Leckere seafood Platte für zwei, Nachtisch zum Dahinschmelzen ;) und gute Cocktails.
Wer auf eine gehobene Atmosphäre und sehr zuvorkommende Kellner steht ihr hier bestens aufgehoben und macht nichts falsch. Eine Reservierung für das Abendessen ist zu empfehlen.

We went here twice in the space of 3 days despite it being about 7 miles from our hotel.
The food here for me was delicious.
On the first visit we had the oysters, razor clam and seafood rice and the monkfish kebab.
They were really really good.
The 2nd time we had the oysters again, and shared a whole sea bream on the bone which was filleted at the table .
We also ate the chocolate mousse and maracuja cheesecake.
Being the start of March , the restaurant wasn’t busy.
Staff were friendly and attentive.
Location on the edge of town and overlooking the sea front makes the place even more charming.
Not really a cheap dining option if on a tight budget but at the same time isn’t so expensive if coming from Northern Europe.
Around about €50-€60 for a 3 course meal including wine and water.

We had a party of 12 eating here. We had to keep our coats on as the place was cold. My mate jokingly complained about it and the waiter retorted that he was sweating. I suggested that my mate could clear up a few plates to keep warm. I noted that the food was very pricey for what it was and the house wine was 13.50 Euros a bottle.
When the cover plate arrived I burst into involuntary laughter. A few bits of stale bread in the basket and a few sliced carrots. Three cartons of butter for four people. Surely this was a joke?
Service was uncoordinated. Waiters leaned over guests to dump the food on the table. The food came at variable times. One of us waited an hour for his main whilst the rest of us ate.
My cod loin ? and roasted potatoes was tasty enough but at 16.50 Eu way overpriced. Across from me a couple had a sea food platter, all claws and shells and crunchy bits. They struggled to eat it with fingers. When nearly finished the waiter remembered to bring the proper tools to get into the various hard shells and crab claws.
Oh how I longed for some Wetherspoon fish'n chips whilst I sat there.
PS One of our party did complain about the cover apparently (which they did not charge us for) it was the last night of the season and they were giving us the remnants. - so that's all right then.

Een heerlijke beach bar om te eten! Mooi uitzicht, direct aan het strand. Veel vis op het menu, wat ook zeker een aanrader is. Binnen kan je alle verse vis bekijken. Ook erg kindvriendelijk en ontzettend vriendelijk personeel. We zijn hier meerdere keren gaan eten. Absolute aanrader!!

Friendly staff and great fresh food! It's no problem if you have kids, they have a seat and menu for them. The bar/restaurant is probably 40m from the beach so there is also a nice ocean view when eating or drinking.

Shockingly bad service. Too much to write but for an idea of what we dealt with, we ordered the hot stone steak and were given a luke warm stone to cook it on. After requesting another hot stone nothing came. After 30 minutes of waiting we gave up and asked for the bill and for the steak to be removed. They said we didn’t ask for a hot stone replacement when we clearly did as we couldn’t eat the raw meat in front of us!! No apology for any of it. Extremely slow service. We had 4 very fed up children by the end of it. We went here for our last night meal and ended up having to got back to the apartment and make toast! Don’t bother with the overpriced bad service at this restaurant.

Ambiente requintado e tratamento péssimo. Estávamos com roupa de praia e após um dia inteiro de sol estávamos com cara de cansados. Chegamos no restaurante e nos olharam com desprezo, pareciam não acreditar que pessoas trajadas daquela forma estavam de fato entrando no local. Acabamos indo embora.

Fomos para jantar, ficamos com vista mar, comemos cataplana de camaroes, mexilhoes e polvo, estava muito bom, apenas até para nós que gostamos da comida salgada, achamos que estava bem salgada... menos sal ficaria melhor!
É um bom restaurante para quem gosta de peixe sem dúvida! Sugiro para sobremesas o mousse de chocolate e o semi frio se frutos vermelhos!

Don't understand the glowing reviews at all! 66 euros for seabass that was plain and badly presented. Service was poor, no welcome, explanation of the menu, even a smile.. Mother had to cook her own food. Literally ignored and the food was nothing special at all. The setting is ok.

