Best Steaks in Alvor! Although I am a sea food lover, I always have one steak dinner each time we stay in Alvor and it is always at O Touro De Alvor. Friendly staff, great menu and a fantastic value for money meal for 2 offer

Very disappointing, a nice piece of steak but let down by trimmings or shall I say the lack of them. Very cold inside also.

Gemütlicher Ort. Sympathischer Kellner. Leider war das eine Steak kaum essbar und einige Gerichte und Dessert auf der Karte nicht erhältlich. Hat einen zwiespältigen Eindruck hinterlassen

Lovely food, clean and fresh establishment. You are sat pretty much on a road but the taste more than makes up for it. I am English and the Portuguese waitress was especially helpful.

Great place set menu 2tapas 2steaks and a btl of excellent red wine 35 euros an absolute great value for money. Friendly staff and no rush for wanting table for anyone else. Enjoyed so much booked for Tuesday night

Um espaço muito agradável. O Atendimento foi 5 estrelas, fomos muito bem esclarecidos sobre as nossas escolhas, tendo tido o cuidado de explicar que as pernas de caranguejo de entrada eram dos de compra e nao panados na hora. A carne é de qualidade, bem grelhada e tenra. Recomendo. Boa relação qualidade/preço.

Steaks wonderful but pricy. Crab and Squid starters disappoint. Staff indifferent about our comments on starters saying there were other good starters available; as if it was our fault. Will not return in an a hurry.

Shared the Big Boy steak meal with my wife and it was cooked perfectly.
Small restaurant but lovely food and a fair price.
I would definitely go there again.

Been several times over the last few years. Steaks are excellent, always cooked how you request them. Lovely desserts too. The staff are very efficient but also extremely nice and friendly

Great steak here but try to get a flyer down the street for the best deal. Place doesn't look much from the outside but the food really is good!

Local muito prazeiroso frequentado maioritariamente por estrangeiros. Alem da comida fantastica, a simpatia e disponibilidade do staff é 5*. A sugestão do melhor prato a degustar permite desfrutar do melhor. Para a qualidade da carne e das sobremesas o preço acaba por ser adequado.

We were lured in with a promise of two bottles of red wine on the house, they need not have done....... really good steak house, perfectly cooked fillet, and then an amazing home made tiramisu....... left happy :-)... and we did manage another 3 bottles of red.
Something unusual happened, when we lest, we were asked to check the tip we left....? why... because we left too much.... if you are reading this Mr Owner... it was VERY well worth it!!!

My wife and I had a fabulous steak meal with salad, wine, garlic bread, chicken wings and main course. The steak was tender and tasty. We will definitely return! The price was right too!

Best steaks in Alvor - without question. We've been spending the winter here for over 6 years, must have eaten about everywhere round Alvor - these peeps are the top of the tree. Succulent steaks, great service and likeable personalities. Thanks Guys.

Fantastic. From booking earlier in the day through arriving for our reservation and throughout our meal the service was friendly, professional and sincere. The steaks were cooked to perfection with accompaniments delicious. Thoroughly recommend for anyone looking for a good steak at a reasonable price and friendly service.

SUPERB
This is our first ever visit to the Algarve, but not our last steak at this restaurant. My wife had the 6.5oz fillet and I had the 8.75oz fillet. While the veg and chips were ordinary, the fillet steak was AMAZING!!!!! The house red was a Tinto red wine which for a house wine was very good value and faster great.
Then we ordered desserts and my wife had the house dessert which was a chocolate covered light sponge, mine was the Gelato Afogado) Ice cream drowned in Baileys cream & Served with Almonds and cream. ALL EXCELLENT.
Almost forgot, the service is second to none. SUPERB.

A lovely restaurant in Alvor, opposite the market, the steak was one of the best I've had in Alvor, very good service, try the special menu for 39euro for two people incl a bottle of wine.

Locale argentino gestito da inglesi...nulla a che vedere con la cucina argentina! Ogni cosa nel menù ha un costo a parte(es. il cestino del pane €1 dove invece ovunque te lo portano di prassi)...ordinate due bistecche media cottura,una arrivata quasi cruda e una troppo cotta...bassa qualità!

Local completamente giry ,nada tradicional. Carne argentina q podría estar buena de no ser por no acertar con el punto deseado, lo pedimos al punto y...... venia muy pasada. El precio.... la cartera bien llena te vendrá bien

Really good Argentinian steakhouse and incredible value too and very nice local Portuguese wines, Its overlooking the local market in the square, certainly the best steak we've had in Alvor with friendly attentive service.

Piccolo ed accogliente di fronte al mercato municipale, in largo do Castelo,riserva agli amanti della carne vere prelibatezze.
La carne é di altissima qualitá, tenerissima e proveniente da Uruguay o Argentina. Personale gentilissimo e ottima varietà di vini. Da non perdere..
