Eat here every time we are in Albuferia. Their evening food menu is good, in particular the Shrimp omelette and steak Portuguese. A fraction of the price of other more fancy establishments and totally freshly prepared by the great local couple who run it. Breakfast also good

The food was great; however, that’s more than can be said about the Waiter/Barman. Arrived at 2100hrs and asked for the Ribs only to be told in no uncertain terms that ‘they will take 30 mins to cook!! At 2200hrs asked for the Dessert Menu and asked for the Crepes - told ‘it’s a bit late to be asking for them’. Settled for a Apple pie and nothing, no cream or Ice Cream. Needless to say the tip was of equal quality - nothing!! We have eaten here before but never again!!! I wonder if the owner knows what’s going on!! As retired Restaurant Owners I’m afraid whoever he is he would be out of job at the end of the night.

Best in Portugal. Been going here years and never go to portugal without staying close to the Calipto. Great food and great service from the brothers and their family and staff. My favourite place to eat in Portugal.

Boa comida a preço razoavel

Bar local junto a uma das artérias mais movimentadas pelas noites dentro de Albufeira e bem pertinho do Hotel Auramar. Serviço rápido com muita simpatia. Foi lá em Dezembro 2017, sendo o mesmo muito movimentado por estrangeiros. Comemos um hambúrguer gigante...o melhor de todos. Bem melhor que McDonald ou Burger King, acompanhado e Batatas fritas caseiras e por 5€.

Very nice little cafe bar, great service, nice food reasonably priced. Nice breakfasts. Fresh orange juice. Handy for the Spar shop next door to buy your paper and have a read and drink.