We had two tapas, seafood soup, fillet steak strips on stone, and a small dessert.
The seating and the area we were sitting in were both amazing. We had no discomfort on our butts and there was a nice subtle wind cooling us down all the time. The view was also really good since we had a clear view of the beach and the ocean.
We had an older waiter, but he he did his job really well and was really relaxing to have around, which is a nice change from the other restaurants where they keep hurrying and stressing you out a bit.
The food itself was probably the best we've had so far in this area, and we even had the fun of making some if it ourselves, to our own liking!
Later on we had live music too. It was an older gentleman playing his saxophone while also walking around while playing. He was quite fun and even interacted with the kids that were there.
The restaurant didn't seem to be super packed with people when we were there, so it might be a good place to visit if you want a little bit of space.
Would definitely recommend this place at least once if you're here!

Nice view but the food was pretty average.
My wife had the cod but it was horribly overcooked making it dry the calamari starter was like chewing gum and batter.
My steak was okay and maybe it was just an off night in the kitchen? But I had better meals for less nearby.

Comi uma cataplana de polvo e apesar de bem temperada com bons camarões e mexilhões, o polvo apesar de em bastante quantidade, a qualidade ficou a desejar dado q estava duro e notoriamente queimado pela congelação. Deviam reduzir à quantidade e melhorar a qualidade do polvo. As boxexas com estavam duras, não pareciam ser de porco preto. Boa sangria de champanhe.

Had great tapas. Also a nice place to stop on a sunny day to drink a beer looking down to the sea. Desert was great.

Great food and open tourists hours (before 7pm) for dinner. Pleasant atmosphere, and attentive staff helped push it to full 5 star. I enjoyed the chorico a braza and the monkfish espetada, both which I'd recommend.

Una terraza muy bonita y el personal muy agradable. Para todo lo que hemos comido nos ha resueltado bastante barato. La carne a la piedra muy rica. Lo recomiendo totalmente.

Overrated.
The food is alright, but nothing special. The squid starter was very small (and had fries and salad with it...), The squid kebab was a bit overcooked and lacked taste.
The meat apparently was good, and so was the potato, but it was very irritating how we were treated by the staff.
It looked like they were having a laugh at us... Joking with how we said things and then overcharging an ice-cream.
There are many great places to go, so avoid your time here.

When we saw all the positive comments we told ourselves that we must go. So we booked a table! We ordered a gambas al Guill... and a ameijoa bulhaõ as starter but the taste was far from exceptional. Then we had a naco vital ( beef meat) which was served with fried potatoes that were perfectly cooked, the beef was good. I had a monk fish served with ready made vegetables, a bit over cooked and not so much tasty. When we had finished, they clear our table but then we were left alone. No-one came to ask if we would like a dessert, a coffee or anything else. So we ask for the bill and left with no envy to come back again even if the view from the terrace is nice! We have no doubt that the food was fresh but the taste was not there. So for our point of view, it is a a very overrated place and too expensive for what we had.

Gins com preços muito aceitáveis. Peixe e mariscos frescos. Boa relação preço qualidade. Vista maravilhosa. Condições, atendimento e comodidade acima da média deste tipo de restaurante. Excelente ambiente. Recomendo tanto para almoçar como para jantar. Parque de estacionamento junto ao restaurante. Fumadores são bem recebidos e não ostelizados.

First and last time in this restaurant!!! The staff were warm and friendly. The restaurant itself with its setting looking over the beach is beautiful. Their sangria is possibly one of the best I've ever tasted.
Unfortunately, that is where the positive review ends for this restaurant.
We ordered a squid starter that was so chewy it could be bounced off the floor. My sister and I ordered prawn risotto that was quite frankly, disgusting. The risotto itself was an awful texture and tastes of nothing! I could have used it to paste a full wall for wallpaper. Two of our party ordered steaks which they requested to be cooked medium. However, both steaks were cooked well done and tasted of very little.
When the plates were being cleared from the table, not one of the members of staff inquired as to why they were taking away ENTIRE plates of food which is poor service. I feel they were scared of what they were going to hear.
The food for its standard was WELL overpriced. €32 per head for two courses of food that wasn't eaten is not acceptable.
Needless to say, I hope this review prevents as many people as possible from wasting their money in this restaurant.

Espaço acolhedor com uma vista deslumbrante sobre a praia. Arroz de tamboril delicioso, naco de vitela igualmente muito bom. Para terminar recomendo como sobremesa a Delícia do Algarve, surpreende pela mistura de sabores e tradição. A repetir certamente quando voltar ao Algarve.
