Klein aber fein! Sehr gutes Essen, guter Service. Man hat wenigstes den Eindruck mal nicht in einer Touristenküche gelandet zu sein. Sehr empfehlenswert!!

Very friendly staff. Food was good and at normal value for the area. The "Bife de Casa" sauce was too salty for my taste, but very nice portion.

Great food and a very traditional local place to eat. It's always busy so would recommend booking. Kids menu is a bit dull consisting of usual frozen / fried food when they have so much fresh produce it's a shame the u don't offer grilled chicken etc for kids. We had an error with our booking and the staff resolved this with little trouble. This place is tiny and I wouldn't recommend for families with babies as there is no changing facilities and very small toilets. It does however offer really great food and the tornado steak and king prawns were amazing. Best suited for couples or groups of adults.

Small cosy restaurant. I visited in November. I had Sea Bream. I had good service and the staff were friendly. It's straight up food nothing fancy but is fresh and tastes good.

Petit restaurant de quartier, très sympatique des patrons hauts en couleurs tres agréables. Parlent très bien le français ( ça aide) Nous avons goûté la soupe de légumes et celles de poisson très bonnes toutes les deux. la cataplana de palourdes et le poulet piri piri qui sont très bon.

Ce petit restaurant typique est charmant. Nous y avons été très bien accueilli et servit tout le long du repas (les serveurs parlent français ce qui est un plus)! Le repas était très bon (soupe de poissons, légumes, poulet piri piri, cataplane de palourdes). Je vous le recommande vivement

'Oribles d'Agua! I'm please so many people have enjoyed a meal here, unfortunately our experience didn't match up to the ratings. I would consider it a fairly rustic restaurant which is fine, simple is good in my book, we chose to eat outside but the plastic chairs and tables didn't really add to the ambiance nor did the rather tatty menus instill much optimism. We had Piri-piri chicken (ok) and Pork ribs (overcooked and dry), Grilled cod (lacking in taste) and Squid (ok); the acompying vegatables were drowning in oil. We didn't bother with dessert and were just pleased to settle the bill and move on. There seemed to be quite a few people eating there, so I hope we were just the exception to the rule.

Super busy in the evenings restaurant with the food so amazing it is worth coming back! The staff is busy, so you may need to forgive them service slower than average, but it is really worth it. I had sea bass, twice. Amazing! Squid is also great. Nice selection of wines and desserts. Very friendly and homy place. Highly recommend!!!

Cozy, familiar and traditional place! Real Portuguese food, no fake and fancy stuff for tourists, but the real Portuguese food. Soooo tastyyy!!! The Piri Piri Chicken and the Cod were wonderful and no words for dessert. From another world! I am usually picky, but we left 30% of the bill in tips. The staff is far more than just friendly, fantastic atmosphere. If we come back to the area, we will definitely stop by. Pictures make no justice with reality!

A busy place compare to other ones. However we easily found a table thanks to friendly service and our luck:) Try various grilled fish depending on your taste, or order chicken “piri-piri” if you are more into spicy food and ask for secret local made souse produced by Piri-piri & co!

Lo descubrimos leyendo reseñas y la verdad es que hemos repetido. Las sardinas espectaculares. El trato muy agradable y familiar. Relación calidad precio muy buena. Sin duda, en cuanto pueda volver, repetiré.

Más de 20 minutos para que nos atendieran, camarero tratandonos como incrédulos, más de 45 minutos de espera por la comida. Aunque mereció la pena. Pero lo que menos me gustó es como nos trataron por SER ESPAÑOLES, no lo entiendo, yo no les hice nada para que me tratarán como una tonta. Ahora eso sí, si eres Portugués te tratan como aún Dios. No lo recomiendo.

Boas sardinhas, preço adequado

"Baratas voadoras" - 14 de Agosto de 2017. Pior experiência gastronómica de sempre! Desloquei-me a este restaurante com o objetivo de degustar uma boa refeição na companhia de amigos. A "tragédia gastronómica" teve início com um cabelo no bife de atum (cujo prato foi retirado pelo funcionário e substituído por outro). No entanto, o pior estava guardado para o fim, quando constatámos que o tecto da sala onde nos encontrávamos a jantar era um autêntico "habitat natural" de - pelo menos - 3 baratas, que corriam - loucamente - de um lado para o outro, e que saltavam à vista na tinta branca do tecto. Vários clientes presenciaram a mesma situação de forma incrédula. Como se não bastasse, de seguida, uma das baratas caiu para cima do braço do meu namorado! Levantámo-nos da mesa e exigimos falar com o Gerente que acabou por nos confessar (entre risos e piadas!) que aquelas baratas eram "voadoras" mas "não fazem mal". Profundamente chocados e enojados com tal situação, abandonámos a sala onde nos encontrávamos a jantar e verificámos que a esplanada do restaurante era outro habitat de outras baratas! Ficam no ar algumas questões: Falta de higiene? Ausência de fiscalização das entidades competentes? Salta à vista a total naturalidade e desvalorização com que o Gerente encarou este episódio horripilante! Conselho: Restaurante a evitar, a não ser que simpatizem com baratas voadoras.

My family group have eaten here over the last 2 weeks and rate it 9/10 We love fish and love Sole and here we were served it cooked to perfection. The menu range is amazing which makes it a restaurant for all occasions. Service is friendly but not intrusive. We do not stay in Olhos but come for lunch and evening meal. It's great value for money and small but perfect.

I am giving them 5 stars because folks look at the 4.x rating. I think it is a good restaurant, it is not your gourmet place, nor it is your traditional portuguese place, I ordered some grilled squids and was expecting it to be a handful of them, in a "travessa"! but it wasn't it was 3 good sized squids on a plate with some green beans, carrots and potatoes. That made me sad, but they were cooked well enough that I would recommend the place :) So it is actually four stars, but the food is good and the waiters are nice and professional.

Culinair en bediening zijn super. Zeer gezellig en ik zal zeer zeker nog een keer aanschuiven.

Lunch gegeten. Ober Ramon is een eng zelfingenomen mannetje, doet net of hij heel wat is, maar vergeet vervolgens een halve bestelling en drankjes. De andere Ober is een vriendelijke man. Eten was op zich prima: tonijnsalade, Knoflookbrood, kip piripiri. Restaurant binnen gezellig, buiten krap.

Al weer enkele jaren geleden. Specialiteit dag van tevoren bestellen. Hele nacht gegaarde lamsbout met aarappel. Goede fles wijn erbij en je dag kan niet meer stuk. Top ! Dit jaar weer !
