwas hochpreisig, was allerdings die Qualität rechtfertigt. Das Essen ist schön angerichtet und schmeckte super lecker, auch an Vegetarier wird gedacht.
Ich kann dieses Restaurant sehr empfehlen.

Cachoa is a restaurant for a VERY special occasion and we have visited a few times . We tried to book it by telephone mid July but had no response by telephoning constantly over a period of a week. We then went to the restaurant to book personally and found a padlocked chain across the entrance and the place appeared overgrown and deserted. Very disappointing but we were recommended to O Henriques in Lagos - first class fillet steak and half the price.

This restaurante is a pearl in the neighbourhood of lagos. Great hideaway. Delicious food and great staff! What a treat!
